thanks for taking it up for me, that phoenix was build 5 or 6 years ago, with the bsb as a base, and if i would have liked it... it wouls not be in the shape it is now becoming and because i want it to be as good as it can be, i will keep taking it apart and rebuild it until there is nothing left to inprove. I've had some spare time this evening, so i've took the stern appart again, and just started to brain stom on how and what, useing the picture CGH provided, this is just a set up, non of the colors are in the right place, and ofcourse i haven't yet decorarted her, but i would realy like to hear your opinion, on the way the stern looks, im not really sure this is the way it schould be, luckely there are alot of more expericend builders here. advice and coment are always welcome, Claus

dear CGH thank you for your relpy i totaly see your point! but the problem is that the rear window is placed 2 stud wider out of the ship than the first window, cause i wanted it to look a bit round. in dutch the word is 'erker' but in english i dont know wat its called. that was the look i was trying to create. and the problem withe te sides of the stern i also so your point there, i was building the sides appart from the schip, useing minifig lenght 5 studs high, and i need to change that also, perhaps tonight between 21.00 and 00.00 i cant build a bit, when my little girl is sweet a sleep (don't count on it ) claus

wow, that is huge and a very nice piece of brick-art! do you mind of sharing your bow build techniqe? for the poenix i've tried it over 6 times, and the result was so bad i didnt want to place it online i was to a shamed of myself. but your ship is realy lovely! to bad its a (red coat) british ship. hahahaha keep on the good work and i cant wait untill we see te final result claus

the idea that you even dare to compare that histrory to a movie, just for the record IT WAS NOT A MOVIE, IT IS REALITY!!, @ CP Becker, We can't Change history, but abuseing a toy to create Hitler........ if this where eurobricks is going.... i dont like it! @ the moderators, My opinion is that this guy should appolgize, and when he post something like this again, he should be banned! claus

sorry i just over reacted, cause half my familie died during ww2

hey admiral thanks for your advice, abut the sides of the stern you are right it is way to steep, i have tried to change it but, that didn't work out. on 15-9 my wife has given birth to a wonderfull baby girl, for now is takes all the spare time i've had, so the phoenix will be put aside for a wile. claus von nassau

this is realy sick!! if YOU WOULD ONLY THINK ABOUT THE MILLIONS THAT HAVE DIED IN WW2 YOU WOULD NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT THIS UNLESS YOU ARE REALLY SICK!!!!
-
i have to disagree, the dragon on the flag is historicly more a normandic dragon then a chinese dragon, but that is just my opinion, but for the armada privateer i would go for the flag of the bull- knight of kk1

I've got the pictures!! this is still the prototype so there is still room for inprovement, if you have an idea to improve it please let me know claus
