I don't like sandtrooper updates, they make it impossible to remove their shoulder pads and use them as regular stormtroopers, now they always have to be sandtroopers!

Built for the Turklug 2014 contest, this is my first ever technic creation so don't be too harsh on me, I am still in the learning phase. The truck's model is based on Dodge Power wagon, but still there are very distinct features. Both the steering engine and the power engine are old 4.5v engines, so it is not a very powerful for a truck trial. I don't own many technic sets, so I supplied the model from technic parts that came from system sets as well, for example, the grey suspensions came from western sets. I think the visor printing of the stormtrooper is actually better but the moustache part is ugly.

they are also getting new helmet and backpack molds.

I think he will look exactly the same as the other snowtroopers except for the small insignia on his chest.

The google search of the Rebels characters name didn't give any results, however, I think this Hera Syndulla is related to one of the Clone Wars characters, namely, Cham Syndulla, a twi'lek revolutionary from Ryloth. Do you think this connection means, similar style to the Clone Wars series?

Nice vignette. Just a minor suggestion, maybe you can change the color of the pants or torsos, because both characters wear the same color combinations.

Are they going to include 3x imperial officers, or are they counting the crew figure and navy figure as officers too?

I don't think they would mold another st helmet, just a newer print for the show. But I hope it stays the same, I don't want varying troops among my already little army, I want uniformity.

I am really not a technic person, but this is too amazing to be skipped!

ISD has way too few figures for such a set, unless the stormtroopers are x4, and navy troopers and crew are x2. And there no named figures except for Vader?

that wouldn't work because the new helmet is actually two parts, a backpack and a helmet, whereas the older one is just one solid piece.

Great moc! Have you considered to make the hangar bay carved into an astroid?

perhaps the regular st helmet is a place holder for the stylized helmet!
