Yep, for your limited parts collection this looks really good. I like the hull colors.

My favourite must be the 6085 Black Monarch's Castle,, a set I played a lot with when I was young. Back then, I got that set from my father, who recently passed away. That probably also gives...

I love your orphanage! If it could be bigger it would have been even better, but a Community Build is supposed to be open to each and every member and not everyone has a large collection enough to build something huge. Great background story too .

Welcome to the Pirates forum, Buffy, if you feel like it, please do share a bit more about yourself into the introduction forum . Thanks!

Yes, very much minifigs for such a tight space , but I guess that was normal back then and you of course are limited to the rules of the Community Build 2010. The interior looks very nice, I love the stairs with the weaponsrack, and the roof of the building looks very good too . Nice build, thanks for sharing!

Ha, someone from Brazil! I don't think we have many members from Brazil but of course you are as welcome as a European would be. Enjoy the forums!

Another outstanding mini added to your collection! I haven't seen Event Horizon yet so I cannot really comment on how it looks like the real one.

Looks like a great start for your Imperial fortress MOC ! Yes, placing is usually required for any 'decently strong' fortress during the Pirates age . I will be following this thread closely for any future progress.

Great looking barracks, personally I would have tried to add another floor to it so the beddings were upstairs and downstairs I would have placed some entertainment for the soldiers, perhaps a desk for an officer? Thanks for sharing !

Looks great so far indeed, especcialy for a Work In Progress! I love the backyard with the sculpture .

Indeed, LEGO is more expensive in Europe due to a various amount of reasons, but I buy a lot into the US directly, shipping from the USA to Europe is mostly pretty cheap. In Belgium, the flagship is listed at 149,99 Euro if I remember correctly.

I really buy most of my sets/ships incomplete or 'unchecked' too, of course I take a very close look at the provided pictures or to what's in the box on flee markets. And yes, one can really save a lot of money doing so, I fully support that statement. I just bought a BSB on eBay incl. box and instructions and some nice extra's (like the small island baseplate). Sure some common bricks were missing (like two legs for the minifigs) but all mayor parts like the cannons, the sails, the hulls, steering wheel,... were there! I paid a measily 61 Euro's for this BSB, incl. shipment! (remember, box and instructions were included!). Once I also bought an Imperial flagship (redcoats) + a SES for a total of 65 Euro's. No boxes, but superb sails and instructions! They were also 98% complete, the reason why they sell for less!

I am very happy for the Bionicle fans that this new line resembles Bionicle in many ways . Looks like Hero Factory has great potential too!

My worst fears to what could happen to EB? 1) Hostile takeover by a terrorist group/organisation? 2) A discovery is made that the plastic used into LEGO bricks cause heavy cancers and reduces life stronger then sigarettes, TLG goes bankrupt? :skull: 3) An EMP wave destroys the server, deleting all files, including the back-ups? 4) Jipay's wive stating that it has been enough! Choosing between her and EB is no longer an option, and he closes the forum. (like that would ever happen...) That's all I can think of for the moment... none are very likely to happen!

In the beginning, I visited like crazy (truly, even more then Big Cam, some will remember!) I even had the 'most clicks on the board, most visits, most use of bandwith' etc., someone of the Staff told me back then . Currently only my average posts per day remind me of that. Since then I however greatly reduced my activity since it really does take fewer and fewer time to read through threads and find the things I am interested in then it did back in my beginning days. I also needed to invest more time into other things, including the Classic-Pirates blog, but even now I try to visit Eurobricks multiple times per day. How many times? Sometimes every 15 minutes! Other days only once or twice... Most people really will 'calm down' after some time...

I love it Captain Zuly ! The interior looks really nice, including the beautifull desk. I also like the exterior.

A World Lost to Nature - Tyrannosaurus Attack
Zorro replied to Luke McAwesome's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Amazing! Looks really good, the trailer is so detailed (with the glass breaking and such due to the dino's attack), I also love what you've done with the story. What's my favourite part of this MOC? The first part of the trailer, for sure! -
I really love that 'little tank' of yours, although the Hades rocks too of course, but I prefer the tank which seems to be seriously armed and ready for combat! Perhaps you could make it so that the Hades can pick up the tank?
