I've always had an odd fascination with the first wave of Alpha Team sets. Not enough to go out and buy them. But it was enough for me to download there instructions and proceed to revamp them to be more like how today's Lego sets are. The names have been changed a bit to better fit Lego's new system. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=569947 Each set also has at least 1 of Ogel's Henchmen. The ones in the vehicle sets have different colored chemicals as the collectible gimmick. Ogel needs them to make more skull bombs to turn more civilians into his minions. Starting off with Charge and Crunch's Bomb Squad Not a whole lot changed from the main build. Mainly beefing up the part that had the twin blasters. TeeVee got a redesign along with Ogel's Henchmen. I did take out the third vehicle and the target as I didn't think they fit anymore with the redesign. Perhaps instead a gate guarded by Ogel's Minions that Crunch could shoot at would work instead. Dash's Chopper Pursuit Quite a bit changed. Its almost not even the same copter anymore. Flex and Cam's ATV Patrol The Submersible craft got the most change. It can now transform into a mech form for land based tasks. The ATV also uses the winch brick as it would make reeling in the craft easier IRL. Radia's Recon Cruiser Very similar to the original set. Just swapped out some parts for sturdier ones and bulked up the cruiser a bit. Ogel's Command Striker Again similar to the original set. Just more bulky. Rather than be its own set however I have combined it with. Ogel's Mountain Base The original build is nonexistent. It needed a complete rebuilding. Even then I'm not happy with how it ended up. I've tried redesigning it but I can't think of any way to shrink it down while also keeping the main parts of it. Those being. The jail cell. The harbor for Ogel's watercraft. The crane. The Lab where the skull bombs are made. The airstrip. The watchtower turret. And the iconic skull. It is at least modular. You are able to remove the floors to get into the others. Even so I would really love help redesigning it to be more like how Lego does there villain bases. Ogel's Aero Striker Realized too late that it share a name with Aaron's wave 1 set. Didn't change it as it fits with the Command Striker's name. Regardless The ship does resemble the one in the base. Though it now takes off from a runway rather than act like a rocket. Still has the function to drop skull bombs. Just pull the technic axle in the back and a hatch will open.

A thought. Seeing as the laser pointer is shown in other sets. I has me thinking that it isn't the ultimate ultimate weapon. What if the ultimate ultimate weapon is the kragle and this is a prequel to the Lego Movie.

Finally got my Lego order today. So I now have my Mod of Chirrut done. I'll post pics sometime soon.

Was Nightwing confirmed?

I at least want that Nightwing Minifigure. Why would they remold the chima pheonix armor if it wasn't going to be in a set. (I don't believe there have been any new molds that have been only in the movies)

What's the price of Aaron's Rock Climber? I might pick it up if it's not to expensive. (I really want that Lord Krakenskull fig)

I find it odd for Lego to release a wave of Scooby Doo sets that didn't seem to tie in with any recent cartoon. Does anyone have an explanation as to why this happened?

Finally I can finish that mod of Chirrut. I've been waiting for those Dark Brown axle connectors to be available.

Well it might not be fast. But when I sorted my parts. I grabbed a handful and picked one type to start with. Once all of that type are out of the pile. I put the remaining pieces back in the box. Repeat until all of that type are sorted. Repeat with other parts.

Walmart I went to today didn't have series 17 So I just went and ordered 2 highway men on bricklink. It was pretty much the same price I would have paid. Plus its from a Canadian seller so the shipping shouldn't take to long either.

I wonder why Garmadon doesn't have his helmet and robes from the trailer in the Temple of the Ultimate Ultimate weapon. That set seems like a 3rd act set.

If anything. Nexo Knights might get a small final wave in winter 2018 with no summer wave. Kinda like how The Final Battle wave of Ninjago went.

I'm going to get a highway man and use his printed arms on my sigfig. Any idea what I should try to feel for when looking for him? I'm thinking feeling for a triangle shape for the hat.

If I could offer one possible change. Swap the socket on the elbows from the upper arms to the lower arms. Then the elbows will be able to turn inwards for possible two handed sword poses. As they are they can only go forward and back.
