I actually just made this decision the other day, so I will offer you my advice. I really think the Imperial fort is just more versatile, it offers that dock function which is great and not often scene but my favorite part is that it can be easily merged into a castle theme or it could easily stay Pirate. I think it's great, really versatile and my personal favorite and probobly only buy from the new Pirate line.

Thank you very much, both of you. The past couple days it has been in and out of my mind, I really like the set but I'm not sure I have a place for it, I think by Christmas though, I can make some room, because it really is just a great set! There are multiple possibilites that are great and could be used, and I think it could be fitted for different things. It doesn't particularly go with my other sets but that doesn't mean I can't build one then dis-asemble then build another one, so I think I still would like to get it, and thanks for all the help, and by the way I am not a town collector at all unfortunately, though I do admire those with giant cites that are completly decked out.

found on Target.com The AAT has a detachable speeder? Where, I don't see it...I wonder if it is just a Target typo or if its really there, that would be cool. Thanks for that Jimbo Jones!

Are you a big or little picture person
Matteo Kenobi replied to I Scream Clone's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Definitly little picture person. When building sets I do my best to stay foucsed to the task at hand, that doesn't mean I don't look froward to sections of the build though. However when I do MOCs im pretty weird, I usually have a somewhat idea of what I want to do, shape, size, color whatever but no real details plotted out. So I am definitly a little picture person there to, just planning as I go. -
4996 Beach House I am considering buying this, and would really like to know some thoughts on it. I don't have any creator, or I may have one old one actually, but regardless it would be out of place in my set up but i fel it is a really cool set and would be fun to do a lot of things with it. So thoughts on it would be nice...what is it running against? I guess the V-19 torrent, though it is possible to get both.

No I really doubt they are making that switch, however if they are doing anything with yellow heads it will only be in the anniversery sets.

So from the Euro prices I am gonna make a pest guess at USA prices Bps: $10 no change Hyena droid bomber: Probobly $20 but maybe higher Ahsokas Starfighter: $30 is my best guess Vaders Tie: $20 Could be higher but this is what I think AAT: $40 (I hope) but most likely $50 RAS: $50 (I hope) but most likely $60

wow that certainly is impressive well done!! Looks great, the lego aspect and the idea of it, makes me want to do something like that, although i only have 14 years under my belt =] By the way the use of SNOT there is great!!

If there is another battlepack it will most lilkely be OT, see the pattern with the BPs? PT OT PT so far, I imagine OT is next. If Magna Guards come in anything it will be in the Seperatist Shuttle I would think.

haha thanks I guess I jumped the gun there

I fear you may be right, however if there is no interior that could be a make or break for this piece. However I fail to see why there would be, you see that were troops would be held that there are hinges so I imagine it can at least hold 2 on each side. It appears that only time will tell though. If this is true this is a horrible day for Star Wars fans, wow that is sad if these prices are real. $55 for Ahsokas starfighter, that seems obsurd.

Haha that's hilarious I wouldn't be suprisdee if it fell off a ship, but if they started landing on other major beaches that would be hilarious and I would deam that a pulbicity stund

Well would you look at that, great find! Are there any ideas on how many Clones the shuttle can hold? How did you find this ADHO15? Are there pictures of the other 09' sets that we can zoom in on?

Wow...that is...wow I have to say my favorite part of this thing is that how the castle has a real interior, there are buildings inside the castle walls. That is how it really should be and to say you nailed that would be a complete understatement. This is flawless, that is the fact of it. Well done, this isn't an attempt, it's a master peice!

Well isn't that just perfect! Looks great, I love it! Hopefully TLC will do something like this, great find and great design!

Thats very interesting news, thank you Light Light!! Corporate Alliance Tank Droid Oh joy do we really need another one of these things? I wasn't exactly ecstatic when we got it the first time and I think this is a really unneccacry remake. I would rather get a Crab Droid or something as opposed to this. Echo Base - Hmm, this is good, seems like we might be getting a bit of an interior as opposed to a gate. I am wondering how Taun Tauns will fit into this, maybe some sort of Taun Taun cage or something, sounds cool though! Venator Class-Republic Attack Cruiser - Sounds awesome as before, can't wait to hear more about this! Separatists Shuttle - Like I said before, sounds like the equivilent to Dooku's Solar Sailor, which is good, I am interested to see what the Design of this is like. Endor Battle Playset - It's been in every Rumor list for as long as I can remember, can't wait. Y-Wing - The Clone Wars Y wing will probobly be a higher price then the other one, seeing how it is fuller compared to the Rebel one, hopefully it will come with Clone Pilots and not Anikan and Ahsoka.

Well in the show the cockpit holds two, so hopefully it does here as well. It does look like it though.
-
Wow every aspect of that is great! The way the ride was designed and the movie itself, really creative!! Definite favorite
-
Wow looks great! Love it!! You really have made the most of the space here, it looks great, well done!
-
Great review, well done for sure!! I love these reviews of old set, and this one is especially unique. I must agree with you the color scheme is magnificent. Makes me want to go to ebay and buy it now! To bad for Spongebob though, he got in with a real bad crowd...
-
Hmm, that is a great idea, thanks for that. Hopefully that will be able to simplify building things.

Wow looks great!!I love how it has that statue come to life look! The hand looks great, as does the fact that it is decked out in moss, well done!

Wow this certainly is a great sorting system your developing here. The sorting system I am currently using is just so awful its not even funny. I have an 6 draw file cabinent that I used in my locker at school for a while. So I have 8 colors sorted in those drawers, White, Black, Yellow, Blue, Grey and red alll sorted randomly, and then I have all my misc. crap on the floor around it. So I am actually hoping to get things further sorted in much smaller drawers that I can easily stack, since my collection is on the smaller side (not as in small but small compared to others) so I think the color system will work fine once divided into plates/bricks/other hopefully it won't be to much of a problem. But keep doing the blog man, I think we all want to see how this turns out

Wow that is smaller than I thought, that isn't neccisarily a bad thing though. For those who want immense detail on the Tie there is the UCS version and this one is super simplified yet still maintains the shape, and it's pretty much guranteed to be $20 now
