the IM sets were definitely released earlier than I thought.... I had to scramble to get them into my march LEGO budget

the whole spoiler worry thing is silly now a-days considering how much we get from the the internet and the movie trailers themselves... I think, if anything, having the toys out only increases the visibility and popularity of the movies, people walking down the toy isle see the sets and think, oh yeah, I wanted to see that movie.

love to see a spidy LC IF and DD team up... I too would like to see captain b in a movie but it's not going to happen anytime soon true but i like it...

I'm not really sure what options they have at the moment. The contracts with DC/Marvel may specify a number of sets. the contracts are up after 2014. I suspect, if we will see the number of sets rise it will be in 2015 when they have redone the contracts. I think the timing of this is not coincidental as 2015 is going to be a very big year for Marvel and DC. I like everyone here hope to see a rise in sets but I think it is unrealistic till after 2014

I'd be shocked if they completely ignore it but it's entirely possible we may see just one winter wave (January) set, considering that's what they did for TDKR

word is Dr Strange is coming after ant man so, most likely april or may 2016... I hope we get a confirm for black panther at comic-con too

I actually don't mind the new Nova... I think he provides an important element to the show... He is Spidy's mirror. He represents everything spidey doesn't like about himself. It's the whole, the things that annoy us most in others are the things we don't like about ourselves principle. At first I was like, what, he's just another personality like spidy but when the delineations happened it got interesting and I began to be able to relate to the show on a more mature level. Nova is spidy if he never had Uncle Ben but, if your gonna bag on a main from the show, bag on Nova.. End rant.

Dude, are you kidding??? Iron fist is awesome, I've always liked him since I first read his character in the comic book... he like the only chill super hero there is, all zen like, Nothing like me, but I still think it's cool. Iron fist deserves more of a spotlight... If you were to rag a little on Nova... Maybe, but for Iron Fist, you are WAAAAAY OFF bro

quick thoughts on Iron Man vs The Mandarin: Ultimate Showdown... I got this sets expecting to have it only for the minifigs and to be somewhat let down by the mandarin minifig... I am glad to say that I was presently surprised! First the iron man minifig is flat out awesome, the detail is better than the one from the avengers and I liked that one a lot already. Second the Mandarin fig looks a lot better in person than in the pictures, which make his hair and beard look shiny (ugh) the shape of his hair and beard are okay too, I really don't know how lego could have done much better when you look at pictures of what he actually looks like. Third: The cart actually turned out to be a fun little build, it has some rare parts and the mechanism for the flame thrower is actually interesting. If your on the fence as to if you want this or not, I recommend it, even if just for the figs, and I'm on a founding member of the flick-missiles-are-lame club.

We still need Oscorp tower, the Latveriann Embassy and... the Hellicarrier

dude, just some of the headliners would make me happy, as it is well have to want till at least late 2015 for Ant Man and Wasp and who knows if we'll ever get Black Panther, although I still hoping Stan Lee didn't jump the gun when he said there was a BP movie in the works for 2016 or 17

anyone know if we have a fairly firm date for the sups sets? not that they're likely to fit into my LEGO budget after buying 8 daily bugles and with the huge number of sets that are coming in june... also: sorry if this info was already posted, I looked but could not find anything that seemed firm... thanks

Ant Man is a bit of a quirky guy, not as cool as stark... I can sort of see Rudd fitting that role but if they cast him it'll be a question mark but I think any actor for that role will be until we see the movie... I think it's an okay choice but we'll have to wait and see

thank you! i want it even more now... except the chopper but i could care less about that part, i will be MODing it big time to make it more like the real thing (yes i know it's a movie) but it's a great starting point. can't wait till it gets here tuesday

I plan to pick up another mansion or two after i see how cool the first one is to build and MOD it but for now I am making still making a huge daily bugle... oh what i wouldn't give for a Stark tower and an Oscorp tower

agreed. AG is so much more believable as PP, he's a geek but he isn't a push over, he'll stand up for what's right even if he might get hurt in the process. TM's PP had no back bone till he became spider man

I e-mailed Lego awhile back about the whole equal number of sets and the guy was pretty vague but in the reply he seemed to say that Marvel and DC were not on an 'equality' rule of any kind but he did not say it in so many words, so alls we can do is keep guessing... I guess...

my hope is for 2 or 3 sets in October but more we will probably have to wait til January and we might only get 1. I expect we'lll be getting hobbit sets in November so, if we hear about the hobbit sets first, I think we'll be waiting for January
