The roar of engines were heard, as a few army vehicles thundered down the street, stopping at the town square. A few soldiers exited, as well as Major Legois, and then the vehicles drove down the road to drop off more soldiers elsewhere. "Hello Governor, sir!" the Major saluted. "Any relation to my dead assistant?" The Governor asked. "No, sir!" "My name is Captain Butcher, and I will be enforcing the Martial Law that will be in place for tonight." "I thought you were coming at the end of the day." a townie said. "We were, but we made great time on the highway." It was once again nighttime in the tiny town of Stapleton. Dark and dangerous events were transpiring however... Mary Jackson / Eskallon was walking the streets, when a figure approached her. "Hello little girl." it said. "Oh, hello." she said. "Please, come with me to see some uh...candy?" "I love candy!" she said. Silly Mary followed the figure, until it was interrupted from his dark deed. "Wait a second!" said the Governor, as he rushed onto the scene. "Hey, this is my night kill, you can't interrupt me!" it said. "You can't kill a kid, here take my dimwitted assistant, Legois." he said. "Okay, we'll have some fun then!" the killer said. Then he knocked Legois out, and loaded him onto his car. Then he drove away. "Where am I going?!" Mary asked. "To nursing school." the Governor said. "Oh no! I wanted to be a chef!" she said. "Well, that's a real shame, isn't it?" Elsewhere in town, other despicable things were occurring. "I have to get out of this town!" Martin said. Leaving behind his dead wife, and his missing daughter, he rushed out of town. Only to be met by a mafia car. It rammed poor Martin's car, eventually knocking it off the road, and flipping it over. *Insert car crash noises here* The killer got out to finish the job. "Oh no!" "Let me try out my new super-cool death!" The Governor added. It would have served Leanne better to watch for traffic, though. "Ahhhhh!" she yelled. And with that, the young cinema worker was killed. "If she bleeds red, does that mean that she's scum?" Legois asked. "No, it means that you're an idiot." The Governor responded. "She is a townie, after all." And with that, the sad townies went back to their homes. "What a shame, I wanted to try out this new kill type." Everyone looked at the Governor with confusion, and faces of panic. The decreasing townies ventured off into the forest, to cut down the annual Christmas Tree. A few of the stronger men in town carried it back, while the women decorated the tree with ornaments and candles. A few presents were even exchanged by the townsfolk. The townspeople danced to popular sounds of the twenties, and it brought them back to a time when there was no death or mobs. For a bit of time, the townies were happy again. By the time the townspeople arrived back to the square, a grim discovery was found... Someone had de-skinned the entire body of the BOI Agent, and positioned his body, and his gun. A note was found next to the body saying, "Merry Christmas" "This is disgusting!" Said someone. "Who could have done something like this?" another asked. You may now vote. The governor then stood up again. "I'm sure the robbery was just another isolated incident, brought on by the evilness of the scum. I don't think it has anything to do with right now." Then he sat back down.
