  1. None taken. Criticism is good! The split personality thing really isn't the apex of where I wanted to take Baradock. I wouldn't even consider it a completely fleshed out enough to be a split-persona right now to be honest. But being a mute character, I wanted him to have some mental turmoil going on, to shed some light on his personality and such.
  2. - We wants it, we needs it. Must have the precious. They stole it from us. Sneaky little hobbitses. Wicked, tricksy, false! -No. Not master! -Yes, precious, false! They will cheat you, hurt you, LIE. - Master is our friend! -You don't have any friends; nobody likes you! - I'm not listening... I'm not listening... --- I just had to. Had to!
  3. Baradock oddly eyed the two syndicate members, seeing them exchange secrets. He shook his head and followed behind the ogre, taking the torch with him. Plunging the room into darkness. He wasn't too proud to admit it, but at this exact moment in time, he thought of these strangers just as well as he thought of his brothers in arms. 'Even the witch!?' his mind snake rang, in honest disbelief. 'Even the witch.' he responded. 'Your going crazy, Baradock. Look at you, your even beginning to talk to yourssself.' He looked about him, why was he talking to himself? This place was really getting to him...
  4. Baradock looks at the vial from several ridiculous angles, still unable to discern what the liquid was. He held it out to the emerald light, covering different portions and revealing them, trying to make it divulge its purpose to him. 'Ussse your brain if you have one. What isss it?' His mind was at it again. And now it held the voice of a snake... Baradock slightly jumped at the break in silence of the witch, and then turned to the vial again. He slid it into his pouch. He would dispose of it once they were out of this infernal hell on earth. Shaken, he moved to the torch, unsettling it from its placing. Elevating it so that the party around him could still see.
  5. If anyone want's to slay an ice-dragon and get it's poo poo then sure! Dark Repulser will be just fine.
  6. Man, I sure hope Baradock doesn't get a WP:999 Laser Sword for Grogmas...
  7. Baradock makes sure to sidestep the aftermath of the witches retching. Grimacing at the nauseating stench. A witch that didn't like bones or blood? 'An inferior witch is still a witch, Baradock.' his subconscious said. It was even beginning to take on an actual vocal tone inside his head. Baradock sauntered to the syringes, before he could even inspect them he sees a glint of something in the corner of his eye. A vial filled with some kind of black liquid. He picks it up to appraise it. Shaking the liquids around.
  8. Baradock slides the book on the waist high counter. It was filled with intricacies he quite frankly didn't care about. His eyes widen once he's finished reading the paper. Slowly he looks at the party. His eye's finally landing on the witch. His subconscious rang loud, 'a witch cannot be trusted, Baradock. We both know that.' He quickly diverts his gaze to the ogre. Walking to the door. Motioning the others to follow. Baradock echo's the caution silently. 'a witch cannot be trusted...' tightening his hand around his club.
  9. Haha, wasn't actually offended . I read Quest: 56 (It being the most recent all low level quest) It was kind of the whole reason I made the plan I did, and in one of the posts I even made Baradock think the phrase, human lab rats. Glad to know it! Us Barbarians got to stick together with all these syndicate members sniffing around.
  10. Welcome back Sisco, not like I was here when you were active, but I'll just use my manners. On an unrelated note. Ok, I get it. Baradock made a stupid plan. Stop being so mean!
  11. Baradock stopped mid grasp, somewhat Relieved. Giving a falsely confident nod to Skrall he made his way to the Bookshelf, at random he removed a book from the middle section and dusted it off before flipping through the pages.
  12. OoC: Sorry for the late post, been a bit busy. Baradock stood, a stone expression on his face. No amount of training in the battalion could prepare him for this. Demons? Human lab rats? The sudden weight of an emotion unknown to Baradock forced down on him... fear. He paced around the emerald fire, dimly lighting the room, which granted everything a more nightmarish glow. His foot nudged something tough on the ground, leaning over to pick it up he could feel that it was a...book? Or had his imagination played tricks on him... OoCx2 : Can Baradock do that? weathered books were in the description of the room but not in the picture.
  13. Baradock un-plastered his cheek from the wall, hearing Karie's suggestion. He carefully shimmied to the spot the witch had pointed out Giving it a resounding 'conk' with his club. It did show some sparsity.
  14. Baradock un-holstered his club. It was an old battalion trick he was taught in basic training. He pressed his ear to the stone surface, methodically knocking with the club listening for a hollow area in the wall.
  15. Hehe, Lord Duvors, the way everyone forgot about Throlar reminded me of an old cheesy sitcom!
  16. Marauder looks really neat, CMP! Two thumbs up.. Can't see Baradock being one though,
  17. Baradock gave a sarcastic shrug. Almost cracking a grin himself, hearing the elf's retaliation. He somewhat recognized the description of an Ameoboss, except it went under a different alias at Konatar. Something of a story the trade ship captains would tell them from their travels. OoC: Edit: I thought the elf got all her money from stealing from her 'papa'! Says so on Page 7.
  18. Baradock overheard the elf's wailing. The ogre was honestly to kind to these, things. Whatever sympathy Baradock held to these addicts had vanished. He tossed the empty bottle into the ocean. He strode back to the party, purposely snapping the elf's wand under his foot, but not acknowledging her in the slightest. Crossing his arms, he began listening in on the conversation. OoC: WBD, don't forget to distribute the loot!
  19. Baradock looked wild eyed at the Ogre. His vigil was admirable but, yet, so... Baradock exhaled regaining his composure, before rigidly shaking his head in disapproval, but not in defiance. 'And if they were to fall in battle?' his subconscious rang. 'It was okay when they weren't yours to protect, but who's fault is it when they don't return home? Who's fault is it Baradock?' Flashing images of his fiance, his family, his friends. He meandered to the edge of the platform, popping the cap off his mead. Before pressing it to his mouth and washing down the fluids; concurrently clearing his mind.
  20. Baradock looked darkly upon the elf. He doubted their plan wasn't flawed. But if they had any plan in the first place then they must have known what was inside there to prepare... He glanced over to the Ogre and subtly flicked his neck at the elf as to say, 'investigate'.
  21. The elf's right eye was starting to close due to swelling, but her drugged crooked smile remained Baradock frowned, annoyed. He would make sure to wipe that smirk clean off her face! He winded up for a back hand swing positioning his club under his alternate arm. Loosing his hand, he Attacked the High High Elf from the front row.
  22. Baradock found himself a bit stunned. The golden syndicate member was swift enough to attack the Elf before he could even get the chance! He gave an annoyed grunt and winded up for another attack. Sure to land his mark. Baradock attacks High High Elf from the front row!
  23. Baradock brings down his club on High High Elf from the front row.
  24. Baradock nodded, not showing much enthusiasm in the story in the first place. He was however glad to see the crate collapse under the weight of his club. The elf fell flat on her phanny. Looking totally dazed, well. More dazed than usual. This gave Baradock a clear opening for an attack. He winded up but kept his hand raised until the Ogre gave the say-so.
  25. Baradock attacks High High elf's crate from the front row. Edit: Forgot to choose row!
