Black Friday 2009 discussion thread
Bob replied to Darth Legolas's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
My experiences aren't any better. I don't really go out to buy Lego on Black Friday, I don't really go out that much on that day. To full from Thanksgiving. Anyway, people generally are calm over the deals, unless you get the crazy soccer-mom minivan drivers with three kids that ransack the shelves. However, there aren't to many of them out there, so you should be okay. -
I suppose this could be a smashing introduction...

Welcome! Hope you have a great time here, can't wait to see those MOC's! -
Wait everyone, I was on the radioshow, "What's that Sound?", so I can tell what it is! Hmmm, judging by the wood on tile sound, it sounds like someone just pushed a table up against the door of the basement! Anyway, it appears that this room is clear, how about we go check out Warhog's room, since she isn't here right now. It will be easier to check the rooms of those who aren't here, so that we can search undisturbed. I would like to go and search Amelia Warhog's room. Anyone care to join me?

My CIS Forces are much greater, but the Republic has more vehicles than the other. I guess I won't be able to use the Shuttle or the LA-AT. My three heros are Commander Bly, Mace Windu, and Yoda. If you are wondering who Commander Bly is, this is him.I'm calling him Commander Bly because he has the pauldron, meaning he has some form of control, and he is a Star Corps Trooper, so that works as well. 1 AT-TE 1 Clone Walker from the Battle Pack and 1 Swamp Speeder Along with 25 Clone Troopers.

Sure. Will anyone be joining us?

I decided to do my own version of an ambush, but with stormtroopers rather than clones and droids, like most ambush MOC's seem to involve. My own comments will be at the end. ------- Eccentric Imperial Commander and Governor Romnus Farn has been hated by the Rebellion for years. A few weeks ago, his large Imperial Detachment landed on the planet of Crithantium, a rocky desert like place. After capturing the capital, the Rebels decided to take matters into their own hands, and landed Captain Swilts, a highly decorated Rebellion fighter. Swilts writes on a holodisk false information that the rebels are in a city close to the capital. He knows that Farn will have to march through a small valley, and that will be the perfect place to ambush him. The rebels place it at an abandoned campsite, and the Imperials find the disk, and hand it to Farn. He marches from the capital to another city, which has been said to be the Rebellion's main headquarters. The eager Governor marches with a small group of his best troops, his treasure that he always carries, and his best prostitute. Unknown to him, the information is false, and a small rebel task-force is about to finally do away with the governor. The Governor marches along with his personal bodyguard, and a few other elite troopers. Up above the ridge, Captain Swilts awaits the right time to attack. A few other troops are there as well, hiding in the ruins. A Mon Calamarian, a rouge clone, and another trooper. The bodyguard, as well as the governor and his sword, which is rumored to be able to stand up against a lightsaber. The turret troops follow, carrying a heavy load. The treasure carrying troops, and the prostitute. But, what is happening inside the mountain? It appears that my sig-fig is throwing a party, alongside two of my alter-egos. Admiral Ackbar seems to have taken the microphone. Nute Gunray has started a conga-line. While a few others dance on the dance floor. A last overview. ------ I based the Governor on General John Burgoyne, a British General during the American Revolution. He marched down from Quebec to try and met up with two other Generals, Howe and St. Leger in Albany, however, Howe went south and captured Philidelphia, and Leger was caught up at a fort on his way. Burgoyne was forced to march all the way down, the farthest route, where he was slowed down by champagne and women that he brought with him. American General Benedict Arnold also attacked him, where he eventally surrendered at The Battle of Saratoga. I based the scene on it, because Arnold also used hit and run attacks. You also really weren't supposed to see the interior, the party was a last minute thing. Comments or Questions?

I would like to take out the book I've been holding as a weapon, and use it as a shield. If any butcher-people come after me, I'm well prepared. I propose we search the rooms in the servants quarters. Anyone have any idea which room we should look into first?
-
I might, but I won't use it as a Wild West set up. Depends if I find it on sale. I'd probably find a way to fit it into my town as an amusement park of sorts.

It's the future. My enhanced suit protected me from the blast. If you are wondering about my head, because I gave you guys my helmet, well, I found a helmet lying around. My original intention was to be killed off, however I came back to save the day, becuase I wanted the Army involved. It's not like the United States and France and Russia are all at war anyway, they're far to busy fighting off robots for that.

Must have been AwesomeStar that got you sick. Take your time, it has been a great game so far!

Vote: Lord Edward Griffin/ Stash2Sixx I'll take you up on that. I'm glad that I am not the only person who is suspicious of Simnel. If this turns out to be truthful, then I’ll trust the rest of the list that you have. I also find it odd that the night killer is killing off all the women…
-
You forgot the part when I blew myself up with an atomic bomb, them miraculously came back by popular demand, due to the obvious reason that you, "Never found the body." I believe our only enemies right now are the nano-bots and aliens anyway.
-
I think that the killer means that it is the first time that he has crushed people with food. He mentioned afterwards that he stabs people everytime. Anyway, I have no information to share. It is a shame about the Lady, however, someone inside here is a key to the outer doors. That could be a few people, including the guards, who have keys to most everywhere.

Didn't you get the memo? We're using usernames in there, and the game names out here. Honestly, I think they just forgot the names, and just called them by their username.

I would like to pick up another book, and throw it at Morrison Just go get the criminal files on all of us. I have the pleasure to say that I have never been interrogated by the police.
-
I would like to talk to Baker in private.
-
Thank you for untying me. Yes, this has truly shown the criminals, those who wish to tie up elderly men for their own gain! I would like to go pick up a book, and use it as a weapon. Knowledge is power, especially if it's an encyclopedia. Oh wait! I have an idea! I would like to find a window, and try to throw the book at the window in an attempt to break it and escape.
-
Dang it! You buffoons untie me at once! Don't forget I have this gun! Oh, there aren't any bullets. Oh well, I never learned how to use a gun anyway. Amelia, Rex, I taught you. Despite the fact that you don't use the knowledge, as you are a "party man" and a pilot, I still taught you everything you know! You can't do this! You let me out immediatly, or else I'll...I'll...throw a book at you!

Unvote: Ambassador Simnel Vote: Simon I sprouted another eye, and that one is on you Simnel. Although I would like to know who this "Bob" fellow is, and what he is building.
-
My vote stands unless someone can find someone can find any compelling evidence against someone else.
-
I just got off the phone with my lawyers, they said I couldn't make a good case. Great as always though!
-
What is going on here! I would like to throw myself infront of the Father if the others attempt to tie him up or hurt him. Vote: Don't tie up Clarence. Vote: Agree with Amelia's Plan Some of you are turning out to be very dangerous. I also would like to run to the kitchen and throw water on Baker to try to wake him up.

Now I'll have to buy Brickbeard's Bounty to go with this. I love everything about this ship, a must buy for me!

Bang Crash Boom A missile flew through a window on the other side of the building, exploding on a crane that was about to crush a few of the team. "What the hell was that?" Jack asked. "The would be the modern marvel called a missile." a voice said from the door. Bob and several dozens of marines and commando's rushed into the building, they were about to fire on the drone. "No, stop!" C.C. said. "Why?" a commando asked. "This building is connected to the drone, destroying it would destroy us!" "Oh, I see." The commando's turned and fired at the cranes that flew around. "Bob!" Melody yelled. "You're back!" "Yes, I am." Bob said. "Mind telling us how you lived?" Zach asked. "I don't think this is the time for that now..." The floor opened near a group of marines, sending them to their deaths. "Agreed, we'll ask you later." Eskallon said. "Hold on, I'd like to scan him to make sure he isn't a robot." C.C. said. "Go right on ahead." Bob said. C.C. made his scans, after getting the clear, the team continued on while the soldiers battled the building.

Don't forget Amelia, you have a knife too. I'd like both Mr. Baker and Amelia to show there knives, so I can check for blood
