Wheres Sharpe ? The decals look very nice its just to bad you couldn't get a few torsos in dark green , then they would look perfect. So you just took pictures of peices that you needed and put them all together to make a flawless minfig, pretty neat in my opnion.

The poor, poor little minifig
ProducePrincess replied to Pirate Pete's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
In elementary school i found a awsome black ninga . luckily i didn't give it to the office so they can give it back to the owner ( that would have been a great waste) . -
heheh , i wouldn't want to pilot that thing it looks like it would fall over as soon as you remove the support for it I used to have tons of trouble balacing my mecha my favorite part of this would have to be the cockpit .Im not a fan of the way the legs are connected to the body though, but it's not to big of a problem.

What figure represents the castle line?
ProducePrincess replied to Tom Bricks's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Well if it's castle in general then opne of the original knights from the classic yellow castle comes to mind. If it's the new castle theme then i would say it is definately the king minifig. -
Are there any summer sets being found in british columbia and in stores other than toys R us?

pretty neat mecha Tac . I think the medium assult bot has a bit to many gattling guns on it though , maybe take off the top one. The tallest mech near the back is my favorite , but i wonder why it didn't get it's own picture?

I perfer freight trains . They are easier to get a free ride on than a passenger train , and for my lego citys large population of hobos thats important Freight trains i find have a more intresting look compared to passenger trains and there are many more possibilitys with them . You could even use one for a post-nuclear diorama witch I think would look pretty neat. The Emerald Night makes this decision a lot harder to make.

How does that work out? If it's a topic about religion and you say that we shouldn't turn it into a conversation about religion then all the posts will become off topic and then the admins will have to close the topic because of the massive number of off-topic posts .Oh im so confused I'm fine with peoples religions but i perfer not having religious topics on a lego fourm , it leads to bad things.

I agree with tenorpenny , it isn't very crab like but that doesn't mean it isn't beautiful The head is well done with the brown cockpit piece flowing with the eye.Theres somthing about the position of the rockets and turret that bothers me. Good work and the colour choice is perfect.

I'm a fan of Tintin , though i don't know what catagory they would fall under.

Damn , you know i tried making a wolfpack starfighter for that starwars contest but i just found it impossible to keep the classic wolfpack feel . I even used a few odd tecniques for the cockpit ,but i found it to be impossible for me. I think you've done a pretty good job with the design and i love those decals . But my main problem with it is the colours , changing most of the bley to black will make it look more wolfpack and use some red where possible.

This set really reminds me of a crownie wolf pack tower. This set is really lacking when it comes to the interior, I wish lego would work on this flaw with their castle sets

A bunch of kid's from my school are worried about the swine flu so when ever they talk to me about it looking for imformation i just tell them not to worry or go live up in the arctic with the polar bears one student at my school wore a fae mask as a joke , so i don't think very many people are taking it seriously in my area. I really do think the media are making the swine flu seem worse than it really is. you also have the meat product companies panicking and going on tv saying that eating pork will not give you swine flu ( not that i buy their products anyways.)

well here's my guess theme - harry potter sub-theme - order of the phoenix set number - 5378-1: Hogwarts Castle The bonus question is - what is the name of that kid in the picture who's getting finger print's on my lego? did i get em right

I use lego teccnic tubes to make annoying high pitched sounds , but thats about it.

you would have to have a heavy weight or somthing in the front to stop it from tipping over when it fire's because wouldn't the barrel weigh more than the actual cart? still a cute idea though. just a thought , what would happen if it fired and the man was inside the basket and the cart fell back very quickly....he better hope no bluecoat's are around to get him when he flys out

Modded 8957 Mine Mech
ProducePrincess replied to green dewback's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
You make the mine mech cool I like your addition of epalutes to the minifig . The things you should look at are the left arm, it looks a little empty pretty violent mod , good work -
Natman 8000 yes it is a stratagy game and yes it does look awful Actually this look's alright , Not that I'd buy it though . The maps look good for a DS game and the overal set up is kinda nice but their doesn't seem to be many units. Will their be recource gathering?

Pinoccio sounds like a good name for him but one thing , he doesn't have a nose

Well I have to agree with everything Algernon has said. I think space would be one of the biggest themes seeming that it branches out into so many diferent sub-themes and I find myself building more space Mocs than anything else . One of the problems with the space sets is they're getting more violent and good guy vs bad guy oriented nad theres only so much you can do with somthing like that seeming lego guns don't actually blow up stuff. space police isn't helping this but it's still going in a better direction than early mars mission with it's foam missle launchers and creamy orange colours . The later sets in the mars mission theme went in a much better direction with the wonderful Mobile Mining Unit ( best 12.99 i ever spent) For me space is one of the best themes

This was my last model in shop class before the term ends . I agree with all of you when you say the head is to round but I'm not to good with the lathe also i was being covered in wood chips. The hands Are a bit oversized but it was one of the many design flaws , they still look nice though.

I made this suprisingly creepy fellow in shop class from my own designs I can't think of a good name for him though and one of the decent name's has already been taken up by a non-lego toy. so i'll just refer to him as Mr.Woods. doesn't the face look creepy , always starring at you with it's little beady eyes , always smiling . Arms move, Hands move , Head turns , Leg's don't. And heres the whole thing taken apart. So what do you guys think of my little friend The Black Rabbit

Secret lego fans
ProducePrincess replied to Melbourne pirate fan '87's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Kids used to bug me because i play / build with lego but now that im in middle school most of them have stopped and actually encourage my lego addiction . usually kids will use anything to tease you if you're one of the least popular kids in the class .If kids like you they will stop bugging you , this is how it went with me in elementary school (some of those little dorks still bug me about it) Its pretty much the same thing as being the fat kid in class(witch i was) . i'm loud and proud now , well not to loud . -
today i will show you a fantastic way to save money on lego , simply grow your own! With help from my friends the wolfpack I'll teach you how to plant your lego bricks so you can have your very own garden of lego! Step#1 Find a suitable location to plant your lego bricks and then start digging a two inch deep hole. Remember earthworms have been known to attack so be very careful. Step#2 Once the holes are dug start carefully placing the lego bricks in the holes and avoid falling in the holes at all costs . Step#3 After the bricks are placed in the holes you can fill them in with soil. It is not neccasry to bury yourself or others in the soil. Once everything is done you can go back to your tower ( or cardboard box) and wait for the bricks to sprout Next week we will show you the steps to taking care of your garden of ABS plastic Edit-I'm still waiting for those lego bricks to pop up out of the ground
