Arrogant Prick (Alexandre)- Chrysalis Damages the target for 90 damage, ignoring SP, also stealing a randomly equipped item (which will be dropped when Chrysalis is defeated or flees). Chrysalis is then stunned. Spellblade Spin (Hoke)- Chrysalis damages the party 2 to twelve times, determined by two additional die rolls, with the attack dealing damage equal to her level. The damage is divided as equally as possible, starting with the targeting hero, and moving down the list. Petit Breath (Thormanil)- Transforming into a dragon/human hybrid, Chyrsalis deals damage to two members of the party for 90 damage. Mug (Lind)- Chrysalis strikes each opponent for damage equal to their level and steals money off them equal to their level. The gold is non-retrievable. Passive Special: Impersonator- At the end of each round and before the beginning of the first round, the changeling chooses a random hero to impersonate in the party. "It's alright, I understand." As Masson went to confront Knox, Karie questioned Masson's remark. Youth... was she ready? Karie takes out her magnifying glass and scans the horizon for the Citadel, and the village.

Karie moves closer to her boyfriend, and away from the party. She could deal with Knox shortly. Consoling her husband was a more important priority. Her voice is tender and soft, herself clearly upset. "Masson, don't say that. It was my mistake for not telling you in person, and I feel horrible for not telling you sooner. Do you remember what you offered me, back when I first joined, and you kissed me for the first time? A family. Something I'd been missing for what felt like an eternity. This isn't your fault honey; you need to stop blaming yourself. I know we started off awkwardly, but dwelling in the past never helped anyone. It never really helped me..." Karie's mind meanders back to Cliff. She wonders if he'd approve of her actions with Masson. What was she thinking, of course he would! "Masson, I'm scared for what's to come when we enter the Citadel... but we're a couple now. We can face this together. A loud ruckus emanates from downstairs! Listening, it appears to be coming from the kitchen! Could the burglars already of entered the house? The party would find out soon, as... ~THE CONTINUOUS BATTLE STRIKES AGAIN!~ ~ You are engaged in one, continuous battle with Alfendi Lupine and his gang. Basically, everything you do will be played out in turns and rounds. ~ You will gain experience for every group of enemies defeated, following the normal rules of scaled level-up. Enemy groups will be colour coded. If an enemy group flees the manor, and at least one enemy is defeated, experience will still be rewarded. ~ You may move through the rooms during the battle, but switching rooms costs a turn. Enemies may move with you, spending their free hit in the process. The party is allowed to split up, with some fighting in one room and some in another. You must move to an adjacent room, and you can only access rooms that are connected by doors. ~ Investigating something costs a turn, as well. If you find an item, it will be added to your inventory. There are many secrets to find, and some enemies may be hiding as well, so you need to investigate the surroundings (hopefully portrayed in pictures, to help you out). ~ When an enemy is defeated, the hero who dealt the final blow will get the dropped items. Items can be traded like in the normal rules, by both the giver and the recipient spending a turn. You may trade as many items as you like during the turn, so use this to your advantage. ~ Because the battle won't end before morning, special rules apply to job traits and positive effects. ~ Job traits: Flee and Track Down all cost a turn to use. Healing and Spellcasting do not work, instead you need to do them as battle actions (casting a spell on an inanimate object and rolling 5 or 6 will result in a miss). Natural Respite regains one health per turn. ~ Positive effects last for 10 rounds before they need to be reapplied. Negative effects will last as depicted in the rules. ~ If a hero is knocked out, they will remain in the room it happened in until they are revived. They will not gain experience from the enemies defeated while unconscious. Petrified enemies cannot move, either, but they will gain experience (although I doubt we'll be dealing with petrified...) ~ If the party or a hero flees, they will find themselves in the foyer and still in battle. ~ The battle ends on the 35 round. If a member of the party isn't in the Cellar by the 35 round, the quest fails. ~ Talking is free, and so is speech based Job traits, so you can speak with the other party members or the enemies during the battle. Annienal walks into the marketplace, feeling overwhelmed by the amount of vendors and other sellers. She makes her way to the gnome and pulls out her meagre amount of coins. "Excuse me, um, Mr. gnome? How much is a bedroll?" She pays five gold for the bedroll, leaving her with a measly five gold. 5-10=5 gold. Annienal then leaves the marketplace, feeling slightly relieved as she does so.

"I guess that sounds like sound advice. I believe I should get going, though. I really ought to purchase some things from the Market... and other things. Thank you for your time, um... Mr. Dyric." She gets up, grabs her things, and begins to head outside, but before she does she notices the quest board. Noticing only one quest available, Annienal signs up for Quest 109: Dream Scape before heading out.

"It's okay, I didn't get along with a lot of the students at the college I was at. Then again, I really didn't make any attempts to talk to anyone. It's good to hear the hall's a friendly place. Anyone I should avoid? I'm really not looking for a fight." She replies nervously.

Annienal blushes as she's complimented by Dyric. She still felt intimidated by him, but she was like that with just about everyone. "Oh, I didn't realize this Skrall was a hero. I'm sorry little girl, I have no real issue with the ogre. Sorry." She turns away from the little girl and Mr. Sanders and tries to find words to speak to Dyric. "So... um... hi, Dyric. Sorry, I'm not very good when it comes to talking to new people... or friends to be honest." She says hesitantly.

Annienal feels confused as the young girl goes on about the ogre, even more after she swears her bears eyes gleamed purple. "Can I ask why you want to kill this Skrull? You seem awfully convinced about killing him. And my weapon is a halbred, just so you know." Annienal turns to the hooded man, looking intimidated by his garb and his weaponry. "Um, excuse me, can you tell me why this little girl wants this ogre dead? My name's... my name's Annienal." She murmurs her name to the assassin.
