  1. Edit: David Thomsen was faster with the point I wanted to make. While I won't say there never were intentional clues, I am more reminded of psychological concepts such as "selective perception" and "hindsight bias" here. Based on the "clues", we can also draw the following absolutely false conclusions. Cafe corner - bench (bus station), bike (bike shop), cups (china store) Maket street - flower (flower shop) Green grocer - cat (pet shop), children's push chair (daycare) Fire station - dog (pet shop), tools (hardware store) Grand emporium - ice cream (diner), mail box (post office), flowers (flower shop) Pet shop - bike (bike shop) Therefore, we can also draw absolutely false conclusions from the Town Hall, such as the spying glass meaning we'll get a library or a P.I. agency, when the facts say we'll get a Palace Cinema.
  2. Interesting. In the high-res pictures of the first post, the big bow in 41004 Rehearsal Stage is clearly purple-ish, whereas in the new pictures it's light-bluish gray. This won't influence my buying, but still...
  3. The German shop.lego.com still sells the last four modulars (FB, GE, PS and TH) like nothing ever happened. GE is here: http://shop.lego.com/de-DE/Gro%C3%9Fes-Kaufhaus-10211 .
  4. The FB is still in the German, UK, French and Dutch holiday catalog, see http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=70173&st=150 .
  5. Probably from the scale (sticker) of 3188 Heartlake Vet, as are the medium azure curved tops. Hoexbroe, I love how you attached those curved tops to make the seats. I was thinking about using them as a backrest for my own restaurant, but using them for the whole seats is even better.
  6. A Google Image search for "Feuerwehr Motorrad" (German for "fire department bike") brings up countless fire bikes. One article said they're used in Greece for their maneuverability. Edit: http://www.feuerwehr-sendling.de/aktuell/nachrichten/newsdetails/24-04-2010-kradfahrer-training-zum-saisonstart/ used in Germany http://www.motorrad-news.com/2009/03/23/bmw-feuerwehr-motorrad/ used in Hong Kong http://www.fotocommunity.de/pc/pc/display/24055637 used in Indonesia
  7. The morning before the forum crashed, the hot talk here was about a yellow Cinema that 'LegoCityMann' (of this forum) said to have seen in his Lego Store. I thought it was interesting, so I had it printed out and will kind of restore it here. (LegoCityMann, PM me if you mind). FYI, the typos are mostly his: Someone else then pointed out that the (real) cinema of the above image is located in Frogmoor Square, High Wycombe, UK. Interestingly, a Lego Fan built exactly that cinema in March 2011, see http://www.flickr.co...gga/5493146098/ .
  8. As also posted in the 2013 City thread, it seems there really is a cinema coming, although it's slightly cheaper than the usual modular: which roughly translates into
  9. (Bold typeface added by me) Some new modular cinema building maybe? The "pezdez" person was the only one who claimed that a cinema was on the way, so until now I couldn't entirely believe him. But yesterday someone at 1000steine said ( www.1000steine.de / de / gemeinschaft / forum / ?entry=1&id=12841 ; in German) which roughly translates into
