Feeling slightly brave, Annienal decides to put her diplomacy skills to work to answer a question. "Um, excuse me, but if you would kindly tell me why your worried about this cat? I noticed some of you are a little nervous around her, and I can relate to that."
-
Not where I live, but I remember going up to a model train show farther north with my grandfather for the weekend and we came to a roundabout. I'm pretty sure I remember him saying something about the "blasted roundabout" and how much he hated them.

I thought the video was fine. It presents its facts and uses Lego to help visualize them. The stop motion was rather decent although the build was limited, which I can understand why. The creator of the video is trying to get his point across as easily as possible, so using simple techniques helps by not being distracting. I think if anything the inclusion of Lego is used to help people understand what it's trying to say.

"Punii, look. The reason I want you back is incase something happens I can use you to help others get up and rebound back. I ain't letting you get hurt, or anyone else in this group. As much as I want Lawrence dead, I need him if I'm getting my husband back. You're a valuable asset to this team, and don't let anyone tell you differently." Karie nodded affirmatively to Punii. She still felt down, but trying to give some encouragement to Punii helped. "I'll tell you what to do once everyone else decides. You're kind of our wild card at the moment, and I like having that. For the time being, get behind someone with a shield, like Lawrence or Em." She looks at her eye-patched friend worryingly. Taking a deep breath, she spoke to the party. "Everyone, spread out and keep your hits focused on the Oculoids. We can take a free hit from one of the Proggs, preferably B, so don't worry if we don't target him. And please stay back. Let's not waste all our essences immediately, please." She felt some confidence growing in her. "How does it feel getting a taste of your own medicine!" Karie barks at the Oculoids, but that turns to discomfort as she sees her duplicate react. She feels a churning sensation in her stomach. "I can't deal with this! Someone put this other me down!" Battle Order Mortimer Boomingham Erdathcath Jeaux Johon Erdathcath Punii >Karie heals the party member with the lowest health. Otherwise she casts Scroll of Frailty on Progg Executioner B. I'll probably revise this as we go along, bit Mortimer/Em and Boomers are going to be going first no matter what. Also, stay in the back row. If you've got water weapons or earth weapons, or heck, both, use them against the Oculoids or the Doppels. Light, fire, or ice weapons against the Proggs. I can take a whack at one of the Proggs if need be, but I'd prefer sticking to healing incase we need one.

Annienal coughs quietly into a handkerchief at the back of the party, folding the cloth and placing it into a pouch on her belt. "Um, I know my input probably isn't the most important, but maybe we could just ask to have an audience with the two people we know are in the keep? Perhaps we come to a diplomatic solution? Or maybe that's just me trying to be overtly positive..." She looked about the menacing edifice, hoping Docken would eventually answer her question on the Voice in the Sky. "Mr. Barkley, may I ask why you assume they have no elites? My instructors told me to expect the unexpected and be alert at all times. if this is there keep, surely elites wouldn't be too far behind, right?"
-
"Punii, your going to do me a favour and stay back. I should have everything under control." "I'm going to shut you up permanently in a few minutes, so if you got anything else you'd like to say, do it now before you become another stain on my cloak!" Battle Order Mortimer Boomingham Erdathcath Jeaux Johon Erdathcath >Punii does nothing >Karie heals the party member with the lowest health or revives the first knocked out hero. Otherwise she casts Scroll of Frailty on Progg Executioner B. Considering what we've got going on this battle, the hexed enemies will hurt their allies, and the lone Executioner isn't doing too much. Let's see how this goes!
-
Karie felt a twinge of disgust as she saw herself acting like a clingy ditz. Her powers burned the inside of her body, something that made watching herself walk around with a lazy glaze. She clutched her paper doll. "Avoid the three I've got hexed here, they'll do our job for us. Don't let up!" I'll have a round and an action up tomorrow.

Alright, I'm going to talk about The Legend of Korra season 3, so for those of you who haven't seen it yet, this is your warning before I pull the train into Spoiler City. The previous season left a lot to be desired for me. It was poorly paced, retracted Korra's character, and in general left me with more questions than answers. I still enjoyed it, but it wasn't really clicking with me. The season squandered around with Varrick, who while enjoyable basically hijacked the show for half the season in a plot that was underdeveloped and confusing, and the main plot lacked a good villain. It was also very safe for the writers to go through the season's story the way they did. I enjoyed the stuff in the spirit world and with Avatar Wan immensely, but season two was more of a miss than a hit for me. I enjoy it enough to own it on Blu-Ray, but it's heavily flawed. Season 3 was an exact opposite. This season was intense, character driven, and it took risks. The story's tone progressed well from swashbuckling action to an intense political thriller that gives Game of Thrones a run for its money. I won't delve too much on character, since we'd be here all day, but I want to officially give Asami special notice: here's a character who could've sucked, yet the writers managed to pull of the sophisticated young woman vibe and pull it off. She's probably my favourite character in the show, and I love seeing her interactions with others, particularly this season despite slightly less presence. These characters suddenly became people again, people I began to care about immensely, so when "Long Live the Queen" aired, it was not only a shock to see the writers kill of a character like the Earth Queen on screen, it was opening the flood gates to the possibility that anyone could die in the upcoming episodes. In fact, the season as a whole has some pretty intense stuff going on. I was genuinely on the edge of my seat a lot whenever Zaheer would show up, since he had presence, something Unaloq lacked. That and the Earth Queen's death was really quite disturbing, and the fact Nickelodeon was okay airing it was something I wasn't expecting. As a whole, the plot was slow, but it always kept me engaged. I never felt the plot dragged at any particular time. It played it's cards well, and knew when to surprise it's audience. The finale was a hell of a thing. It really was one of the best endings to a season I've seen in a while. It's bittersweet ending with Jinora becoming an Air Bending master and gaining her tattoos was a wonderfully triumphant moment, and you genuinely feel proud for the character, but that feeling of pride fades as the camera pans to an injured Korra in a wheelchair crying silently, ending the season on that image. The Air Nation has returned, but Ba Sing Sei burns, the Earth Kingdom is in disarray, and the Avatar is temporarily out of commission. It's a dark place to end the season, and an excellent place to pick up season 4. My interest and anticipation for this show was rejuvenated thanks to the excellent story, characters, and all around great production values on display here. Korra season 3 was amazing, and that really just sums my thoughts up. It was amazing. -

OOC: If need be, I'll take temporary Party Leader position. Also, do enemy passives and specials only affect the party members engaged with enemies in their flank, or all party members? Karie curses under her breath. "We should get rid of the Pyroloids and the Doppels ASAP. The Proggs are dangerous as all hell, so we should avoid having no more than one person on them to avoid them doing anything nasty. I do have a few neutralizers and Phoenix Essence on me should push come to shove, but I don't want us all suddenly burned and doomed, so pace this evenly, and if this turns south, we can smoke it." Karie slipping into the position of leader felt natural. She'd done this enough times to feel comfortable enough, but the strength of her foe worried her. Battle Order: Mortimer Boomingham >Erdathcath vs. Progg Executioner B Jeaux >Johon >Erdathcath vs. Pyroloid D >Punii vs. Pyroloid A >Karie strikes Pyroloid B unless anyone is knocked out or takes damage, in which case Karie uses a Phoenix Essence on the first person knocked out, or heals the person with the least amount of health (excluding her)
-
Karie, switching to her Spring Staff, strikes Pyroloid B from the back row. "Lawrence, if you let me simply look around we wouldn't be in this situation!"

"Don't remind me." Karie bluntly replies, trying to get her mind off of potentially losing the fight.
-
"Um, if you could wait up, I'm still waiting to finish my deal with Mr. Knickers here." Annienal really didn't want to be left alone in the dream world.
-
Karie allowed her hand to become engulfed in the Oculoid ink wrapped around her arm. This wasn't her. This being reflecting her wasn't even real; a poor soul brainwashed and experimented on out of it's own free will, something she realized under the lighthouse. "He's not votre mari."
-
"Well, okay then, I guess that sounds fair." Annienal puts the catnip in her hand to allow Knickers' to feed off it.
-
Karie felt slightly unnerved seeing herself next to herself, and to hear something so scripted come out of her mouth. "I don't quite understand why you'd attempt to mimic me of all people." "Ha ha. Your humour is so drool." Karie states drily.
-
"Um, Mr. Knickers, would you be willing to sell one of your Phoenix Essences for 45 gold?" She says, scratching him behind the ear affectionately.
-
Annienal looks timidly at the ranger, Francis she believed his name was. "Um... y-yes... why?"
-
The thought of locking Lawrence in the room to suffer crossed Karie's mind, but as much as she wanted to... "What concern is my name to you?" She addressed the Devil.
-
Annienal hesitantly moves closer to the cat to pet it. She thought the feline was rather cute, but was a little worried it would try and attack her like the rest of these dream warriors. "Um, is there any spot in particular you want to be pet?"
-
Finished with combat, Annienal returns to a more proper position. She looks to Bartholomew sheepishly. "Um, Mr. Docken, sir? I was wondering if you'd tell me more about this Voice in the Sky? Since I'm not all familiar with this... voice. I can, um... take the Field Rations if no one else wants them. I'm used to eating that kind of stuff."
-
Karie grimaces silently, looking towards the inky splotches on the ground. She smothers her tattooed hand and arm in Seerus's blood before opening the door.
-
Too nervous to even notice or care Lawrence's comment, Karie examines the crematorium door with her magnifying glass.
