Participating in EBRP, alongside its creator, KhoRne, is one of my happy experiences. It really encouraged me to write, to contribute as a member here and generally just shaped me into the member I am today. Another would be the ill-fated Ditalini Mafia game, which was my first of what I hope to be many wargames, and though I only lasted until the second round, as everyone hated me due to my love of crumpets (), I enjoyed it nonetheless and was saddened when I found out it had died. What else? Every MOC I post, even just a small comment or a little criticism fills me with joy, because people appreciate the day-and-a-half I've spent cramped with my knees to my chest, surrounded by Lego, the only limbs moving being my arms in order to fetch pieces and build, and it reminds me why I build. Thanks for making this topic, it really stirred my memory ~A.S.

Murder On the Emerald Express: Chapter 10
AwesomeStar replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
So you blame us townfolk on poor Jennifer's murder, then ask of us? You should re-think that, mister! I will help you with my semi, but you'd better get y'all act straight, y'all son of a bun! Hmph! Why do I sound like Oprah??? - That's the real mystery here... -
Russian Troops - Armed with BrickArms!

Thanks, exx. Those are the ammo-holders. A little invention of mine to save time. Why struggle to get the blasted clip out of your pocket when you can just grab it off? Ammo-Holders -
The Treasure of the Lost Mine: Chapter 1
AwesomeStar replied to Luke McAwesome's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Ah, thats no problem, my photography has only just improved and it's still a bit shoddy. Thank god for Brightness and Contrast settings, eh? I'm looking forward to your next installment! ~A.S. -
The Treasure of the Lost Mine: Chapter 1
AwesomeStar replied to Luke McAwesome's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I really liked this! It was nice to read, brought the focal points of history to my attention and was well presented. The pictures were great, the plot was interesting and I want more! Well done Striker! ~A.S. -
I was going to build one of those cable cars, but then I saw these! If I get enough money I might actually buy one Thanks! ~A.S.

Thanks, LegoLyons. Have you checked out my other Russian MOCs? You can see the T-14 in full detail here. Glad you like it. It was one of my better Russian MOCs for sure, seeing as I built a brick base for it rather than stuck plates on a baseplate ~A.S.

Hey all. If you've been following my Russian MOCs down in the Other Themes forum, you'll recognize these characters. Now that I have received my BrickArms products, I have upgraded my motley (as in, there is 3 of them) band of Russian troops, or as Natman said, babushkas. A note about ranks (as they stand): Ranks are denoted by a colored strap, worn across the right shoulder, down, under the legs and back up the right shoulder, enabling grenades to be clipped onto the front, a weapon on the back and a small fire-arm, combat knife or any other equipment to be stored in the small holster the criss-crossing strap makes. Red = Comrade-General Blue = Foot Soldier None = Driver So, without further ado... Comrade-General; Igor Skvintsky: Ice-cold and rock-hard, this veteran general commands the best, and only the best! Igor is armed with an M4 Carbine (with mono-pod for extra grip, and ammo-holder on the top), 1 Frag grenade and 1 Stun/Flash-Bang grenade (as is standard-issue). He also carries a spare ammo clip. Foot Soldier; Nikita Gellar: Calm and collected, this loyal footman is a specialist in hand-to-hand combat Nikita is armed with an M1 Garand (with mono-pod for extra grip and ammo-holder on the top), Standard-Issue grenades and a spare ammo clip. Driver; Vladimir Koslov: Possessing quick reflexes and astonishing driving skills, this renown driver has proven himself many a time Vladimir is armed with a Combat LMG (which he has painted in his favorite color, green) and no grenades, as they are too bulky to drive with. Here is Vladimir testing the rest of our weapons batch: Lewis Gun (dismounted from the T-14) Bazooka (and rockets) And last but not least, the free Combat LMG I received in my package from BA reseller Minifig For Life, with a mono-pod, both in green! Enjoy, C&C welcome! ~A.S.

Hey all. Just another Russian MOC I've made - hope you're not getting bored of them! Again, this MOC features the T-14. It really is versatile. I am making another vehicle, so don't worry, you will be seeing more of my fleet. In this MOC I have made my first attempt at a SNOT road (well, a bridge really). I think it turned out really good. I'm more of a brick-on-brick kind of person, and not an adept at brick techniques like some of you, but I needed a jagged, broken road, and this technique worked! This MOC also features my Russian troops armed with BrickArms - thanks Minifig For Life! This photograph was recovered from a crashed German spy plane. A caption was added for your viewing pleasure Front view "We're going down!" Right side Left side Back side () "Sir, the T-14's going down! "What?! Run, man, run!" Without the minifigs and T-14 The freezing Russian water - not a good place to be! The checkpoint barrier down (I'm really pleased with this shot - the reflection on the road was completely unintentional!) How to make a SNOT road #1 - Make a flat, stable surface with raised sections on either side, including the back How to make a SNOT road #2 - Make a smooth road, with tiles on the top, then insert sideways into your MOC Modifications to T-14: Replaced brick-built machine gun with a much nicer BA Lewis Gun Modifications to T-14: Added 2 frag grenades, 2 stun grenades and 2 mono-pods to Cargo hold, as well as Bazooka mounted on the side. Driver also has a Combat LMG (in GREEN! ) behind his seat Modifications to T-14: 2 rockets, clipped together with a U-Clip for easy storage, added to the left side Enjoy, C&C welcome! ~A.S.

I really like this. It's a lot better castle than I could ever hope to do, and it's very detailed! It's a shame that you didn't continue, but I do sympathise with you, too - bley is hard to get! Well done. ~A.S.

(Breaking my rule, but this will be my last post in this topic) Ahh, I see now. My apologies then, 5150 Lego I'm taking a leaf from Hinckley and backing out of this topic now ~A.S.

Happy birthday to you both! I hope you have a lovely day! ~A.S.

Im gonna say this last thing and then leave this topic alone. Generally it isn't my business and I just wanted to express my thanks to the moderators and boost some morale around here! When I check EB this morning, as I always do, I was suprised to see a reminder, thinking I may have done something wrong (I always jump to conclusions!), but I was quite thankful, as I too had seen some odd posting habits and actually appreciated it, as it gave me a well needed kick up the megablocks to start posting a bit more creatively, though recently I have been making my MOCs known. Thats it from me, I'm not going to post in this thread again, but please, be happy. EB is a great site, be happy you've even got a moderating team! It's good to have around. ~A.S.

Ah, well, at least its in the same forum as the topic I was on about! Overall, I think the mods do a great job here. Sure, they've made some decisions that I don't like, nor may you, but they try their best. They aren't some super-human god (as much as we/they'd like to be ), but they give it their best shot, and 100% effort, and thats all we can ask. I imagine a thousand other members must of said what I just have, and you might not agree with me, but thats your decision, and that's fine. Have a nice evening (at least, where I am!) ~A.S.

5150 Lego, haven't you already created a topic about how you feel about EB's moderation? This subject-matter has been brought up in there already, too. Not being a mini-mod or anything, but you could probably continue this discussion there? Here's the thread. Just thought I'd make a suggestion, but it's down to the mods. ~A.S.

Murder On the Emerald Express: Chapter 10
AwesomeStar replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Hey guys. Did you sleep okay? I'll come too I guess. And how shocking about your friend Jennifer. -
They constantly change the driver, especially if its a specialized stunt - for example the snowmobile one done a couple of years back, they brought in a snowmobile driver, as you cant expect an untrained driver to pull that off! Also, there is apparently a clause in the Stig's contract that should he publicly reveal himself he will be fired. This happened with the black-suited Stig at the start of Top Gear, who was played by Perry McCarthy. McCarthy also played White Stig for a while, but was again dropped. So really, there is no one driver. ~A.S.

I'm not going to lengthen this discussion. That was a polite warning, no more. If you can't take that seriously, which your post suggests to me you can't, then there's a problem. On-Topic... When ordering from a re-seller, do they still package those extra little goodies that Will does with each order? By this I mean items in a new color, or a prototype. ~A.S.

I read in the paper this morning (yes, I AM sophisticated! ) that people are actually wanting to get SF in the hope of a faster immunity rather than wait for scientists to make a vaccine. I, myself, am not at all immune to most flus, and often have week-longs bouts of it in the winter. Luckily, here in the UK, its very well handled, though 3 people have died of it here. What is reassuring however, is that these people did have underlying health problems, so they were succeptible to it anyway. ~A.S.

Wow, these look great! I've just placed an order from Minifig For Life for 10 great weapons and accessories for my Russian MOCs, and I'm really looking forward to them arriving I BrickArms! Keep up the great work, Badger and Will! ~A.S. P.S. exxtrooper, I don't mean to be rude or anything, but you're coming across as snide with those last few posts, so you could you please just leave it out and keep this discussion on-topic. General rule here on EB is that if you have a problem with another member, PM them or an admin and settle it via PM. Thanks.

I'd already got one in my City Life set, on the delivery man, but never thought it worthy to post... Your not alone! ~A.S.

Thanks Jifel I trust you found the T-14's own page? ~A.S.

Yeah, I know it means Grandma Thats was pretty much the point. The MOC was just a testing ground to see if the T-14 could operate in urban environments as well as rural. Just took me an hour, a few plates on a baseplate, quick broken building and some rubble. The tank is a concept tank (by me), and is more of an armored vehicle than a tank, as it doesn't have a shell cannon, just a heavy machine gun. ~A.S.
