ok, after a pretty long time, i finally back with another combiner . this time it's from brain attack evo and aquagon. the idea on this moc is that evo had a brain slug attached to him and mutated his body to that of a half beast, but he's able to regain his conscience trough sheer willpower, and thus makes him able to use his new, mutated body for justice. yes.. i know... awfully late for brain attack hype... but oh well... front: other shot: back side: since evo able to take control of his body, the brain slug shifted to his back instead of head. action pose: well, that's it for now, C&C appreciated.

i never liked bionicle stars, but if they were doing this like the way they do bionicle stars, except using ccbs, that would mean they would use those small xt4 torso, which is always a welcome for me.

nice one as usual! this is stunning. i showed this to my friend (also a transformers fan) and he said, colorwise it didn't really resembles dinobot, but this is an awesome one, and he want to have this in his colection if he can. and about the color, i guess you can't help it, since there's no lego piece that match up dinobot color. besides, if you compare this to the henkei version instead of the original one, the color is pretty spot on actually.

ohhh, now that i see it again, you're right! that means we didn't get 2 boomerang pieces, but 4 wing-like pieces. sweet! now that you mention it... there's no defender on that picture list too....

oh and looking at pohatu, i wonder if that round hole in the middle of his boomerang is just a mere decoration, or can fit technic pin? because if it is, those boomerang could be used as cool jetpack with wing.

looking at the picture, here's my tought. 1) where's onua? 2) i kinda see the nipples on kopaka, but i didn't think of it as nipples. 3) i'm starting to think that the price list we got is either not true, or it's really messed up. how come tahu priced as xl set, when he's only have 2 parts more than gali? and LOSS which have the highest parts count, have lower price point? 4) i see now that the gold mask there is a gold version of their respective mask. now i'm wondering, are those mask included in the set, or just part of the box illustration? 5) there's no MOCr mask in any of these sets...

i also tought his face looks like megatron, but what i had in mind is bayformer megatron, not G1 megatron.

hey alan! i already saw this in your blog, and still astounding to it. great work as usual! :) looking forward to your dinobot. and, just a suggestion, but since most of your MOCs are transformers, i think it's a good idea to post on the sci-fi forum instead, since most robots/mechas, including TF fans, re most likely checking there. -

i know there's a ninjago and star wars ultrabuild knock-off out there. the head is most likely new. -
depends on how the gear function is positioned. and for that, i think i'm gonna hold my opinion until we get a shot of the back side.

then you're not the kind of "die-hard fan" that zenerius mentioned. good to know that the old fans is more open minded now. i also know a friend that says' "too bad it uses HF piece" but admit that they're pretty much gonna ends up buy the set at the end. and yeah, that picture is much more heartwarming than the other pictures. edit: 1000 posts! yaay!

this is new bioformer i made, using set 6231 speeda demon.... yeah, lime green again... this time i added a new feature, which is a human alliance style. for you who don't know, human alliance means that in the vehicle mode, the transformers have room to put a driver/pilot. in my case, the room is enough to put a minifig. vehicle mode: front: back: close up cockpit: as you can see, the cockpit have enough room for one minifig. those two grey pin in front of his feet is what hold him tight inside the cockpit. the minifig can be taken out too if you open the cockpit. transformation: the transformation sequence can be viewed here. robot mode: front (and size comparison with minifig): back: action pose: well, that's it for now. C&C appreciated.

hero factory's end is pretty much confirmed, i was talking with a retailer employee few days ago, and he said there's no Hf at all on the retailer catalog. there's only bionicle.

just because you see new recolor or new parts, doesn't mean they're gonna appear on the final sets. remember craggers weapon that showed here ? and how the final version doesn't look as epic as that? EDIT: sorry, it seems i missed shakar's post...

ok, so here's my tought about 3 xl toa: tahu: probably the surf board has a little complex build, and thus boosted the price. onua: his body looks pretty bulky, hopefully that bulk has real mass to justify his price. kopaka: i don't really understand, but looking at him closer, it looks like he has a pretty big shield and some more armor on his upper body. maybe that's what makes him xl? and the LOSS is $15, i tought he's going to be the biggest set. i guess we're all mistaken this. it's a good think tough. he's more affordable that way, and i'm always welcoming character with non bipedal build.
