  1. I'd like to see LEGO re-visit the scene depicted in the Ultimate Lightsaber Duel set from ROTS, only this time do away with the gimmicky rods, and give us more of the Seperatist hideout. I'd like to see something similar to the Volcano Base in the Agents line (of course w/o the big cartoon cannon). Making it a big set, LEGO could fill out the backside by showing the lava mining facilities, with a control room and conference room, throw in bits to make some mining droids; minifigs include Obi-Wan, Anakin, Padme, Palpatine & a Shocktrooper (or two). ...and like many of you I'm still patiently waiting for a quality Hoth set. I passed on the Echo Base set (it's just a door), and I hope LEGO really gives us a quality set (or sets) with Rebel cannons, Tauntauns, a Wampa, a bigger probe droid, and plenty of Rebel & Imperial grunts. ...and I hope LEGO releases a new, or re-releases the old System-scale Millenium Falcon. I can't afford the UCS set, it would dwarf everything else in my collection, and it's basically hollow inside.
  2. I'd pick up 8635 Mobile Command Center from the Agents line. I'm considering picking up some of the Agents sets, but haven't yet pulled the trigger (trying to save my $$ for the Death Star set and the Clone Wars sets coming out). But, if I could win a contest and get 8635 for free then "yeah" for me.
  3. That's me; good ol' English Footballer. I look nothing like my set number
  4. A big Texas "howdy" to everyone here on EB. I've been lurking around for several months now (officially joined a few weeks ago) and thought I'd finally say "hey." My LEGO interests are primarily with Star Wars and Castle (though a few of the Agents sets look promising). I do not consider myself a hardcore LEGO collector; I do not create any MOCs, I usually build a set and keep it assembled for a few days, then take it apart and store it, and I'll go through several months/years where I do not buy any sets (I've seen this referred to by others as "the dark period" in their LEGO hobby -- good term). My first introduction to LEGO were the Classic Space sets of the late 70s-early 80s. Afterwards, as I grew older, I drifted away from LEGO but always held on to my Space sets -- kept them in closets, the garage, parents' attic, etc. In 1999, after I had a family of my own, LEGO announced the license to produce the Star Wars sets, and I got back into LEGO in a big way. I bought all the SW sets up until AOTC was released, then I became a little more selective. In 2004, I sold every LEGO SW set I owned to pay for a family vacation (I regret selling my AT-AT and MF), but still would buy a couple of the <$10 sets here & there on an impulse. These usually ended up going to my kids, however. I didn't get back into LEGO until the ISD & JSB sets were announced. I told myself I'd buy those two only, but when I saw the new B-Wing & Slave I -- well, I had to have those, too. Since then I've been buying sets pretty regularly, and I've fallen for the Castle sets in a big way, as well. Anyway, if my habits on other forum sites are any indication, I don't post frequently, but I hope to contribute in some small way to the community around here.
