Well, the set itself will be amazing. I don't really want to pay 30+ for dengar on BL haha that would be quite a sad day.
-
I like the SSD, too bad I probably don't have enough for it after all the new themes...that dengar fig makes me happy.

I saw a picture a few weeks ago with Indy grabbing the Peruvian idol from the temple. The idol was a chrome gold color. The photographer said he purchased said piece from a bricklink store that sells chrome gold parts. Anybody know the name of the store? PS: Sorry if this is wrong section, I figured it fit somewhere here...

Yes Legolandia, that would be pretty cool. Luckily, we have the ability to greeble our hearts on it and make it beautiful. This ship will definitely battle my MF for the honorary model spot in my room.

Ooh Vader's super star destroyer would be pretty cool. I know it never gets finished in the films but I will finish it for him haha. edit: I just learned that it did get completed...I guess I always saw it under construction for the most part.

So, based on what everyone feels and thinks here, what do you guys think the odds are of us getting a UCS or a large playset featuring Cloud City or Jabba's Palace? Not necessarily this year but in the next year or two.

It is pretty cool. Too bad it has a little too much stuff going on.

It worries and excites me that they haven't had any updates about the hoth set. Maybe its going to be a pretty nice 60-100 dollar set with some exlcuisves, a nice interior with some cool features. Or, maybe it will be garbage we will find out soon hopefully.
-
Well, with all the sets for Hoth that have been done, I think we could see a shield generator, maybe a probe droid? AT-ST? and some troops for both sides. If its in an interior of the base itself, I'd say we get a control room, bacta tank (injured Luke?), some other obscure area. Possible play features would be "snow" caving in areas I guess.

Mhhm a new ISD would be a nice set...I really miss the continuity with the newer sets. I mean jabbas palace had like three or four little sets that could be made into recreating the scene. If they did something similar to that I think it would make a lot of people happy and we would purchase more sets.

Sweet! LEGO finally got the memo that we had been griping about for years. No more bent instructions and ruined stickers!
-
My favorite thing about the new sets this year has to be the individual bagged instructions with a sheet of cardboard. This is going to keep them snug and safe instead of rattling around in the box. Does anyone know if the smaller sets will have a similar thing or is just the larger sets?
-
God I remember when I first saw that set's preliminary picture. Then CopMike posted the review... the summer/fall wave sets should start appearing in a few weeks to a month methinks.

Wow that well scene is awesome! I almost did something like that a few years ago. Speaking of the Disneyland ride, I didn't go on it last time due to some renovations being made. Obviously I would love to see a Flying Dutchman ship with an Atlantis theme kraken! The crew for that ship just really gives me the willies.

Early release summer sets are the crux of my existence.

That is probably the cockpit we will be getting. The flick fire missiles have never really bothered me. They add a dorky play feature that even I enjoy from time to time.I just hope the flick mechanism isn't to unwieldy or ugly looking...

What other SW "Battle Packs" would you like to see?
Commander Keller replied to BearHeart's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Ritz Brick makes a great point. That sounds like a totally feasible battle pack. I think you are referring to Captain Tarpals if I am not mistaken. Throw in a couple boomas and you got yourself a gungan battle pack. But, if the gungan battle pack appears, there has to be a droid one as well. It might be safe to say that the new security droids might find themselves employed on the front lines. -

I think the 501st would be pretty snazzy. The jedi battlepack would only work if the jedi inside were generic. The major players like Saesee and Shaak Ti come in expensive sets and LEGO seems to be moving in the improved minifig direction so... ps: that battlepack by pedro could possibly work plus it would be pretty cool to get some rodian heads!
