  1. Sorry I haven't posted much, I've had no access to a computer for a few days and had to use my friends. Will be gettin' into Chapter 2 ~A.S.
  2. (I don't think thats a coincidence, YG ) This is certainly very interesting... I think we should sit down, have some ham and cheese toasties... and talk it over.
  3. Yay! Let the suspicion and accusations begin! ~A.S.
  4. Any more input? Constructive criticism, perhaps? ---- I like this custom a lot! While not a fan of Punisher, I like his look, and think you've done really well, here! ~A.S.
  5. I'm Officer Gus Staines. Hope you're all okay and are coping with this tragic turn of events. GCPD will need to do some investigative work around here, obviously, so don't be alarmed if you see us snooping around or wanting to talk to you We will keep you up-to-date should anything of worth arise
  6. Oh, yes Sam, you might want to PM TinyPiesRUs about a reserve part ~A.S.
  7. Oh goodness, I hope you're all okay! *Helps brush off some of the sawdust from Herman, brushing his his chest just a little too long * Austin, I'd already suggested the night-watch idea! Honestly, doesn't ANYONE listen to me?! I want to help search for another way upstairs, too.
  8. Sorry, Sam, but your too late. Sign-up ended a couple of days ago and we're all full now. Maybe you'll get a place in the next Mafia game if you're quick enough ~A.S.
  9. Go on, then Brakes, I'll come too. You need a rough woman to keep you in shape, IMO - getting mauled by booby-traps and all that...
  10. That is just wrong in soooo many ways I'm Augustus Staines, but you can call me Gus. I'm a proud member of the police force around here - so 'ello 'ello 'ello and all that ~A.S.
  11. Mhm, I agree with Arin. We should camp out somewhere. We're all pretty bushed, but we should set a lookout rotor...
  12. And Lorraine! Honestly, forget the woman, why don't ya?
  13. I just had an idea for a game I'd love to run; a much-more generic mafia game, but laid out like a mix between MOTEE and Galactic Paranoia, as in it retains the freedom aspect of MOTEE, but is split into two parts like GP I present to you... Footstep Mafia... The year is 1947. My name's Terrence Hoffer - but you can call me Terry - and things have been gettin' pretty weird 'round here lately... The town has been split socially - on one side, you've got The Mob. Nasty, dirt crooks, dressed up like a child's doll in their fancy suits, flashin' their corrupt cash. Its madness... On the other side, you've got the Townies. Thats us - those left standin' after The Mob's raids and gang wars. Its a struggle, sure, but we'll get by. The thing is - its gettin' worse. Last week a young woman was help up in an act of robbery reminiscent of highway man hold-ups. Witnesses say it was The Mob, but they're too scared too make a formal statement. Anyway, I digress. The young woman - Gracie Powner was her name - was shot at point blank range. We don't know what bullet, what gun, or who shot it. All we know is that it was The Mob. Well, probably. Gracie was drivin' an armored truck - military type, amphibious - that she'd been given by her cousin who had served as a driver during the war. Some of us at the Police HQ reckon The Mob wanted it for drug runs, bank robberies - all that stuff. The Townies are mad, fueled and bent on revenge. They want justice for the death of their own, and wanna flush out the Mob and return the town to normal. Heh. Like we hadn't tried that already. I'm writin' this down so that if anything happens to me, the Townies'll know the situation and try harder. -------------- Thats just a small taster for you. I plan to make that as the opening poster for the game, complete will blood spills from what is obviously Terrence being shot. Here's some information; - Players will have the ability to move around freely and solve the case themselves. - The mystery will be split into two parts: * The Townies - their job is to solve the mystery and get The Mob out the town, or dead. * The Mob - their job is to take over the city and drive the Townies out. - Players can use any objects they find. Some may open doors or such, others can be used as a weapon or used in someway to progress through the level. - Players can use a new feature I want to bring to Mafia games: vehicles. Players can use the vehicle as a means to get around faster (but not too fast) and some vehicles might help solve the mystery. * Cars * Gracies' truck * Taxi service * Tram service Cars and the truck can be driven by the players themselves, but the taxi's and trams will be driven by extra players who will only appear when their vehicle is being used. These players know extra information and can provide clues. - I intend to modify The Brickster's Dynamic Movement: feature to include night actions, secondary actions, small fights and other things of the like. Of course, with TheBrickster's permission - Lastly, I hope this game (if I get to make it happen) will change the shape of Mafia games (or a few at least) with the style I wish to present it in and the way it is played. I hope all players have a great time That's all I can think of for now, but I am planning and plotting this in detail, so any questions, I will have the answers to them ~A.S.
  14. Hinckely, Siegfried, CopMike and a few others on this board must be seriously offended I'm afraid of heights, I couldn't even get up the Empire State Building when I visited New York. (This is a totally weird fear, but please take it it seriously, I do: I'm scared of being banned from EB! Seriously, I swear, I do have nightmares about it sometimes! ) Weird, eh? ~A.S.
  15. I want to go in too. They could be setting traps. Maybe I should follow and make sure they aren't. I'll follow Brakes and Grease at the head of the group
  16. Your gonna let him crawl?! *Sighs* Lorraine borrows a few M&M's from Mark, and tosses them a few feet in front of Howard every so often as he crawls forward to reach them See? He just needs motivation!
  17. Who's that man, I wonder? Great story! Sure its short, but these things take work! I loved it, more, more! ~A.S.
  18. Groovy! I can't wait for this to begin! ~A.S.
  19. Filled it out! Thanks for this Cagri[/i], I always try and fill in as many questionnaires as they give us, and was not aware of this one ~A.S.
  20. Southeast you say? Well, I see no harm in that... Forgive me for remaining silent, I was busy stuffing my fat face with your M&M's, which are now gone. But I see you have another packet...
  21. Sorry I've been out of it lately. I've been down with a fever and such after being worked half to death at a choir performance, and was half in/half out of the swine flu borderline I'm catching up now ~A.S.
  22. Stoned? Dear me... I guess the only un-normal thing about me is my longish hair, which is now longer. Yay for long hair ~A.S.
  23. Nice to be singled out. Just because I'm 15 doesn't mean I have those things. For example: - Pimples: Clear and un-blemished skin runs in my family. Either that or none of us ever reached puberty fully - Scars: You can't see it in the picture, but I do have a scar above my left eyebrow from where I tripped over and cut my head right open when I was 5. - Recent signs of a fight: Hey man! I'm a civilized hippy! Happy? ~A.S. EDIT: Fixed a typo
