I bought the boulder blaster and have a review on this site. I love the set.

Found it at Toys R Us. They also had the Clone War Solar Sail Ship.

Set Name: Boulder Blaster Set Number: 8707 Year of release: 2009 Price: 27.99$ USD Parts: 293 Minifigures: 1 man and one monster Stickers: 1 sheet with 5 stickers on it. First the box. Front side. Here you have the vehicle in action against the monster (who is just trying to get a snack.) Bombs away Backside Flick fire TNT!!!! Yes it works. Shows some of the accessories included. Opening the box you have treads a bag of 1 monster (blue) and two number labeled bags. No problem. Sticker Sheet: I like stickers. I rather have stickers since I don't put them on. Same as the other sets. The grey splatter is a bit 3d effect. Instructions: There is only one booklet. Here are the insides. Random page: Don't poke your eye out!! At the read of the booklet there are a few pages showing all the sets and the combo sets that you can make. Ok, Enough of the booklet. Lets get to the meat of the set. Here are a few pieces I like. Of course the new roll cage. But I love the rubbery H part. I been wanting to get this piece for months now. FIGS: Take a look at his head. He has a metal plate. Mining is DANGEROUS kids. I love the back of the head. This is my favorite minifig in the series now. He comes with a skull cap. This is a cap that is a bit crooked. I think it is like the criminal hat in the city sets. Pilo O Brick. There are only a few orange which is great. Lots of nice green. Nice parts in bag two. 3 TNT and 2 blue crystals my favorite and a rubber band. After completing bag 1 this is what you get. This is a great engine compartment. I love the detailing of it. The brown exhaust is a bit out of place and seems weird to me. Left overs from bag one. Not to many left overs. Completed Set: Comparison Time: Conclusion: For the price I think it is worth it. The set has some great parts and a blue monster with two crystals. ( I did not remove mine from the packaging. I plan to sell or trade it). The flicker fire works great for up to 12 inches. ( My wife was getting annoyed as I repeatedly shot her with them. My son loved it though. This is my favorite set of the series. I own all but the largest one which i have no intent on getting. I think it could of came with the real treads (small ones) and used a better wheel system but that would of increased the price. Overall design: 5/5. Really do not like to give 5's but this set is really good Playability: 5/5. Kids will love it. Adults will complain of juniorization and that annoys me. MOC it then. Read the box its for kids. Before you ask.. Yes the treads move fine on a smooth surface (my washer) and the carpet. Flick fire works well and is fun to use. Pieces: 4/5. Yes only 4 since I would of liked to get a bit more greebles. I also wish it came with those new orange lights that are popular this year. Price: 5/5 28$ for me. Great price and that is at TRU!!. I got the only one. Heheh Overall rating: 5/5 I thought this was not released until I went to TRU to get some diapers. Found it and grabbed it so quick. Glad I did. Best Power Miner set for 2009 so far.

I think he is using "gay" as a slang. not in the same sex meaning. It has gone through many definitons over the last few generations. Back on topic. While the sets are tiny impuses I think they are ok. I am not a fan of the orange bionicle pieces but do love the crystals.

Interesting to see medium size monsters. I have three sets now of the PM and I really do like them now. I look forward to the next wave.

I glad I will get grey treads when I buy this. I have the black ones from the crystal reaper and tons of the smaller old ones but i want some grey ones to make tanks. I do wonder why the engine fan was so much pictured on the box too. I thought it would move with the treads. That would of been easy to do and only a few more parts.

I think the kit looks wonderful. Perfect size. I bet the front part raises to show the interior and there will be a bridge section? I'm thinking it will be about 120$ with less pieces than the ISD from 2007. They are over pricing these about 10$ to much and this bigger set should be about 20$ over.

I like these sets. I will be getting three of the five sets this year. I love the lime green and actually each set does a pretty good way of designing the engines.

I will be getting this when it goes on sale next year. Otherwise I will stick with the 3 smaller sets.

This will be a great part pack for me.

I called Lego and they are sending me a green crystal. Also I agree that this is a kids theme as I stated. Not so much for adults but the kids 7 and 10 that tested with me agreed this is the BOMB and put down their Pirate sets to give me their opinions.

Update: After getting a yellow crystal I requested LEGO to send me the correct color and they did. Got it last week and it is green. Do not know why I got the yellow. This was the only PM set at Target so I picked it up. Set Name: Mine Mech Set Number: 8957 Year of release: 2009 Price: 7.99$ USD Parts: 67 Minifigures: 1 man and one monster Stickers: 1 sheet with 5 stickers on it. First the box. Front side. Rear. This shows some features and what you can make when combining the smaller crap mining bike. Opening the box you get three bags. Two for parts and one for the rock monster which I love. You also get a sticker sheet and instructions. NOTE: The stickers have a raised rough texture to them. Almost like sandpaper. Neat. Here are some cool parts that I like. Great helmet and of course the TNT!! I am sad to see that this is not a GREEN jewel but a yellowish one. Many lime green parts which I love. The roll cage is a nice new part from Lego. I see lots of good uses for this. YUMMY rocks. Rock monster compared to the older rock monster. .........and 10 minutes later.... The rear is bare but I expect this. Comparison time.. Final Verdict. Overall design: 3/5 It is not bad. The legs and arms do not move that much and it not very stable so I take points for that. Exo-force has better leg and arm designs before. Playability: 4/5 This is made for kids and I think they will love it. How do I know. I had my nephews play with it and asked them. They want more Power Miners Pieces: 4/5 Lime parts are gravy for me. New TNT is a plus and the moster rocks. New fig with double face. Also comes with a crystal and a pick ax and a cool orange light on top. Would of liked some cheese slope in lime. Price: 4/5 8$ for me. Overall rating: 4/5 Good set that I consider impulse (under 10$). I think this theme will work well.

No missing parts for me yet. I did get 1 extra white arm and 1 black arm of the skellies. Extra flame 2 red and 2 yellow 1x1 rounds in today's So far my fav is the witch.

Creator: I bought several of the small packs. 3-4 of each one. These just rock. City: Coast Guard was nice but I may only pick up the platform set when it on sale. Castle: Great year. Big castle and LOVE the dwarfs Exo-Force: First year was best but still sad to see them go. I love mecha. Agents: So so. Still need to pick up the set with sharks. Indiana Jones: GREAT Star wars: I picked up a few things this year. Not so impressed Racers: Love the glow in the dark pieces but not so much the theme Speed racer: LAME and glad its dead Technic: AWESOME as always Mars Mission: GREAT year for this.

I'm not. I got the ISD from Target and sold it for 130$. That helped pay for my other gifts this year.
