Hi everyone, @JopieK the technique you used looks very intresting as I dont have space on my layout to put motors too close to the track. Do you mind if I try using it? Either way have fun at LEGOWorld. Thanks, CB

@ Space2310, I tip my hat to you fine sir. This is really impressive, too much detail to congratulate you on. Really superb . Any chance of a video of it working without a train? Thanks, CB

Epic!!! I love all of it, I think that the buildings are truly awesome with so much details. You have made my day . Thanks,CB

flat_four - I know what you mean about the hand rails, I personaly am addiced to using flexi tube now and use it for alot of things like this. I was also intrested about, if you where going to make the ladders that go to the top? Good luck with the model anyway. Thanks, CB

Thanks for that, it was a very interesting read (as always). I especialy liked the End of the line buffer instructions, do you mind if I use it on my layout? Cant wait for the next one (Is that too early?) Thanks, CB

Hi, This is a very nice wagon, I do like the snot. Its good to see more british wagons. I think for the handrails you may have to use one of these or get flexi tube and minifig hands. Either way keep up the good work. Thanks, CB

Hi, I would like to say welcome to eurobricks and what an impressive first post. The sheer size is very nice and i love the windows and stairs. I also like the mix but not over use of grey and bley. But in my opinion the best bit is the ruin function/ability it just makes it have that real look. I hope to see more from you Fonzy. Thanks, CB

Hi eurobrickers, I think all beta testers (Yeah I was a beta tester)would agree with me that LU is an epic game and all founders will soon (if not already) find that out. So after two months of almost constant playing I decided to make these figs. I hope you like them. If you don't know what they look like you can see them here. Engineer. I like this one alot as my first faction was assembly. I would appreciate suggesgions on the shoulder pads/armor as the one I gave it looks to big and bulky. Buccaneer. This is the new one as legos original that had the jacket has been changed to a worse version. I only made this version as it is easier to make. Space marauder. This is the one I hate the most as it is guite hard to do and just looks ugly. But I do really like the gun I made. Samurai. I like this one the best as I love samurai and it was easy to make. The sentinal was my second favourite faction (Its a shame few people like it) and sentinal is a lot better than knight(take that as a hint all you founders). Bonus pic. The troops charging for battle. Hope you liked them coments and suggestions welcome. I intend to make some models to with them like the fortress tower for engineer(you may have seen a little bit it the last picture?) and other related things such as animals, but as I dont have the live game I cant get any referance pictures. So if anyone has any models they would like to share it would be greatly appreciated. Brickshelf folder here Thanks, CB (or Mightyslickpancake,Mightyslickpancakes and Mightyslickpancakez in beta)

custom job or a personal request?
MightySlickPancake replied to cusaeng's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Hi. I cant think of any printed t-shirts off the top of my head but if you wanted a minifig sized coat I would recomend this from MMCB or one of his other long coat designs. Although I am not sure what head and hair piece would suit best him best, I reccomend some of these in white or grey. As for yourself I think a plain white shirt, dark grey trousers and (If you want it to look like in this picture) these. I apologise that i couldnt help you with the heads of the minifigs. Hope this helped all the same. Thanks, CB -

I was looking at a few events that were on the brickish association's website and at Aldershot Shopfest I found these pictures - These are not my pictures or my model, just a good reference. http://www.flickr.com/photos/doctorsinister/4758402584/in/set-72157624289182651/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/doctorsinister/4758402678/in/set-72157624289182651/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/doctorsinister/4757764149/in/set-72157624289182651/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/doctorsinister/4757764255/in/set-72157624289182651/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/whoward69/4758903202/in/set-72157624290250535/ Hope this helped. Hey starwars fans, After I finished my previous Hoth moc I felt that it looked unfinished so I decided to add a new section. In this new part I didnt want to have a snowspeeder or some thing like that but I did want an at-at. I immediately realised that there wouldnt be space to put it so I did the next best thing, The burnt head of an at-at after the rebels took it down with the tow cables. I also wanted a place for Lord Vader to go, so he is following the troops into battle. I have talked for too long so here it is. The whole thing. I dont want to focus on the rebels section as only the turret has changed and you can see it Here andHere The scout going in for the kill, Thanks to Brickdoctor for the speeder design. Now my favourite bit, the glow in the dark ice pond!! I used 7 glow in the dark tiles with clear plates on top to give depth to the ice. Some pieces are on different levels to also improve how it looks I still dont know why I put this here but I still love it, so it stays! The new bit. "but wait" I hear you cry "that dosnt look like an At-At"! it is supposed to be a badly damaged AT-AT with minimal detail if any. The flat tiles are where supposed to be compacted snow as the head slid on the floor, I dont think it worked that well. "Ah S*** cried the the officer as he realised what just happened" greebling on the bottom. Thanks for looking, I hope you like it. My brickshelf gallery old version and new version, I recomend that you look at both folders to get a better idea of the whole thing. Comments and suggestions welcome. "Oh MY G" were the last words echo base got from the front. Thanks, CB

Star Wars: The Old Republic Lego
MightySlickPancake replied to Adam the Ant's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I would hope that they do, but as lego are focusing on the clone wars more than anything else (canon or non-canon)and as that can be watched by more people than would have the game it would be less accessible to children. So it would be unlikely , but i do hope so. Answering your question about mocs, I may build something based on the game most likely from these 2 trailers Deceived and Hope. Thanks, cb -
There are so many things I want But i really want a; EpIII battle pack with, 3Galactic Marines and Commander Bacara (with the skirt things, not sure what they are called) Also a bp with;Commander Neyo, 2 AT-RT scouts and a Clone paratrooper Finaly a new AT-RT with a proper AT-RT scout. These are my wishes but probably will never come true. What could happen is a mando bp in with each in different colours likehere. Although I am very worried about getting the same things again like loads of clone wars phase1 sets. All of this is my opinion and wishes. Thanks, CB

I think I must choose 10212 UCS Imperial Shuttle, I havent got it and may never get it but it looks awsome. Otherwise I would have said 8084 Snowtrooper BP because I love snow troopers. Thanks, CB
-
Wow 'Piotr' you should be proud thats amazing. The curved roof is awsome. It looks great from all angles, I even think that you lego design looks better than the real thing. Thanks, CB

@'sok117 Icon' there is one in my brickshelf folder, but I thnk you mean this? It really isnt my best I just threw it together for the picture and I will make a new one soon. hope this helps. Thanks, CB

Thanks guys I am not sure myself why I put the glowing pieces in, but it did look cool. So many nice comments for my first starwars moc . I forgot to show what I ment when I said it was modular. here are two pics explaining. Thanks, CB

Before I start I need to say thanks to Brickdoctor for the speeder design and to marshal_banana for the inspiration of the base design. If either of you dont want me to use these designs I apologise, I thought I should give credit first. (updated) Hey starwars fans, After I finished my previous Hoth moc I felt that it looked unfinished so I decided to add a new section. So here it is. Now the moc. I wanted to make a minifig display that looked nice but was small. I also wanted to make it modular(ish) so more sections could be added. "There is too many of them, send reinforcements" I tried to make the rebels section WW1 like with trench design and a dugout. "Go,Go,Go,"..."Remember, no prisoners"! Now my favourite bit, the glow in the dark ice pond!! I used 7 glow in the dark tiles with clear plates on top to give depth to the ice. Some pieces are on different levels to also improve how it looks. Normal light. Dark but with a small amount of light. Complete darkness. The scout going in for the kill, Thanks to Brickdoctor for the speeder design. Lord Vader has arrived. I know the at-st pilots shouldn't be there but i dont have any other appropriate figs. Its all over Thanks for looking, I hope you like it. My brickshelf gallery old version and new version, I recomend that you look at both folders to get a better idea of the whole thing. I do intend to make more sections and if i do what should they be? Comments and suggestions welcome. "Oh MY G" were the last words echo base got from the front. Thanks, CB P.S. There were scout troopers on hoth as seen here.

MightySlickPancake replied to MightySlickPancake's topic in LEGO Licensed
@ Blondie-Wan, all I ment was not that interesting to make loads of pictures about as we all know what it looks like. I didnt mean I hate them I adore them and good for loads of space mocs. I agree you need loads of these. Hope I cleared up my rushed review for you Thanks, CB -
Review: 30070 - Toy Story promo Set Title: Alien Space Ship Set: 30070 Theme: Toy Story Pieces: 25(not including minifig) Minifigures: 1 Year of Release: 2010 Price at Release: £2.99 (free with Tesco promotional offer) Brickset: http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=30070-1 The review It looks like an average polybag(I think thats what you call it) not much interesting here. Front of the bag. Nothing at all Toy Story like on the back. Woody and Buzz in the corner of the bag. Closer picture of the set. The first instrucions page. Back page of the instrucions showing some advertising of other sets. "Now, what can i do with this pile of bricks?" "Ahh, my head" The alien fig. Not that intersting. More shots. Spares. Just two tiles, a cheeser and a lever. Fits well with other sets. RATINGS Parts: 4/10 - nice to get free(ish) stuff but not much here. Design: 3/10 - I know its only small but a bit more inventiveness please TLG. Minifigures: 10/10 - Yay, cant have too many aliens. Playability: 5/10 - All its got is the swoosh factor. Price: 7/10 - Too much for a little set. Overall: 8/10 - I love legos promos and want more especially Toy Story. Thanks for reading hope you enjoyed it. "Look sir, I am only arresting you on suspiction of being green" Until next time, CB
