(868-500=368) "Marked down... relatively." Purpearl corrects. "Business is business, no hard feelings. But what favour will it be if we manage to convince her to join the guild? I might head over to the Strange Beach to have a look." Purpearl waits for Master Zeus' response and turns around if anyone from the party would like to join her

"How about Prayer Beads and Mercutio's Blessing, if they are not too hard to find? And how about Gems of each element?" Purpearl takes off the Stingy Gloves and immediately equips her newly purchased Coat Hanger and her Tunic of Elven Acrobat as she ponders over the prices. Germ, Mhinak, Inki and the members of the BoB gang, Coyote, Lupo, and Lycan, decide to never turn back from the pursuit of the Star Elves and find themselves lost somewhere in the wastelands of Fenario. "It doesn't matter anymore, does it? We are here fighting and sought your help because the Wolfgang gave us a chance to make a break, we just need to prove that we are worthy by delivering supplies for them into Fenario. We should have known better and not lose the supplies the first time. The gold we could have made, its our second chance to life!" Coyote lashes out in frustration. "Now we have nothing! I don't know where to find a second opportunity as good as this!" Now lost with no clear future ahead for the BoB gang, the party hears some whispers coming a distance away. They remain hidden, but from afar, it appears to be Nagrini, still alive, conversing with a weresnake. Germ finds that weresnake particularly familiar, perhaps he might have seen him before hiding behind a particular pillar in a particular dungeon... However, one cannot simply train alone, as in reality, working with others is as important as protecting oneself. It would be a blessing if I can protect myself as well as protecting others in the process. A Cloak of the Grand Vizier would certainly aid me in that aspect. Also the price of a Clockwork Lance if you are able." If it is possible, I would hope to learn the ways of the lightning, if you would take on the mystic elf mage as your disciple."

Purpearl blushes at the skull as Zeus introduces himself as the Electrical Emperor, "Well, Zeus the electrical emperor, what do you have installed for the mage? I am interested."

Purpearl approaches the electrical elemental while channelling electrical energies from her topaz. Hoping their energies are in sync with each other, Purpearl speaks, "Greetings. I am Purpearl, a traveller from Eubric. I am truly intrigued by this place the moment I stepped onto this island and I am lucky enough to travel to the city centre with the aid of void masters." Nodding, I wonder what this city centre has to offer?"

Purpearl stands still for a second to ponder over the various members of the Council. She recalls the time that she ended the life of a Chaomancer in Uland, and with that unfortunate link of that title with Amarcolm, Chauncey's master, she makes a point to pay the master a visit. Perhaps to straighten out things, if possible. However, taking in Piglina's advice, Purpearl decides to visit the city center with everyone else. "Melquiades, City Center." Purpearl calls out.

Purpearl greets Piglina and Bombast as she watches Chauncey and Melquiades disappear, "I am honoured to stand in front of members of the council. I am sure you know of our purpose here." Glancing at Lord Guffington, "But stepping onto this island... my eyes are truly opened and it has certainly raised many questions; about the origins of my ethereal powers, how I can further harness it to maximise my full magical potential so on... Yes, indeed, I am home, as I can feel my ether resonating with the flow of energies here. This is definitely a good time for me to come here." Purpearl responds, "I am also curious, about the necessity for the council to keep track of mages around Olegaia. Surely as stewards of ether perhaps you feel there is a need to, but are there any other agendas on the table? Threats to the council? Threats to the world? And what does the council feel about the old gods, Hope, Passion, and Regret?"

Purpearl moves beside Chauncey as she disembarks, at the same time attracted by the lights and aura that radiates the land. Recalling that both Chauncey and Aventine both trained under Master Amarcolm, the elf wonders if part of Aventine's power in her is interacting with the ethereal energies of Etheria. Though just a feeling, she could feel part of her somehow resonates with the island. Moving forward, Purpearl bows to the two denizens in greeting, "Purpearl Berthadhiell. I suppose you are expecting our arrival."

"I hope our personal goods are not each others personal bads. We shall see." Purpearl finds a safe spot in the ship and unrolls her bedroll. The elf sits on it, a hand on the staff while she meditates and rests her mind and body.

"Perhaps it is about your deals with Regret that had me worried, but I am not the same elf you faced at the duel. I would have struck you down if I remained the same, but no, I realised I am more than just ether raging through my body. It would be too easy for you for you to leave this world just like that, and the fact is somehow you make me push myself harder, to become stronger, like you said, make our own ways, and balance comes out of that. But we do have a common goal, I am too, concerned with Lord Guffington. I have only heard about Passion, I would like to see him in person if we do resurrect him." "I believe you are jumping ahead of things, I am not the one who is concerned about balance, Chauncey is. Chauncey is a wise yet cunning man, you may agree with him, but I have learnt not to trust him that easily." Purpearl simply states. "Removing the Veteran's protection means quitting Heroica, as you did, but you are strong enough to make that kind of philosophical decision." Purpearl shrugs as she glances over at his Blue Hand Shield.

Purpearl's thoughts convened towards the idea of witches and Old Gods, "These Old Gods might be mortal of some sort, but as I am sure you have met one or more before, they cannot be underestimated. To be able to kill one is someone or something more than us, perhaps the witches, perhaps someone else. I am surprised we have not met these threats on our journey thus far, perhaps they might be just using us to retrieve the artifacts. Given how much we know and how far we progressed in such a short time, I have fears that we might be doing all the hard work for them to intervene when we attempt to resurrect Passion. Passion was killed once, I do not doubt they will be there to kill it again." "As I feared, Lord Guffington. Passion has been killed before, and doesn't mean they cannot do it again. Have you considered how you'd have painted a huge target on your back if you become a vessel for Passion? These... threats will be on your tail more than ever for the rest of your life." Purpearl is again reminded of Old Gods and Witches, "If we say all things are in balance, how do we know we are not disturbing the balance that may be already in place. We, dabbling with these artifacts... might be disrupting this so called balance. Not to say we trespassed the dragons' lair, stepped onto holy grounds for the flame, and double dipped on the First Breath. Similarly, Guts, Dyric and Matthias are on the other side of the world gathering the other two artifacts. Don't you think you are disrupting this balance by bringing the four of them together? Have you considered, perhaps, balance is keeping them untouched in their own secure location around the world? By bringing them together, we have just made ourselves vulnerable to everything that is out there that seeks to disrupt this balance?" Purpearl frowns at that idea, "And to maintain this balance, we increase our power and abilities to fend off these threats. If we manage to defeat these threats and fend off the Witches, then we disrupt the balance by being the dominant power. Is that what you seek to ultimately achieve, Chauncey? Ultimate power?"

Purpearl stands beside Hybros as he held up the Dragon Gloves, curious to hear what Chauncey has to say about Etheria and the artefacts.

Purpearl says as she relaxes as she lifts her head against the wind as the airship sails through the air. "It should be interesting to see how the council and the people will feel about us resurrecting Old Gods. I mean, how in tune are the people of Etheria with their history and the legends surrounding the Old Gods? Should we be worried?"

Purpearl leans in closer to U'Or, "I am ready. Anything we should know about Etheria before we head off?" Nodding at the unfamiliar white bearded man at the same time, who seems to be on good terms with everyone else.
