Count me in! This'll be a good way to get me back into SW MOCing!

Geonosian Catacombs:
-
The Geonosians are probably my favourite aliens in the SW universe, so I thought it'd be good to remake the scene when Anakin and Padme wake them from their sleep... Thanks for looking.
-
Neither. It flips up. Just some things to say about the set accuracy to the movie:

Sign me up matey.

I have no idea. I thought that myself. Maybe Loki's stolen the cube from Hawkeye as he's trying to take it away in the jeep? Done.

Hello everyone. I was lucky enough to get this set yesterday, and I can't wait to share it with you all. Set ID: 6867 Set Name: Loki's Cosmic Cube Escape Set Price: £20 Theme: Marvel, Super Heroes: The Avengers Box: I like the new colour scheme for this line; much more colourful! The LEGO Cartoon Avengers look nice too! The back shows set features, including Iron Man's flip-open mask/Stark's dual-sided face and the fling Loki function... Contents: Two bags, the larger contains smalled baggies for smaller pieces and figure accesories, and a DSS. All the figure pieces. Instructions: They are medium sized and standard LEGO quality. Comic: Nice little story, and some other views of the new Spidey figs! Figures: Nothing much to say apart from their fantastic detail and the general . I would have liked the Cosmic Cube to have some sort of printing. Loki's helmet is made from the rubber plastic. Hawkeye is great, I like the double sided head feature. To me his hair looks a bit too slicked back compared to in the movie trailer. His Bow & Arrow is awesome though! I can use it for my Green Arrow figure too! The back print is stunning! Iron Man's helmet coems in two parts. Just look at him! The SHIELD Jeep: A normal build, with some nice new pieces and building techniques. Nice little addition of a rear window so Hawkeye can watch Loki being flipped away! I decided to apply the DSS as it looked rather plain without patterns... Spares: Overall: I'll give the rating of the set as a 9/10. The build is not very repetitive, the set is smooth, contains a great part selection and detailed figures, and the price isn't too bad either! Thanks for looking, I hope it's enough. If you want any specific pics, please ask and I'll try my best to get them to you.

MTT Minifig Scale entry here.

Alright guys, I type in 'w*lcome' (replace the * with an 'e') and it says 'My nipples are burning'. Hilarious. Way to get us banned quickly. EB population control???

Hello everyone. Here is my entry to the community build, arguably from the most epic scene of the Phantom Menace - the Naboo Fields battle! (ignore the desert ) There is no interior as of yet, and hopefuly I'll make more adjustments and update this thread.

I'm sorry to hear you're going Kim. You've been such a great moderator and have really made us all feel at home in the LEGO world of Star Wars. I wish you the best of luck with the new job, and with wherever else your life takes you.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 4 Discussion
-JD- replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in Culture & Multimedia
From Rebelscum; Filoni on Order 66 in The Clone Wars. Sounds promising! -
Lucky me, I managed to score all the wave but the JSF and Y-Wing. Seeing as Mutley beat me to reviewing the smallest sets , I'll review this in detail and the rest lightly. It takes too much time doing in depth reviews and I have other things more important going on. Anyway... Overview: Some nice new box art. It works better than I thought. The back shows possible storylines and the play functions of the set... Inside... Just two numbered bags, and a new type of plastic and casing for the wings. Nice stuff, and the wings themselves are very well detailed. The instructions have a little comic at the back. Neat detail. The Figures: All new, if you go by the Bricklink system. The Geonosians are beautiful, except for their heads. Those are just revolting. Not to mention those excuses for sonic weapons! The old megaphone with a stud on the end works better! I hate those things with a passion. Why not recolour and add printing to the old design?! Ack. /rant Barriss and Gree are also nice. I prefer the non-CW Barriss head; this one looks like she's scared. Gree has some nice detailed printing, but sadly a normal Clone head. The Cannon: A pretty solid build, and not repetitive. It's quick for a build with such a variety of bricks. It works well. The front, incomplete, in all its bulkiness! Spares: Fin! All in all I recommend this set for any army builder/fan of the Clone Wars. Not only are the figures lovely, but the set itself is really good. The only things are the ghastly Geonosian heads/guns and lack of printing detail on the cannon. So I give it an 8/10. If you have any queries about the other sets I have, I can post replies with pictures here when I can.

"Yo whatap my bredreeennnn. Who daaaayurs mess with me, ARC Trooper MC Hammer?" Some of the kiddies on here won't understand this.

Well, I have to say I'm in love with this theme. The movies were brilliant, and so are the sets so far! I have such high hopes for the finished products! I'm going to share some ideas of mine that may have already been said, so forgive if they have been: Gandalf Arrives: The only happy set of the line up so far. New firework molds, which can easily be swapped into other themes. It would have been nice to have had a new coloured horse, but ah well. Weathertop: Excellent. I really hope Frodo has a double sided head, one normal/scared, the other when he's been poisoned by the sword. I think the other Hobbit could do with dual faces too. In fact, all the figures should have them (as long as they don't extend below the back of the hair). Aragorn would be determined/enraged. Uruk-hai Army: Just perfect for army building. Battle for Helms Deep: Can't wait to see the final Beserker. Hopefully the helmet-less Uruk is different to the one in the Army set. But no Elves? Would've liked one of those Uruks which 'planted' the bomb too... Mines of Moria: Looks good so far. I'd rather have had just one skellie and another Orc/Goblin though. Shelob: Looks okay (not fond of spiders ). Gollum looks like a creature from Minecraft or something! Bring on the battlepacks! Bad guys would be a Beserker, two Orcs and an Uruk (all new prints/molds) with a selection of weapons, bomb, and a largish crossbow. Good guys... a Gondor soldier, two Riders of Rohan (one with a horse), and one Elf (all new prints/molds), with a damaged wall and catapult. Hopefully we'll see larger sets in the next wave. I'll be keeping a close eye on developments here...

Wow! Thankyou so much CopMike and the other organisers! I'm so chuffed to have won at the last minute! But... as I already have Watto... would anyone like to trade their Shaak Ti for him? Been after her for ages. And what are the possibilities for the '?' figure? (sorry to be lazy, but I don't want to trawl through 20 pages to find out ) Thanks again!!!

Found the Geonosian Starfighter for £15 in Tesco, that's half price! They also had Series 6 minifigures by the newspaper stands/doors.
-
Beautiful set, fantastic review... this has made my mind up (it already was, but ah well )! Thanks for sharing! Oh, and just one point, the 'glass' around the kryptonite would not prevent it from harming Superman. Only lead can do that.
-
Well, looks like my good friend ADHO beat me to it using my plain template! Here is my Phase II template sheet: And ADHO's Phase I, Phase I.5, and Rex sheets: I also quickly added a Rex without a visor but with pistols: Enjoy them guys!
-
Wow! Cheers lads! Yes, I will be making the other weapons. I've almost done Rex's pistol stance now!
-
Here's a few I made earlier: Omega Redux Rezcon I also made a new MS Paint Clone template, with guns! I'll be making a Commando one soon too.

A bit of the Christmas Spirit in the trenches, just like in WW2.
