It could be either. On one hand, all the armor attachments we know about are ball joints. On the other hand, some of the mid-length and longer limb pieces may have pin or axle holes in them.
-
Unfortunately, most of my yellow pieces are either SYSTEM or they're TECHNIC beams. I don't have many yellow pieces that'd work well as armor, and I didn't want to use Keet since that would make the scheme worse. It'd be great if I had the Drop Ship, and I'd definitely find a use for those pieces. I have the yellow Jetrax, which comes with three.

Considering the other new action theme this year is about flying mummies, 'historical accuracy' shouldn't be part of the criteria at all.
-
I had figured it was going to be used as a Baterra model.
-
Part of BZP's BBCC rules is that entries have to be at least 75% TECHNIC/BIONICLE pieces and at most 25% SYSTEM.
-
1 2 3 This was originally planned as a BBCC 60 entry but that was abandoned quickly as there was no way to make it reach the 75/25 ratio. BZP topic.

1 2 He has wepon. Can use separate or together. Here's a close-up. Gallery BZP topic.

I love this theme so much. What's that human-looking guy in the temple, though? Statue? Actual human? Physical god?

So I managed a revamp without breaking any or many pieces. Dunno if or when I'll post it anywhere.
-
By upgrade I meant somewhere between a modification and revamp, since I wasn't quite sure which it would be And most of my long black sockets are either post-08 or off being used somewhere else. :| But I also sort of want the silver pieces and I don't really want the lime pieces and I don't like Breez that much and oh I don't know I'll flip a coin or something.
-
I know the Ben 10 pieces are solid, and I greatly look forward to the newer new socket pieces of next year. I wasn't talking about Meltdown's pieces so much as all my other pieces. Yeah, the reason I can't decide is because I want Bulk's black limb pieces and stuff.

Nah, I grabbed that early on along with the quad-clip that I thought was new and that small ball-jointed thing. Then once I decided to scan through all the tabs I decided to limit myself. Anyway, does anyone have the image of the set with the dragon in it? I want to figure out how the head is built.
-
So I got Meltdown. He's pretty okay. I like the parts. And I have plans to upgrade him much. Or at least I would if I wasn't afraid of my parts shattering. I'm probably also going to get a hero a some point. Currently it's a toss-up between Bulk and Stormer. Opinions?
-
I feel like I just came into an entirely new thread, because we've been talking about the fact that the armor connects via ball joint for at least two weeks. Yes, they're 2011 pieces. That's why I added them. The clip looks different than the usual clips, being more round and looking a bit more shallow.
-
oic I wasn't, just ones from the themes that are relevant to my interests.
-
Also, the dragon's head and jaw pieces appear to be in there, as well as that odd curved propeller-blade-like triangular panel labeled "wing", which might be related to this theme. I don't mind that the skeleton arms have the same clip directions because the arm is shorter and therefore less awkward.

Since this is srs business now I also added a couple that were BZPM'd to me a while ago that I forgot about, and we're up to 26. Does that mean we're two over or what? No wait scratch that we're still missing the pic for one. THE HUNT CONTINUES(?)

I get what you're saying, and I think it's cool to have helmet attachments too, but I have to go with Refia and say that wow are some of them ugly.
-
I think this is a good thing. To me it makes more sense to have a totally opaque head than a totally transparent head. Though trans-eyes are always cool. We were probably too focused on the other aspects like new pieces and glorious weapons to give much thought to head color. The pics make the heads seem a bit too tall, though, but I won't pass final judgement until I see more pics.

It's sort of ironic that two of the sets you mentioned are Atlantis sets. Remember when the first pictures of Atlantis surfaced? It was just a bunch of red vehicles and a gate thing. Nowhere near the cream of the crop that came out later in the year. Heck, the first Atlantis pic we got was of the failtrike. Definitely not a good representation of the quality of the other sets.

I like this site.
-
Well it did have some pretty nice vectors of a ninja, some weapons, and a skeleton silhouette.
-
Should be fine, since it's on the actual LEGO site. Here it is. So yeah, no fancy motors or anything. Just a thumb and index finger (from opposite hands, though).

Here's what I counted: Stormer (31 pieces): Evo (31 pieces): Nex (31 pieces): Surge (30 pieces): Breez (29 pieces): Furno (30 pieces):

What's your inventory list for each? Are you making sure to count the spikes, lightsaber blades, and tubes? Also, are you counting the feet as a foot piece + standard singe socket? Because I think it's just one piece. I hope that the head and helmet base aren't fused, because that would remove sooo much use for them.
