Very good review. I was already outside the LEGO world when this set came out and it is the first time I have the occasion to look it closer thanks to your review. I must admit that, even if it has a raised baseplate, it is really really good. Well designed, playability, lots of nice details and so on. Very very good. I hope one day LEGO will come up again with something like this, but without baseplate :)

I'm really glad to see that we will have a medieval farmer impulse set, if it will have a pig included, I'll buy more than one.

I must admit that my first reaction was bad: maybe due to the very bad graphics layout. Then paying more attention to the blurry pictures I must say the new sets are not too bad. It will depend very much on the amount and quality of details and of the amount of big parts. Minifigs don't seem too exciting because we have only soldiers and soldiers and knights and soldiers and soldiers...

I want pictures........

I cannot imagine LEGO giving up with Indiana Jones without having released a set with the scene of the three traps from the last crusade and the waiting knight. I really cannot imagine that: imagine how much playability there would be in such a set... But it's true that LEGO focuses on kids and not on adults, and most probably nowadays kids don't even know that wonderful scene. I have read some of the previous pages and I didn't find the rumours about a fifth movie which could be a reason to continue to release Indy sets.

Hi, I've just bought this set to chase my cat and... I have a lot of grip problems with the floor of my apartment. Do you have any suggestion about it? maybe changing the wheels? To be really honest I'm not impressed by the sets and I think they are a bit too expensive. For example if I compare the MEdieval Market Village and the Troll Fortress and I think they cost the same...

Finally we get these better pictures which give us the possibility to have a better idea of what LEGO is preparing for us... The new pictures make me liking more the Bridge defense even if the presence of a jester, a queen and a golden knight make me thinking that the price would be a bit too high for the parts we get. I'm not convinced at all by the troll fortress as I wasn't before: it doesn't give me the impresison of a "troll's building style" and I'm very sorry for this. Furthermore it seem there is an abudance of big pieces which is very bad in my opinion. If I think at the 2008 dwarves' mine I can see a big gap with these sets. I don't know: my impression is that is better save money to get a second Medieval Market Village than buying these sets...
