  1. We figured out the armor was attached by ball joints a while ago.
  2. While it's good to know that the pieces can be used multiple ways, it seems sort of awkward for Surge to have the largely defensive weapon of gun while everyone else has what look like melee weapons (plus he and Breez are the only ones without the large shield-like pieces, which I think look better).
  3. No, I meant the square "brackets" (again, I can't think of anything else to call them) were on either side of the ball joint that's in the middle of the actual arm piece. I circled it here. I was talking about his left arm, because there's a giant weapon in the way.
  4. It looks like it will be. Jetbug's left arm shows fairly clearly that there are square "brackets" (I really don't know what to call them) on either side of the ball joint, which probably push up against flat surfaces on the inside of the armor pieces to prevent them from turning or wiggling. Though there's one thing that bugs me; Stormer, Surge, and Evo's lower left arm pieces seem to be shorter than the other lower arm piece and don't have the middle ball joint, though overall their left arms appear to be the same length as the others'. I can't tell if this is just an illusion or if it's actually the case. Because an even shorter arm piece would be twice as much <3. (Breez and Nex's left arms look like the longer piece, and I can't see Furno's for obvious reasons.)
  5. - Can roll into a ball - Can shoot a smaller guy out of their chests (which can also roll into a ball)
  6. Eh, I'm iffy on his new parts. The socket-on-one-end-ball-on-the-other- limb idea is great for short limbs, but I don't like how the really long ones look.
  7. Only because of the four-eyed effect, I think.
  8. No I meant this one. It wouldn't load before but it works now. I like the fact that the limb pieces have ball joints in the middle of them. The armor attaching via socket joint is a bit meh, though, but it leads to some good customization possibilities.
  9. I'll believe it when I see it. Also, I can't seem to see the last image. Anyone want to enlighten me/share it?
  10. Clearly M3gaB@rff had an employee spy working inside ♥LEGO♥ who got the information about HF and then they made this transparently knock-off brand to try to capitalize on Hero Factory's obvious success. Because ♥LEGO♥'s themes are always, always, always the most original things in the world and M##aBl##s always ALWAYS copies them.
  11. Found a pic.
  12. Maybe. - Glatorian hands - Lightsaber blades - Minifig spears - The bladey spiky things from the Crystal King. That's all I can see so far. But I am still geeking over the saw/blade combo weapons on Nex and Breez.
  13. … huh. I guess so. But now they're in multi-useful black so it's still cool. Not to mention the potential for funny campfire vigs. And WHOA SNAPSKIES the temple has dark green Kalmah tentacles.
  14. Crab person! <3 Also, angler person! <3 Also, short bent minifig-grippable bars! <3
  15. Well those look… odd. I like that they seem to have new limbs. And some of the new weapons were cool. But for a brief shining moment I thought they had new hand pieces that weren't as long and I was like "YYEEAaww :[". But yeah, shorter bending limbs! Woo!
  16. Nice header. Took me a second to figure out what it was, though.
  17. There's going to be a second wave.
  18. Because they're nubs. Or it just got overlooked.
  19. It's definitely a prototype. It's a Maxilos mask with bits from Chirox's mask stuck onto it.
  20. Dibs?
  21. Wow. Are there that many multiples of others, too? And I didn't get any. :[
  22. How many of them are there, though?
  23. Well, there's already the Gateway of the Squid and the Portal which both use the keys, though in slightly different ways. It's not impossible, and rather likely since LEGO has put at least one key in pretty much every set and there's only been two places where they've been used. And maybe their vehicles would require a certain combination of turns to activate that the Atlanteans have forgotten because they can't read the ancient writing on them. I don't know why you would say such a thing.
  24. It's possible that the keys are used in Atlantis, too. Maybe to open secret treasure troves or operate magikal vehicles or something. Of course, I'm curious what treasure, if any is going to be included in the sets. Gold fish sound interesting, though a silver or gold shark might be more interesting.
  25. Well that's kinda dumb. There could've at least been a more fitting method for some of them. :|
