Good set overall. Nice new features, but it needs a few more I think. Albeit, I'm still picking one up. Thanks for the great review CopMike!

LEGO Collectable Minifigures General Discussion
-JD- replied to Nabii's topic in Special LEGO Themes
May the 1st is the date. It was mentioned in the UK Sales thread less than a week ago. I have decided to delay buying any figures until the barcodes for the figures are posted, and till I find a store where you can examine the barcodes without a shop assistant asking what you're doing. -
Star Wars The Clone Wars Season 2 Discussion

I just realised how close we are to Season 3. I thought we had more than three episodes to go yet! -
Thanks for the nice comments so far. @Rob- I just put a hinge under the girder held up slightly by two 1x2 plates and a bit of white tack. Although it isn't all LEGO, who is going to see the tack under the rocks, eh?

This theme was my favourite of all time. Lovely accesories and sets, this the best of them all. Super review. This has certainly swayed me into wanting to buy the set after such longing for the past seven years.

My first order from BrickLink! The parts are to finish off a set with missing pieces.

My favourite Star Wars ship on display is a must, so I needed a stand! I wanted the stand to be different to other stands. Instead of just the set information on black bricks, I wanted to make it interesting. Overview: ARC-170: Mountain Top: C&C welcome.

Can anyone see the different faces for the Cad Bane's Speeder Commandos in the poster?

Star Wars The Clone Wars Season 2 Discussion
-JD- replied to DarthSion's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I watched 'The Zillo Beast Strikes Back', and I think it was another rushed episode. It could have done with being a bit longer, but the story was good. It was a sad ending (as we all guessed) but I think the Chancellor's plan may come into Season 3. The likeness to King Kong was too strong in this episode, but the destruction in the plaza area was pretty cool! -
Luckily I used my special powers to anticipate this PoP month and pre-upload a PoP themed avatar. I agree about how confusing the colours are.

Scary stuff. When I first saw this I thought the ash cloud would be over the whole of the UK! Thank the Lord it won't be. I sympathise with those stuck all over the globe because of it. I've never been on a plane, and if I was due on one for the first time today and this happened, I would see it as an omen.

I've never seen this thread so quiet. Anyway, today I rewatched 'Hostage Crisis' and took a closer look at the characters. I surprises me how the Assassin Droids or Commando Droids are not included in the figure poster. They play a large role in the episode, but LEGO don't really care about that sort of importance, eh? I thought that the Senate Guards could have some sort of compatibility with a Commando droid (if any figure of the sort is produced) and have to option to put the Droid heads under the Senate Commando helmets. Just like the questionable Tactical Droid in the Turbo Tank I wondered whether LEGO had not yet fuly designed the figures to go into production...

Simply stunning rendition cavegod! It's great to see it finally finished and looking so beautiful! Awesome work! What's next? An interior?! -
This is such sad news. I pray for his family and am so sorry his life was brought to an end so early. He will be remembered by many of us, I'm sure, for his superb LEGO creations which were so inivative and awe-inspiring.

Their best advert is this one: Freakin' hilarious! Glad you like it. It's very popular here! I don't have weed, so no thanks. Good advert though, nice sort of humour. Found some more good adverts: -
Aw shucks! Love is good enough for me though!

Looking forward to the results! Does the whackee get a prize too?
-
Do you have a Pit-Droid minifigure? I would use a brown arm from that for the eye stalk. Nice little creation though. EDIT: Corrected 'orm' to 'arm'.

He is?! *rushes to get camera and take some pictures* Clone Trooper Misprints: (orange markings at the bottom of the helmet ) Other Figures: Apologies for the wait!

My sentiments exactly. The Pizza Truck has lots of detail and useful parts, so it is the best TS set so far! Seriously though, all those pizzas?!

Doctor Who, Torchwood, Sarah Jane Adventures...

Did anyone notice how the kid who got trapped at the start of 'The Beast Below' was silent at the end of the episode, and then the crack appeared? I love that messing-with-your-mind stuff! -
Most Annoying and Best Adverts in your Country?
-JD- replied to Jipay's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I found the Go Compare adverts pretty funny the first time, but then they became very annoying. Other annoyances are the 118 adverts and the stupid car ones that sponser movies. At the start of the commercials and at the end, and then this repeated ten or more times over in all the ad breaks gets quite tiresome. The best ones are these:
