How is reputation/status with houses tracked? Will it affect participation with future quests?

Hate to mini-mod and be a picky butt, but there is a lot of OOC remarks in the Heroica Hall thread. If I am in the wrong, then I apologize.

"Hello Alf! I am Hoke Ablesword. Yes, my quest mates and I ventured into the mysterious caves. Turns out it was a collect attempting to resurrect their ancestral matriarch. We showed up just in time to put her back to her proper resting place. Care to share my meal?"

Hoke sits down with a warm bowl of stew and a hunk of bread. Looks like he made it in time for an unusual show...

"I appreciate your offer, but I do believe I will hold onto this gem for a bit. Many thinks." Hoke again checks the Quest Board and pens his name once again: Quest #11: A Matter of Principle

First quest complete! Wrote a bit of a blurb in the Heroica Hall thread that goes with my idea for my character's look to progress. Being a 1st level adventurer, he didn't start out with much, but now has a little more, especially thanks to the generosity of the QM at the end! I think getting the mail armor is a good way to explain the increase in health as well as a way to update his look. Now I just need to take a pic of the new and slightly improved Hoke Ablesword.

Hoke enters Heroica Hall after successfully completing his first quest. He sees several new faces and greets those he passes by. Hoke waves over to Alexis and smiles broadly. He checks in with the caretakers to make sure his traveling gear is still secure. "Hoke Ablesword?" a pair a fat lips asks from under a foam soaked beard. Hoke turns to the side to regard a stout dwarf with an upturned mug to his lips "Yes?" Hoke replies. "Good! Just dropped a small crate off with your name on it around back. Seems that home has not forgotten you." "Many thanks sir!" Nodding his thanks to the caretaker, Hoke grabs his gear and glides down the staircase between adventurers' grand tales and story swapping. He makes his way to the back alley were supplies are dropped off and sees a crate with his family crest. A crest he has not yet earned. He eases open the lid with a nearby crowbar and sifts away the straw padding. There is a note on top with his family's crest pressed in wax along with his mother's initials. He opens the note: "My dearest Hoke, We have heard that you were accepted onto your first quest and are very proud. With the autumn season now here and the cold winter months fast approaching, here is something to keep you warm, and hopefully safe, on your adventures. With all my love..." Hoke opens the twine tied package to reveal and leather and wool cowl which he puts on. He looks back into the crate and sees yet another note and another package. This note had his brother's initials as well as the pressed wax family crest. It simply reads: "Something practical for a new adventurer" Hoke reaches down and picks up the heavy bundle. He unties it to find a mail coat. He unbuckles his gear and slides the armor over his padded clothes. It fits perfectly! He resituates his gear and walks back into Heroica Hall feeling like a tower. Hoke notices the two new quests on the board and pens his name under both. "Perhaps the Hinckwells will recognize my name and further esteem it if I successfully complete this quest as well." Hoke Ablesword signs up for: Quest #9: Trespassers and Quest # 10: Extra-Curricular Activities

Is there any advantage to playing a base class at lvl 15+?

Hoke deftly catches the great sword. He feels an ethereal force emanate from the mighty blade and swings it through a few cuts. "Many thanks to your generosity. I hope that I may prove myself of worth to the Hinckwells in the near future." Hoke turns to his fellow adventurers with a grin he couldn't conceal "And many thanks to you for this grand adventure. I hope all of my future quests are filled with fellows as brave and courageous as you. To Heroica Hall?"

Nice! Can't wait to see the attributes for the knight/cleric hybrid.

Hoke instinctively drew his sword as the light burst into his eyes. He tensed and stood at guard desperately trying to blink sight back into his blinded eyes. He quickly eased and chuckled as he heard the voice of their employer inquiring about the shovel.

"Thanks" Hoke says as he receives the cultist hat and emerald gem. Hoke drops the emerald into his belt pouch and puts the cultist hat back on. "Where to now? Are there any areas left unexplored?" OOC - my gold count is correct in my sig. 69 gold given to the chest = 0. 64 gold gain from spoils of chest + gold ore. Then 64 gold + 32 from last battle. 96 total.

Whatever system Castle theme comes next, I hope it includes forestmen style minifigs.

Hoke turns back to the battle and sees a new enemy enter the fight. He turns his attention to the new enemy to distract them Hoke attacks Cleric from back row.

Hoke nods I understand.

Hoke removes his cultist hat and throws it to Alexis, knowing she can do more damage. Hoke will attack from the back row.
