  1. Seeing as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 comes out tomorrow, I thought it would be the right time to share these 'troopers' with everyone. With help from ADHO (who started my train of thought by showing his version of Captain Price) I recreated the other characters using various templates of his MS Paint Clone army, mixing them with my own colour schemes. And here is the result: From left to right: Soap, Ghost and Price (credit for his face goes to ADHO)
  2. Thanks so much everyone. My first blog too!!! Yes, that is a custom JSF. I modified Ahsoka's as it was the one most like Fisto's. Thanks again!
  3. Hey everyone. I've been very busy lately, so I haven't had much time at all for Eurobricks. Now that I have some spare time, I'm going to share some more MOCs with you all. This has been built for... ohh... two years now? I kept taking parts off to use elsewhere, but I finally decided to get it finished and out of the way! And here it is, Grievous' Lair, in the playset style of Cloud City and this year's Echo Base. I tried to incorporate as many things as I could from the CW episode where this location debuted. Unfortunately, I couldn't make Gor, General Grievous' pet, as I didn't have the parts. Anyway, on we go... Fil and a trooper fight one of the Magnaguards... Vebb battles next to a statue of Grievous... The landing area door can open... Who dares enter the Lair? Watch out for the Molten Pit!!! Operated by removing the support... Fisto engages Grievous... His Doctor watches, shouting encouragement! (custom made head decal) Grievous' repair room/control room... The armory... Can he escape in time? Operating station for the hologram... Is it a trick? Thanks for looking. C&C welcome!
  4. Life gets in the way... again. Sorry about that. I tried to make this one a bit more 'literal' and more interesting LEGO-wise: Oky had no idea Jammie had designed the new 'chute system' he had just installed, which allowed Oky to get to his car a lot easier, or that Jammie would come to take out the trash in a rented garbage truck. Video explaining the whack: Clicky! See more on my Flickr!

    Droid Carrier

Thanks guys. Yes, it holds a total of 24 normal BDs and one Pilot. Hopefully I can make more of these out of the spare bits I have.
  6. Hello again. Today I'll be sharing quite an old MOC (I made it around Christmas), which is my own take on the Separatist Droid Carrier. I based it mainly on my memory of the latest version in the Battle of Naboo set, as well as making it more to my taste with things such as weapon racks and the sheer amount of droids it can carry. I put a normal Battle Droid by the craft to give you an idea of the size: Now we move onto the 'racks'... For the Droids: For their weapons: I used magnets to 'clip' the Droid rack in place and the stud technique (as used in the second MTT), with lots of tiles, for the weapon rack. I prefered to use magnets because detaching the rack is much smoother. Slotting the racks in: The cockpit, complete with controls (unlike both previous versions)! You can also see the cannons on either side... Thanks for looking. C&C welcome, as I intend to improve this model. See more here!
  7. Hello everyone. Recently, I haven't been as active on Eurobricks as I used to be. In fact, I haven't posted for a good while now. I have been making MOCs though, and lots of them, so expect quite a few more 'topics' from me this week. We start off with the Battle of Kamino. Colt and his men fight bravely to prevent the Separatists from destroying the Cloning Pods in heart of the city. They are outnumbered and outgunned, but they have a duty: to protect their brothers. (credit to Arealight for the helmet and the EB Decal Index for the decals) A shinie is obliterated by a rocket. I used a trans-blue tiara for sparks: See more here! Thanks for looking. Please comment!
  8. Spec Ops - Survival Mode trailer:
  9. No no. My next one is in progress. :)

  10. Fantastic! I'm loving these! As far as I can see LEGO are really going the extra mile with new molds! That Genie is just amazing! The best so far IMO, followed by the Statue of Liberty (slope is the wrong way round? ). I'm looking forward to seeing the others! This just might be the best series yet, and hopefully not the last!
  11. Wow. Didn't realise Tesco had it too! Thankyou!!!
  12. Republic Frigate and Sith Nightspeeder, both 20% off from Tesco.
  13. How many could you get discounted, then? I'm thinking about ordering the expensive SW sets, and I wouldn't like having any one of them at full price.
  14. While the TIE and Amidala look great, that Death Star Trooper doesn't appeal to me. Primarily because of LEGO's ridiculous new trend of making helmets sit way too far up the head! They better fix that soon!!! Thanks for pics and info!
  15. Rofl. Fair enough! I hate that TS train, which makes the whack more personal. Nice hat too! My turn again, at last!
  16. I reckon the character portrayed by Bill Pullman is somehow behind this, whether knowingly or not. It was how Jack said 'it all gravitates around him' (or something like that) in the post-episode series trailer. I'd like to see new scary aliens, like the ones in Children of Earth at the end of the series as it's always good to see new faces. And I totally agree with Simonjedi's point. The Heli crash was badly done. Then again, if they retain the injuries, I doubt they'd be able to move. Which makes me wonder... if someone is literally turned to ashes, are they living?
  17. I recently got in contact with The Milton Keynes store about the new wave of SW sets, and apparently they are due in the last two weeks of July (i.e. now) and early August. Hopefully we'll be lucky enough to get deals straight after they come out, like the Americans.
  18. Rank up!

Clone Trooper Sergeant Shooter Super Sergeant of the Master Sergeant to the Extreme Person!

  19. It saddens me to say I won't be able to attend. There is simply too much going on at home and at school. I hope you all have a fun time! I might see you another year.
  20. Wow. I'm so pumped for the mid-series finale! Trailer: http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/dw/videos/p00h7m4l
  21. No Oky, I actually meant this one perfectly innocently. Would I have given you a non-sumo chest, and even put you in a gym in the first place if I meant to mock that? I thought you lost most of it anyway. Besides, I've gone too fast on the treadmill sometimes too! Thanks for the comments guys. Glad ya'll like it. Let's see what he comes up with.
  22. This is kinda based on what I've been doing a lot more recently, inbetween revision, to get the blood pumping. It was a normal day at the EB gym. To the members' surprise, Oky had finally turned up to training. Because he loves walking, he started off on the treadmill. Unfortunately he didn't know how to use it, and quickly got 'out of his depth'. The other Eurobrickers watched on, in wonder. More here!
  23. Indeed, my next Whack is ready to be photographed. Exams are in full swing, but I have extra free time today so hopefully I can get it up!
  24. Yeah guys, this isn't for bashing. I think BFIII looks good too though. I notice the AC-130 no longer has the stupid black and white screen colour, so hopefully you can swap between thermal and normal in campaign as well as multiplayer... and is the building it's shooting in London, or the US?
