  1. Looking forward to trying these out. It's a great time to be a LEGO train enthousiast. I'll keep an eye on your European site for availability.
  2. Yes sure, you can post them where you want.
  3. Hey Guys, received my package. Two switches and the connections for connecting to older rails .Photo 1, Photo 2, Photo 3. They work quite well. You need a bit more pressure to connect but I really like them. The color is a bit lighter. Thanks a bunch. I will keep an eye on your site, and probably will order a new bunch when I need some more components.
  4. Thanks Jacek. Hope to test them soon. Just cleaned up my LEGO attic so looking forward to my order.
  5. Jacek, great. I just ordered a few pieces. You're last order page is still in Polish (and my Polish is a bit rusty :-) ). So maybe check out your webshop and do some extra translation... 6. The green one reminds me of the Trans Europe Express train (https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baureihe_601#/media/File:VT_11_(08.10.1985).jpg). Really love it.
  7. I think his impression of the train is a bit like surrealist art. This is not a train. (Still not seeing any pictures :-) )
  8. I love it, and thanks for the LXF file.
  9. I would really love to see these French guys with their LGV's in Utrecht. You really should ask them.
  10. I second that. Buying from an American webshop is a lot of hassle here in Belgium too. And I would love some more straight pieces and a few of these larger diameter bends for my super cool Lego Attic :-)
  11. Was searching on the forum for the TEE VT 11.5 and came across this old thread. Love it, the retro look, and it was the most awesome Diesel train ever build!
  12. A friend of mine lives and works in Bremen. He's a City Architect and would absolutely love this.
  13. Great to have you here after your "Dark Ages".
  14. I really like the passenger train, guess I will be buying yet another Lego train.
  15. The yellow locomotive of the current set looks a lot like the green or grey loco's that pull the train I'm on at the moment.
  16. I saw photo's of this train, and the gas turbine version for the first time a few weeks back. Was thinking, wow, I want this in Lego. Nice to know there are other people who have the same idea. The curved nose works out very well.
  17. Thanks EuroTrash ! They should put a like button in the forum :-).
  18. Thanks for the suggestions. I just finished my Lego attic and am looking forward to a nice christmas holiday. I'll keep you guys posted. The chocolate factory looks nicely dutch, never saw it before. It was a promo set of Nutricia, which makes Chocolat-milk , chocomel, in Dutch. That you can make a small house like that look exactly and unmistakably like an Amsterdam "Grachtenpand" with only 1978 blocks is amazing. Nice find !
  19. I bought a whole bunch of 80ies lego a few months ago. I now have the hospital (http://brickset.com/detail/?Set=6380-1) and a fire station (http://brickset.com/detail/?Set=6382-1). I would like to put them in my Lego layout for the kids to play with, but it would be nice if they looked a bit more modern. Is there anyone here who has pimped their old sets to make them look more modern. Any ideas ? Thanks a bunch.
  20. The GM class looks a lot like the kind of round nose trains from GM that drove around Europe in the 50ies (http://www.nohab-gm.de/ ). You can find one of these on Railbricks (instructions page). I tried to build my own version in LDD and it doesn't look to shabby using round slopes. If I come around to building them (which I'm definitely planning to do) I'll post them here. Adam, you did encourage me to continue building 6 wide. I often think that building 7 or 8 wide gives better results, but I don't like the enormous bulk these 8 widers give you. Looking forward to christmas. I've got a whole week to spend trying out some building techniques.
  21. I just bought a technic motor set to try and power a boogie. If you succeed in making it work with four motors, I, as a total technic noob should be able to do it with one. Great. First give it a try and come back to these topics to see how I can improve. Thanks for posting !
  22. Was just watching the John Denver and the Muppets version of the song. Synchronicity.
  23. I Like the idea of the white christmas tree. Going to take some inspiration from that.
