First, I would like to thank everyone for helping me with my school project! Now 2 of my friends and me are going to use the information that you have helped em gather. I will keep you upfated when I get feedback from teacher on the project.

We can allways hope that there will be system pirates in 2008(maybe?) pure guessing: 2004-jack stone pirates 2006-duplo pirates 2008(?)-system pirates(?) aahhh... yoda's famous theory: a theme starts in the duplo category and moves up with that particular customer/generation all to way to MF world.... i think it's wishful thinking, but who knows? many pirate parts are in production for other sets/themes... whatever happened to HP, btw? i mean we're getting some sort of a picture of what to expect this year, and so far no HP at all... There is (as far as I know) no harry potter sets this year, because there is no new harry potter film this year. the next one, order of the pheonix, is coming out next year. Btw they just started filming it this week.

I have to disagree - the burning of the flag is as stupid as the comic itself. They say "You can't depict our Prophet and now we burn Your flag" - That's even more insulting. They do exactly the same. Burning the flag is an act of treason or declaration of war... though it won't come to that (hopefully). As for this thing blowing over - I don't think so. The Danish Red Cross has evacuated their workers in Palaestine and the Scandinavian Milk Company ARLA has lost close to 10 million Danish Crownes per week and has to lay off 100 employees. Today the newspaper has issued an excuse in Jordan and our Prime Minister has said that he finds the comic strip bad... BUt my guess is that the fanatics will never hear of this... Kinda stupid since Denmark is one of Palaestine's fiercest supporters. Man I hate religion when it gets mixed with politics - thank You Luther for fixing my part of the World. KimT I totally agree with you KimT, that politics and religion should be more seperated then it is in this situation now. As a dane my self, have I been following these events in the TV very closely. I have the deepest respect for every kind of religion, but still I think this is ridicoulus!

On target's website they have 3 of the batman sets up for preorder. tehy are al liste as shipping in 2 to 6 weeks. maybe this means that the sets soon will be available from target stores? Link

Thanks for the link. The designer sets looks extremely good. BTW: upon further inspection of the kk2 set(8813) it seems that it comes with 10 minifigs, and some of them are just generic soldiers!

hmm... even more interesting. It seems to be a S@H exclusive set, which could be why we havent heard about that one yet. The battle at the pass set looks really cool, even though that the pictures is so blurry that you barely cant see a thing.

Yeah, I like the sets alot, too. especially the smallest one with the seven minifigs.

Ok. It is just that in Denmark the retailers recieve the sets very late, around half a month or an entire month later then the catalogue says.
