  1. I find this MOC very nice, my favorite part is probably all the random things in the river. The bridge over it was also well made, but that's not saying everything else wasn't! Other things that I'll praise are the scenery, the peasants, and the inn thing. My only suggestion is that you should have used blue instead of red, in my opinion. Since you are using Crown Knights as the guards.
  2. Looks good, and I missed the Mystery Castle which was a darn shame. Anyways, count me in on this.
  3. Very nice looking, but for once I think a pirate will actually beat the ninja at the eating contest. You just can't eat through masks, silly ninjas. Hooray for me not being completely biased. I find this vignette very nice, there's a good amount of scenery and the hot dogs (they are hot dogs, right?) look great too. Once again, good job.
  4. I enjoyed all of them, though I think the man and woman could use different shirts, plus the man could be less blue. Also, as stated by someone else, I think the man should have another face. Give him a scruffy beard! Overall, I think I like the old man the best. You should put these to work on something.
  5. Though I barely listen to any of the bands, I will have to say Evanescence is my favorite out of all of them. I like Bring Me to Life, and I've listened to a couple of others but can't remember their names. For the other bands, I've listened to Linkin Park I'm pretty sure, and never heard a song from Disturbed.
  6. I suppose that we learned about the pains of not having the sets that we were looking forward too. But the reason to complain about it is that it would be cheaper if it was officially released in America, at least that's my input. If TLC keeps true to this message, then I'll take a peak at the pictures of the contents and see if its worth buying on Ebay.
  7. I come to a grand total of four clones, but that's including Fox and Cody unfortunately. They're a fun little squad that rides in the Gunship. Like others have said, the number of my soldiers will rise when the battle pack comes out. Well, that also includes the other new sets that are coming out in 2009, along with the tank that isn't out in the US yet. On the side note, I do believe that he should not have had to order a clone trooper, but he was planning on paying for it if he was asked. If he really planned on stealing, he would have probably put it under missing from the purchase.
  8. Nice review, to start off. You got all the details someone could possibly need, in my opinion at least. I do enjoy this set as well, and I've bought only one to keep my minifigs as unique as possible. Despite my personal preference, I still find this a nice army builder. Good amount of minifigs for the price, as mentioned earlier, with each being different from the other. Though I would like the catapult manager to be armed with at least something, I still feel that he can just flee if he's ever in trouble. He's a good guy to use for the Castle gimmics if you have it. One more small comment. I also love those domed helmets, even if they aren't actually new. My favorite of them all, being followed up by the racer helmet.
  9. Well this is quite disappointing, and I know I haven't logged in or posted in a while, but this was important enough I suppose. Being a collector of Castle sets, I had to buy this, and was looking forward to counting down till Christmas. This also relates to the Good Wizard, who is much cheaper in that set then the giant monster chess set (I know I said I'm a collector, but I'll probably pass on that one). Like other people said, hopefully they will change their mind. And I am also an American. Likewise to others, its pretty annoying that people need to be warned in order to not be able to sue. Even if its common sense that something should not be done. Things like wet floor signs are probably the only things that are reasonable to sue over if they aren't there.
  10. Hm, I think I may have been a little confusing with the way I mentioned MOCs. I barely have made any, and most of them are just using pieces from one set, and I was hoping to make something more grand. The only MOC I can really remember making is a drop pod out of the Imperial Dropship. I really don't like the design of the ship at all. So basing that on my answer, you can tell that I don't have a Brickshelf, unfortunately.
  11. Actually, that was more of a joke, but it would be fun for me to see Lego forms of them. It would be cool if there was a Lego tabletop game... though there already is things like Brikwars, and I'm sure those count. Basically, it was just a joke anyways, but the rest was serious.
  12. Perhaps they should make a Lego Clone Wars comprising of all th episodes and the movie... the ultimate Lego Star Wars game. Meh, in all seriousness, I think they should move on to other games. (though I would like to see Lego: The Force Unleashed. Euphoria with Lego) I would like to see an RPG or an RTS that you could do in the Castle Theme. For the RTS I would love to see it in Total War style. It would be cool to allow us to put MOCs into those games. Perhaps they should make a game where you have complete free roam and can make whatever you want. Oh but wait, then no one would buy the actual sets. Well, maybe people who want to have the thrill of building it on their own brick by brick in real life. Anyways, that's my input.
  13. I'm quite sure this hasn't been mentioned yet, but I would actually enjoy seeing the return of the Ninja theme. Man, I really should have gotten those sets back then. Oh well, too bad for me. Also, I would actually enjoy having more outpost like things for Star Wars. Where are my troops supposed to train and rest? Where are they going to stockpile their equipment? Where should they park their vehicles? Along with that, I would like more Star Wars houses too. Same concept, really. Could have a spice house and have stormies break in. Yeah.. Edit: Give us Lego Warhammer 40k! lol at Lego Tyranids...
  14. I was hoping on adding this dock to my Castle too, but I suppose I'm not adventurous to try it. Anyways, nice review! One piece of advice is that you could add in the main part's build. You know, the center part?
  15. At first I was going to say that they were meant to be expensive, but judging from this, I think smaller vehicles should be included too. I would enjoy a cool Imperial Shuttle to store my troops inside. One thing I do disagree with is making huge TIE Fighters and such. Maybe bigger, but I don't want one without a pilot.
  16. Hey guys, I'm just another Lego fan. I live in Calabasas, California. Anyways, my hobbies include Lego, obviously, burying people under the weight of my Imperial Guardsman corpses (Warhammer 40k), forum lurking, playing on my computer, and playing with my turtle. Oh and my real name isn't Petey (Note: ptdapen=Petey the Penguin). The reason I chose that is because I hope to make a license plate based on it one day. Also, my favorite line of Lego is Castle, which came back when the Fantasy Era. The other line I collect is Lego Star Wars, mainly Clone Wars and building up my Imperial Forces. Hopefully I can contribute with reviews and such, maybe start building more MOCs. Anyways, peace.
