Who is responsible for the renaissance of Fabuland?
Wilhelm screamer replied to Siegfried's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Honestly, I believe that there was a shared responsibility for this movement... So I voted for choice #5 -
It fits the feel of "classic" space very nicely. Nice job on that. Yay! 200th post

Tittle says all, these things seem to have infiltrated both Mars Mission and Exoforce and are TLC's "gimmick" for this year . What do you think of them? Examples: 8112 8117 8118 8115 8114 8113 7648 7646 (look in the center) (Credit for several images goes to Hinckley) This topic belongs here only because Mini robot have so far appeared in Mars Mission and Exoforce.

The last panel suggests that someone stole the engines. Is this true?

*We apologize for the lack of a witty caption. The author's brain exploded attempting to process the amount of possible jokes concerning prostitution. Have a nice day.*

Ordnance for the Mighty Lizbet...

Sorry it took so long... E.P.R. (Experimental Plasma Round) Only two of these rounds have ever been produced. Intended megablocks a "Convoy stopper" rather than devastation weapon. Only targets within 10 feet of the point of impact suffer any physical damage (vaporization), out side of that range the plasma instantaneously spreads itself out and far to thin to cause any harm. Instead it creates an EMP field that completely cripples any vehicle within a 4 mile radius of the piont of impact and lasts for several months. Because of its' primarily nonlethal status, Emperor Eternal Doctor Sinister choose not to have it produced and set the scientist that developed it into exile (although that scientist managed to escape with the only other prototype before disappearing under unknown circumstances before he could be captured...). -
I do not have that much... Pssst! The picture is a link.

It certainly is an improvement over TLC's design. So on that.

Yes, I saw that movie last sunday and absolutely loved the inclusion of Ben Burt's audio signature.

Spears in the new castle sets (I know they saw more use in 15th century war, but the sword as a weapon is far cooler) -
This is to my greatest sorrow to say that these sets are only the absolute GREATEST LEGO© deals ever! Alright... now with that fan@#^% out of my system, back to a more serious review. 852271 Box It serves it's evil purpose (tantalizing us into emptying our wallets ). Not much more to really say here... Figs Ahhh... that meat (or rather very purpose) of this set. All are fantastic and really do add diversity to your army (even if it is only one copy of this set ). Weird spear guy Archer Spear man Knight one (meh...) Knight two (with far cooler helmet ) And his CHROMETASTIC sword     And thats all for that set. Now for: 5615 Box It is surprisingly large for a set so small and does have quite an allure to it... The back has a lot less demonstrations of play features and a lot more product placement than a normal set. Set The knight really is good for filling out the ranks of any decent crownie army. I also find that the storage rack makes an excellent parts pack. Fig Like I said before, good army builder (even though you will have to replace almost all of the heads... ) With armor... The rack with a different layout And empty This set actually comes with a spare robot claw; good news for those who need them. When I said that this set made a good army builder, I really, really, really meant it... Final verdicts All in all, these two sets are a castle lovin' AFOL/TFOL's dream made flesh (err... plastic ). But I would definitly give the upper hand to 5615 for being the better army builder and the battle pack is better off being used sparingly as a supplement to diversify the ranks of your army.  .5 out of 5 from me
