Hi Gerger, I very much like your design, I also want to avoid to buy the expensive rechargable battery. What is the 3rd L-motor used for? Do you have more pictures of the modification? At the moment I can not imagine how to rebuild the gearing for all the functions. Best regards Markus

Pat, could you please explain a little more in detail, what you changed on chassis and steering? I'd like to re-build your steering with the Servo-motor, but currently I don't really understand what to change. Thx Markus

Hi to everybody here in the community. My name is Markus, living in Austria, age 40+. I liked LEGO Technic very much when I was a kid and now my interest was awakened again when I saw an ad for the Unimog U400. I started building LEGO again and currently own 4 Technic sets: 8880 Supercar 8258 Cranetruck 8110 Unimog 8043 Excavator Together with my little son (4 1/2 years) we have lots of fun building and playing with these big models. Now I joined here because I already got tons of inspiration for modifying the models while reading also want to contribute if possible Best regards Markus
