  1. Looks like it's either meant to look like he's swinging it or someone made an oopsie.
  2. Eh, it's cool, but from what I can see it isn't my favorite set. I wanna know what the interior is like. :|
  3. ^ Summer. Are you talking about the actual torso pieces, or the armor that goes over them? Also, pretty sure Surge's weapons can be held two ways/have two connection points.
  4. Hopefully this heralds the return of old-type skeletons. Also looks like you get two Sharkies. Aaand I wish they had assembled the portal thing so we could see what it actually looks like…
  5. Or they could be those Stars feet that make up Thunder's feet. Separate. Also cool recolored Tridax pod and Thornax launchers and ankle guards. Also Von Nebula's head looks weird and cool at the same time. Also massive amounts of triple connectors yay. And yes, excellent posing 10/10.
  6. Personally, I think the instruction version looks better, because it looks like there's fire in the little "cup" at the end. Also it doesn't go down to being so visually thin. And a cannon! :D Anyway, good set. Nice for cheap cannons, cutlasses, guns, generic pirates, stone/wall pieces, and soldiers. 'S why I got two. :)
  7. And in 2004 he came crashing down on the planet, and that neither sent it out of orbit nor split it in half.
  8. I hope so. Those were much better "inside" clothes than the hose-covered suits they're wearing now.
  9. Anyone who has Mars Mission aliens now has kelp people too. :D I like to pretend that mine are "neutral" and just attack the heck out of everyone.
  10. No, the heads, the hands, and the foot sockets. I counted each hand twice in sets with two hands, hence almost four.
  11. UNION PIERCE THE HEAVENS etc. Almost four!!
  12. Claims of rising oil prices would be met with a resounding "HELL YES", with gas in the U.S. up around $4 per gallon from under a dollar just a few years earlier. -> Also notice the massive amounts of new molds in the '08 Matoran alone.
  13. Hi, welcome to planet Earth. We are currently going through a massive recession, as well as facing dwindling oil supplies and heightened prices for petroleum-based products. Enjoy your stay. Also, size matters. $5 for a single piece is not unreasonable. Neither is $15.
  14. Hopefully something related to Universe.
  15. Wow, they were free? I was under the impression that you had to buy a crappy meal to get one.
  16. Yeah, LEGO should take this line back to the roots of its predecessor, BIONICLE. Yanno, the sets that had all that articulation, no giant torso pieces, and that weren't just clones with minor differences in weapons and limbs.
  17. Considering that Atlantis was an ancient city with ancient people, I doubt it's actually a rotten jacket.
  18. So by creating a new line that targets younger audiences, they're no longer building toys for all ages?
  19. I was thinking about that recently. Yes, it would give them good reason to want to protect the keys.
  20. I hope that isn't just LEGO using the CGI to make things look shinier. Hello, welcome to the BIONICLE forum.
  21. Today I got the Wreck Raider and Monster Crab Attack sets. I like them both. The crab has cool posable legs and the Raider is fun to swoosh. I think the Atlantic keys would make good wheels on some wizard's cart of tricks. And also talismans for 9 MOCs. Sharky is cute. :3 Also it's cool to have harpoon gun and grappling hook pieces now, as I'd never gotten any before.
  22. I think the new trailer, showing that the arms and legs are the same, answer that question, since one-piece leg armor wouldn't work too well if it didn't bend with the leg. Sooo… I doubt it. He basically confirmed that they aren't.
  23. It just looks like the usual pin hole with the recess on the inside to house the ring on the center of pins but with some shadow on it. Also, look at the other arm's elbow. It's a bit too smooth to be two pieces.
  24. Possibly. Or probably at least people who are of similar language and/or culture to humans, again to connect them with the buyer.
