    Nessa bowed down and said a prayer for the fallen enemies. More encouraged by that she stood tall and faced the last remaining foe. 'See, my dear. Having compassion and honor for your opponents makes everything much more easier.' With an encouraged look on her face, Nessa prepared her bow for the last time in this battle - so she was hoping. "I guess I am not really made for fighting", she mumbled. "So be it. I'll attack Dark Croise C from the back row."

    "Thank you, mother", Nessa said. She grabbed to her quiver and pulled out some arrows. "Alexander, catch. They might help you." By this Nessa throwed the arrows to Alexander. "And now, let us finish these Croise, for the sake of the fallen and the living. I will attack Dark Croise C from the back row."

    What has happened? She did as her mother told her? Wasn't she focussed enough? 'Sometimes things go well, sometimes worse, my little dear. Don't let this get you down. This is good for something. You will understand in the future. Keep in mind that this life is a test. And you still have to learn. One day your righteousness will be known everywhere...' But why, mother? What have I done wrong? She didn't get a response. Suddenly everything was quiet around her. She just felt the pain - she could not stand much more. Then she remembered again. Ignore the pain, foolish girl, she said to herself. "You Croise shall pay for what you have done. I will avenge the pain and suffering you have brought over this land and the people... and my fellows here. So, Dark Croise B, get ready to be struck down. (from the back row) OOC: If this is ok with you, -obelix-, otherwise I will change my target/action And I am not really sure about the ice thing of Amma, but she stated, that her attack is throwing her broomstick - without an ice spell. Or did I get something wrong?

    "Hah, got y..." Nessa stopped talking as she remembered her mother's words. No she would not get arrogant again. Instead she concentrated once more and aimed for the Dark Croise B from the back row.

    "Aaaaaaaahhhh..." Nessa cried out in pain as she got struck by the fiendish Croise soldier. 'You aren't concentrating. You got arrogant and this is what you get for it. Calm down, focus and be prepared!' Her mother's word were ringing in Nessa's ears. "I guess you are right", Nessa said loudly not watching for the reaction of her fellows. She breathed slowly, closed her eyes and ignored the pain in her body. Then she got the new orders of Thalion. "Alright, Master Thalion. I will attack Dark Croise A from the backrow." Then she aimed for her enemy and tried to give it a good shot.

    Nessa grabbed for another arrow when she said: "That was a likely good start. Now feel the real power of my bow." Nessa attacked the Dark Croise B again from the back row.

    Nessa was prepared to face the enemies. "I will attack Dark Croise B from the backrow as soon as the battle starts."

    "Good to see you all again. I am ready to got, too." Nessa said willing to fight back the rest of the Croise.

    Nessa woke from her slumber feeling fresh and restored. "Where is everyo... Oh right." She remembered that Thalion and Alexander left to see that smith. The dwarf laid nearby, obviously still sleeping though she could not really see it. The strange but less talking guy - Janek - was not in sight. So was Dreyrugr. The vampire must have hidden in the dark shadows. She turned around in her bedroll, warmed herself and waited for the party to rejoin.

    "That seems like a good plan. I would like to take advantage of your offer. I could use some armory or, if not affordable, one or two potions. I trust you might choose wisely." Nessa handed over 15 gold to Thalion and took a short sleep in her bedroll in order to prepare for the next battle.

    "Good to see you up again, dwarf", Nessa said much more colder than she really wanted to. "I guess it is not a bad idea to rest a little bit after this hard fight." Then Nessa searched in her bag in order to enroll her bedroll.

    "I will avenge the dwarf. By this YOU WILL DIE!" Nessa shouted and pulled back the string of her bow to attack the Croise Commander ... from the backrow .

    "Yes, uhm. I will attack Croise Commander from the back row."

    Still confused about the nearby death of her fellow dwarf Nessa said with uncertainity in her voice: "I will attack Croise Marksman C from the back row." She still not had a clue about her relationship to Amma. But at least there was something... evolving.

    "As you wish, Master Thalion." Nessa responded subdued. "I will drink a potion... in the backrow, I guess."

    Is the dwarf dead? Although Nessa had wished this she feels no relief. "AMMA, NOOOO...", she cried out when her voice finally cut off. A tear ran down her cheek. Unsure what to do she looked around. Thalion? Alexander? Dreyrugr? "Why... why don't you help her?" Nessa gasped. Why had death always had to take everything - everyone out of her life?

    "Hurray. That was a good one. I will repeat my action and attack Croise Marksman C from the back row."

    @Capt.JohnPaul: just to get timezones correct: what does "in the afternoon" mean? i.e. How late is it now?

    "NOOO...", Nessa cried out in anger and pain as she saw the storm of arrows hailing down on the party. "You will pay for this. I attack Croise Marksman C from the back row."

    "At least you are of half size", Nessa groused.

    "So as it seems there is nothing left to do. Yes, I am ready for battle."

    "All right, Master Thalion. I will attack Croise Marksman C from the back row."

    "Everything HAS been taken from me! And I DIDN'T had a chance to fight for it." Nessa replied angrily. With a sad tone in her voice she continued: "So I made my choices and flew. There was nothing left to fight for." 'You really should listen to that wise old lady. Her advice is not of evil. You should trust her. You will need allies in the future you can rely on. So don't be silly and put down your pride and prejudice!'
