and as i saw the hairprint on her torso i could immediately say its annakins torso from the new dropship. im not sure if the hair or head are exclusive to this promoset (guess the hairpiece is from castle) - if not there is imho pretty much no reason to get it other than for the instructions and box

im not a fan of stickers myself and will not be applying any unless i really want to keep a model for display. i just figured that there are 4 more than i could spot right away (on each side). but u could substitute the flaps with stickers (in the back of the ship) with a construction of these: 2 x http://www.brickset.com/parts/?part=6008297 3 x http://www.brickset.com/parts/?part=241226 1 x http://www.brickset.com/parts/?part=4216695 or even with reversed colors i still like most of the new sets (beside the cw starhopper because its way to bulky and i dont like the cw-heads) i might be getting only one big set (sailbarge would go well with me dessert skiff) and bricklink the rest of the figures ( Stass Allie, Dooku, Padme, Obiwan, Annakin) - most set only have 1 figure im interested in (except for the sail barge and the republic gunship) and are not overly stunning partswise.

rhino smashes and trambles everything when i read the title i thought you would do a minifigure-sque rhino though. certainly the brickbuilt works better sizewise - hes just missing a face-decal of some sort. still curious to see which scene you'll put wolverine in (broad hint!)

i really like your latest creations. would u be so kind to explain how u attached the "wheel" to the chair? i cant really tell cause of the black background/black legs. i totally agree! thats why my magneto has that exact hairpeace

i had hope there would be a discount on palpatines arrest =/ at least Anakin's Jedi Interceptor is on a 5€ discount - probably gonna get that one plus another small set to at least get the han solo promofig aswell. I will decide between what else to get between Republic Striker Class Figther ( zero stickers), A-Wing/Saesse Tiin's Figther (both lots of stickers ) and Bespin/Lobot + Republic vs Sith Trooper/ Clonetroopers vs Droidekas/Endor Battlepack(although i already have a Endorpack)

yeah - i wanted to get the stagecoach express set, but im not willing to pay a madeup price that high x_X after tmnt, loneranger, new chima, new cmf AND new superheroes (oh almost forgot about galaxy quest) hitting the lego store right now (in germany) i am still undiceded where to spend my money ^^ (in the end im probably gonna buy a bigger sw set am maythe4th)
-
yeah, off course series 10 ^^ thx for your correcting mixed that up, cause i thirt at first glance i thogut that is series 9, but soon after realized its gotta be 10 ^^ - didnt change what i wrote first, though had no problems identifying the series that i got cmfs of (sadly only 4, 5, 7, 8 and 9) series 10 was easy aswell (after recognizing the skydiverhelmet) might try our other puzzle now aswell
-
dookus hair just looks different in the 2nd shot because of the angle, i guess (anakin got the draco hairpiece aswell, right?) - anakins hairpice doesnt suit him that well, this hairpiece would have been my pick (in the same color as anakins though ) http://www.brickset.com/parts/?part=4652797

TMNT Shredder (2003) - I need your help
Hoschiebaer replied to Elrond's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
hey, no problem - i guess ur not into the dark-red shredder either =) when i think of him i still see him in the 2003 animated series with the black and grey or more like this actionfigure from the 90s-series(which i have somewhere in a box in my parents attic) not sure about the galaxy squad torso. i thought about that one too - at first. i think it might make the whole figure to bright. u can also try a blank-black legs with rex's armorpiece - didnt check for proper legs yet ^^ maybe some ninjago ones with a white belt would fit? guess u have to switch up the 2legparts to some black ones then. btw the garmaddon head is available at pickabrick at shop@home at lego.com =) (though the pick-a-brick site isnt working for me right now) so u dont have to pick up the whole minifigure/search on bricklink. -
TMNT Shredder (2003) - I need your help
Hoschiebaer replied to Elrond's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
i guess garmadon's head would work pretty well for shredder (depending on how much would be visible depending on the helmet u want to use - guess tmnt shredder's) maybe you are ok with using http://www.brickset....s/?part=4580139 as a torso. e: http://www.brickset....s/?part=6043450 might also work - depending on the colorsheme ur going for u could also use rex's skirt http://www.brickset....nifigs/?m=sw194 as an additional armor piece not sure on what kind of legs to use ( dunno if plainblack will fit in quite right) -
not familiar with the themyscira scenery, but it looks like some antique roman/greek style. great use of the catwoman mask on your cheetah - guess the plain yellow torso works a little better than the muskular (as someone said before: to masculine) the tiles on the sides of the columns work really great! i would like to use that technic aswell soon.

purely awesome - i like that shiny look of his horse reminds me of a mixture of both - galaxy rangers and bravestarr

i watched episode 5 last night and imho his suit may be turquoise but his skin is more of a greenish colorway... i guess the head from wald from the latest podracerset suits him pretty well. as i came back from my dark age i was kinda bummed they changed the grey-bricks yet again (they had a darker grey/different lightgrey on some spacesets back then). ill have to admit at least the latest changes in grey-tones was for the better though =)

[MOC] This is Madness...
Hoschiebaer replied to Lego Chris's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
great moc! i immediately thought of the movie as i read that the chima-charakter was called leonidas =) are those the cmf2 spartan helmet or the brickforge ones? im thinking about buying some, but cant decide which one to get. (cmf really expensive, brickforge only available from overseas) -
i still have the midshool train tracks from this set: do they work well with the new ones (they won't vice versa i guess)? the new powerfunction-trains dont have to run electricity through a track-circle, do they? i guess it depends on the price of the set. the horizon express dint come with powerfunctions and was priced around 100€ - on Shop@home they are offering a set WITH powerfunctions for 235...seeing the constitution train chase will be priced at $99.99 USD / $129.99 CAD (i guess 100€) it wont include power functions. price with powerfunctions would be ~ 200-240$ (if the set will be offered in a package with powerfunctions). i will cerently buy the stagecoach (manly for the minifigures) and pretty sure the cavalary aswell (stagecoach offers enough horses for whole bunch).

Removing stickers from trans-clear parts?
Hoschiebaer replied to Roger_Smith's topic in General LEGO Discussion
one thing that came to my mind yesterday: may dad used to remove the stickers/glue on bottles etc with olive oil. guess its working better if the paper of the sticker is still partly on there though. -
too bad u had to use so many lights to light up the whole stack of granades in the back =) maybe u could exchange the light illuminating the goblin-mask-stand with a lightbrick (though i guess it wouldnt be bright enoug) and use this light for the glider?
-
purely fantastic build! spot-on lighting - wish it had an additonal light-spot for the glider. i really love the arch on the left with the brick-brick wall on the front
-
pretty nice scenery u created there. but imho smaug looks a bit to bright - the gold just doesnt seem to fit right. maybe darkred/black would have been the better choice for the upper-parts. gold on the bottom/chest only. (though u cant see much of his chest). keep up the great creations =)

Removing stickers from trans-clear parts?
Hoschiebaer replied to Roger_Smith's topic in General LEGO Discussion
after what i have experienced with wd40 compared to paint thinner, wd40 wont be as agressive to the plastic (i used wd40 to peel stickers of my bmx/get the grips of the bars - havent used it on lego though) if u are afraid to damaging the panel u could always try it on a similar part (tranblue/clear) u have enough spares of -
i really like, that the hat of the female mf in the stagecoach is removable (i guess its the same as with the friends mf-hairpieces, that got a tiny hole in them to put a ribbon e.g. in) its kinda odd that tonto is included in every set but the cavelry and lone ranger is included in all sets - which makes me wonna get only 1 or 2 of the series. the stagecoach really looks great and the train aswell! (might be getting the stagecoach and the mine or the city showdown though) edit: one question on the side... does anyone used the friends mf-hairpieces on normal minfigures? are they fittig in length? (i guess the friends mf are a tad higher than normal mfs)
