  1. Em stared at the remains of the Harvester, curious. "I wonder...." Walking over to it, he examines it, though does not touch the thing. "There is much to be learned from such a weapon," he says, eyebrows furrowed. "If you don't mind, I think I shall take it to do just that," he continues, somewhat pensive. Watching the Apprentice in pain made Em a little anxious, however. He turned away from the Harvester for a moment. Em walks up to the Apprentice, kneeling by him. "Do you want a swift death?" he asks, drawing a small knife from his sleeve. "It sounds as though you have suffered enough. Killing you now-- and quickly-- is the only mercy I can provide."
  2. Em attacks the Apprentice from the back row.
  3. Em draws an arrow, firing at the Apprentice.
  4. Em chugs back his final potion, not wanting to risk being KO'd. He remains silent, glowering slightly at the heartlessness his companions presented. The Apprentice may be their enemy, but his grief was real, and Em could respect that. Death was necessary, but they needn't rub it in. OOC: Right on time, it seems. Sorry, I'm right in the middle of a bunch of exams before March Break, so I've been spending a fair amount of time studying. I'll try to get posts up more often.
  5. I attack Anacondie from the back row. (If Karie takes him down, I attack Hissticuffs).
  6. "Two on Anacondie, one on each snake, one on the apprentice?" Em asks with a raised eyebrow, drawing back his bow.
  7. "I risk getting KO'd if I attack Hissticuffs, but very well," I say, aiming and firing an arrow at Hissticuffs, knowing full well the way my luck is going that it would end with me knocked out. :P
  8. I attack Vipunch from the back row.
  9. "Just my luck," Em mutters, chugging back a potion.
  10. I aim and fire at Cobrawler from the back row.
  11. I follow the party, taking rear guard, bow drawn and an arrow on the string.
  12. "Anxious more than nervous," Em replies, tightening his bowstring slightly. "Slightly bloodthirsty if it counts for anything," he continues, his face stone, though his mannerisms slightly aggressive.
  13. Em pockets the ten gold, nodding to Arnulf in thanks and flicking his hand in mock salute. He then watches and waits for the guard's reply.
  14. "I'd rather get out of this prison before we chat," Em replies, just as quiet. He begins retrieving his arrows, checking them to make sure they're intact. Em looks around for anything interesting.
  15. Em holds up his hand, refusing to take the potion from Karie. "Keep it; I have two," he coughs, before removing one from his bag and chugging it back. "Where to from here?"
  16. I fire at Beardy from the back row.
  17. Em fires at Pinhead from the back row.
  18. Em fires at Dualo from the back row. "Shame," he mutters, though his face doesn't betray the emotion behind that word.
  19. "Halt, Arnulf," Em says, gesturing for him to lower his dagger. "Perhaps our Knight may speak sense into these poor lads." Though he says this, Em keeps a hand on his bow and another close to the quiver on his hip, eyebrows furrowed. He examines the area for anything suspicious.
  20. "No," Em replies, as nonchalant as he can be. The dodging of the question is obvious. "And as far as Em being an awkward name, it's not one I chose. Just something people have called me for a long while. It's become my name."
  21. "People call me Em," the green-clad ranger replies quietly, tense and ready for combat. "And as far as being a psycho, I wouldn't deny it. After all, insanity and ingenuity are often intertwined." He gestures to the remains of the cymbalroot as if to prove his point-- Whether the point be that his ingenius yet obviously crazy pun-plan worked, or that the cymbalroot represented this "Stealer of Senses" and his obvious ingenuity and insanity, it wasn't clear.
  22. "I feel a little stronger after that last battle, so I believe we should be able to handle what they throw at us," Em says, bow drawn and an arrow nocked. "As far as blue being the apprentice, I don't necessarily agree. He asked if this was right, something the apprentice would never do..." Em shook his head, not continuing his thought, deciding it best to remain silent.
  23. Em sighs, rolling his eyes. "The answer is simple, you see," he starts. As the cymbalroot gets into position to grasp the key, Em speaks up again. "There was a big paddle sale at the boat store. It was quite an oar deal." He half snickers and half grimaces at the lamest pun that came to mind, hoping that this would cause the cymbalroot to let off its rimshot and thus grasp the key.
  24. I attack the Cymbalroot from the backrow.
  25. Em draws back his arrow and fires again at the Warring Widow.
