  1. Judging by all the "verbal diarrhea" that's been spewwed out over the past two days, I can see why some of us choose not to say anything. There is nothing to say! And a few people have said that already, so thank you. Unless anyone has any solid evidence to contribute, and a lucky guess isn't solid evidence, then right now, we really don't have much of anything to go on. And Trex, . Loud and clear my man, loud and clear! I am curious why Iris was interested in the theater when she met with the Ladies...
  2. Hey all. After sitting back for a while and listening to everyone, with a sober mind, I have picked up on a few things.... I think the FBI is gonna' want their rats to do some investigating, serious investigating! Otherwise, they would have nothing to convict any of us on. So, those of you that can defend, protect or whatever......I would ask that you "protectors" keep an eye on the fronts tonight. I'll keep an eye on the theater here, but I may need some help. If any of those damn rats get in this place, it could get interesting! This is our meeting place, as you all already know, and I'll be damned if I'm gonna let some rat bastard try and get in here to do any snoopin"!
  3. I remember meeting you this past October at NWBrickcon. Welcome to the site!
  4. I would like to add my name to the pool please! Thanks.
  5. Current movie licensed sets tend to move very fast. Notice that the biggest set this time around was a $50 set, which just so hapenned to correlate to the movie....Joker....Tumbler....Plus, I noticed a lot of magazines including Batman LEGO sets in their "hot holiday items." As for LEGO restocking this item, I really don't see it hapenning, at all. This is one of the most sought after sets this holiday season, with the other two being the Police Headquarters and Agents: Mission 6, Mobile Command Center. LEGO LAW: If you wait or put off purchasing a set, when you go back to find it, it probably won't be there. Good luck!!!!
  6. So um...yeah....Good luck with your new title!
  7. Vader's Apprentice! Wicked Awesome figure in every way. I think he is the best looking one out of all the minifigures. In an action pose with that lightsaber behind his back...AWESOME STUFF!!!! I can tell you the most popular with kids is either Cody or Rex, because every kid 10 and under wants one of those.
  8. Cook County, Illinois (all three LEGO stores) 10% sales tax.
  9. Promotional sets. Only problem is, I don't know who the company was that was giving them away...
  10. Fantastic! I'm gonna go get lost in all those pics after work! Great detail; all those extras really make this shine.
  11. I don't believe I'm responding to this again...but this bothers me for some reason. pr0visorak, how does Brickarms promote terrorism? Please, I would love to hear your explanation on this one? I'm not gonna get angry about this, I just can't believe you typed that! If I use your logic, when a child looks at a Policeman and sees his pistol, is that officer promoting terrorism or violence? What about when a child sees the guy down the road lighting his pile of leaves on fire to burn them (a common thing found in the Midwest and New England)? Does that mean a child passing by will have a future in arson? 2 words, Parental Involvement! Nowadays, someone always has a burr in their megablocks, and unfortunately, if it might stir up some trouble, the media will always go after it. And just because FOX news had an article, don't sweat it poeple. Will just got some of the best advertising possible...word of mouth times a few thousand. Nice responses Badger and Will!!!!
  12. My order from SAH was placed on Saturday the 29th. It arrived today, so.....yeah. Call SAH and inquire with them. Do you have an order number yet? Was your card charged? If you still don't have an answer or are still confused come Saturday, shoot me a PM and I can look into it!
  13. I always thought that the feet were too small on all the versions I have seen so far. Yours, however, look spot on. Well done and keep it goin'!
  14. Isn't the SUN a tabloid in the UK?
  15. As far as I know, you are going to have to search for each individual item.
  16. Can someone get Sinner in this thread to smack a few people around with his Bucket? Hinckley's Hammer just isn't working! I don't know if it will help at all, but it sure will be entertaining!!!
  17. 2, 5, and 6 are the ones I like. Maybe retake a nice overview from the outside, but give it a downwards angle. This way, it would give a great overview of the entire front of the MOC, but also by aiming down, the viewer/observer can view the sweet bends of the top of the waterfall. If that doesn't make sense, I'm sorry, I need to go to bed, so my editing skills are gone. Really well done though. No need to make a door, you got one from nature. Nice job with the landscaping. Maybe if I throw my camera at the wall a few times, I might be able to take pictures like you? My camera drives me nuts!
  18. Hinckley!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  19. Chicago/Schaumburg Area: TRU Golf Rd.: Shipwreck Hideout, or whatever it's called, the set with the female pirate figure LEGO Woodfield: NEW STUFF like the three mini Creator sets (Castle, Pirate, Fireman), CITY Horse Trailer with SUV, many new Racers products, Red Technic truck, green Creator car and yellow Creator plane. And of course, PIRATES!!!! Brickbeard's Ship, Loot Island, Kraken Attackin', Imperial's fort (modular build), Cannon Battle, & Both impulse sets. Sorry, I cannot remember exact names at the moment, but I know enough people are interested and I wanted to get this info up tonight. And yes, there are still a boatload of 10144 Sandcrawlers on sale at $99.98.
  20. LEGO BRAND RETAIL STORES Friday the 28th of November Scratch Cards: While supplies last, people will get a scratch card when they get to the counter to make their purchases. Customers will scratch the card to reveal a 10%, 20%, or 50% deal. Customers are not allowed to leave the line to grab more items. What they walk up with is what they will get to use the discount on. For any other deals, you just might have to stop into a store that weekend...
  21. If I spooked you, then I am sorry. It isn't my job to MOD this thread, it just gets frustrating with all the other bs going on in here that I just assumed you knew what you were doing. As a past player, when we see an edit note, we get worried that the author may have included something, but then changed their mind and removed it! Which would be terrible for the players that were not able to see what was posted. My sincerest of apologies. Welcome to the game, I hope you serve some purpose here...
  22. I would tread lightly Lego12! (Notice I didn't include a smiley face!) I don't know you, and you definitely don't know me, so settle down, ok? You aren't as funny as you think you are! Two posts made, and two edits, I didn't know I couldn't voice my opinion in the general game thread where I was told I could? And this is where that kind of comment goes, right? Not in the daily threads?
  23. LOL!!!!!!!! This is Awesome! Definitely my favorite of your Fabuland / Belleville mashups. Creative design for the spray paint, but the fact that it looks like he is holding a joint is too funny. I'm showin this one to everyone at work. Way to go Sir Nadroj!
  24. STOP EDITING YOUR POSTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just stop, if you spell a word wrong, oh well! Please. Play fair.
