  1. Nice! maybe ill remake the telehandler in the future without motorizing at all :D Also im thinking about getting a new set...probably the 8110
  2. I wanted to make something that isn't motorized...but I couldn't handel the temptation to motorize it :D Styling...well I have no idea what im doing with this part...Im having a really hard time with it - I simply can't think about how to make a model look good. well,I hope it comes with the experience :D
  3. Hi, I made a telescopic handler MOC. The original MOC wasn't supposed to be motorized, but after finishing it and playing with it a bit I noticed that it could be easily motorized without too many changes to the structure. So yes,the motorization isn't very good (the back motor is sticking out of the structure) but it works very well. The telehandler has 2 option gearbox to switch between boom lifting and boom extending. The model was built from 1 8043 set and some other pieces. and yes, I know the back has red and lime green to it...unfortunatly,these were the only colors I had for these pieces :( Video:
  4. I like your reviews , keep up the good work
  5. Finally,a good stop motion video for this set.
  6. The cheapest I found on bricklink is 140$,and thats without the shipping which can be very expensive in this size and weight of a box. you can check if the shipping is expensive to you in the seller's shipping chart(the price really dependes on where you live) and then see if Toys R Us deal is better
  7. Very good! What about DSLR cameras?
  8. Hi! Thanks. The video's quality is bad? yes,not because of the camera but because of rendering. I accedently rendered 25 fps footage on 30 fps, which created many problems. I use canon 60D,but im still learning to control all of its functions (manual focus,ISO ETC) properly..Shooting video with DSLR is much harder than regular camcorder, but the result is much better when you do it right :) So.. the video quality will improve in future videos because ill gain some more experience with the camera (im also getting new lenses) EDIT: part count? uhh,I don't know. I improvised a lot because I didn't have enough pins and liftarms cause I only have the 8043 (and some lego from old sets :D ) If you have more than 1 technic set I don't think it should be a problem.
  9. Hi! I finished working on my first GBC loop. it has 4 models - Philo's jigsaw,a marble pump (v2),the regular threads lift and the stairs model. This loop was very part costy for me It was very hard to finish as I don't have too many liftarms and pins. anyway,I finished it and it works great. Video: Watch on youtube page for bigger player :) Thank for watching
  10. Hi Philo! Thanks! (and also,of course thanks for the model, its from the mlcad file in your site :) ) Today I finished building another model which is the threads lift, and tommorow im going to build the step by step model.
  11. Hi! This is a jigsaw model for my 4 (or 5) models GBC loop. (if ill have enough pieces ill build the 5th model) not much to add... Video: BTW,how do I embed a video in a post instead of posting a link? Thanks.
  12. Instructions added to main post. its very easy, but I did instructions anyway for those who want.
  13. Well, first I noticed that the ramp piece (white) cant be 1X3 but only 1X4. ummm I dont know what else I can explain, ill take some pics and edit this post. EDIT: Heres some pics. sorry for the quality, they were taken with my iPod... click to open the bigger image
  14. Thanks everybody. Lasse D : its very simple. look at the whole video, there are some shots showing it without the ball tower. if you need more footage than that let me know and ill film some and send you.
  15. Hello! This is the first GBC model out of 4 (or 5,if ill have enough pieces left for it) that ill pe posting soon. This is a marble pump, but this one has a different mech than most of the pumps on youtube have. Its very reliable and can go in very high speeds without jamming. however after some tests I decided that this speed is the best for me. The mechnaism is deadly simple, its 2 beams (32056) spinning. one is elevating the balls and the other keeps the row from falling when a ball is getting inside (its hard to explain in words, you should watch the video :) ) The Video: Inspired by Jackal82JPN's mini pump. EDIT: im making LDD instructions right now. EDIT 2: LDD Instructions: http://www.mediafire.com/?h4vxa0bxfpc6b5d Enjoy
  16. amazon don't send big stuff to me,only books,dvds...etc..
  17. Thanks everybody. I'm limited by bricks because unfortunatly lego is about 2-3 times more expensive in my country than it is in the US for example. so if I want a set I can either order it from outside the country, and then the shipping is very expensive and there are also high taxes - or buy it here for 2-3 times larger price..and the good sets aren't available for buying at all
  18. Well, since the 8043 is the only set I have my choice here is pretty obvious.
  19. *SCISSORS LIFT,NOT FORK LIFT.. Hello, another generic MOC... Unfortuantly the design is not the best because I only have the 8043 set so I didn't have enough liftarms and panels to complete it. anyway the truck is fully functional, it can drive, steer and elevate the scissors lift using a LA. there are total of 3 M motors, one for each function. This is my first try of building a bigger MOC than the ones I did before. im a new builder so please be easy on the comments :) Video: ill be also making some GBC videos soon :) im starting to build a 4-5 modules GBC loop..so ill create a video for each module and then another for the whole loop when its finished.
  20. How about we agree on the rifleman squad? Thanks
  21. Well these are GP's recyko+ so its high quality. from my understanding the bigger the mAh is the more "battery life" per one charge you have, but I dont have much of knowledge besides from that... anyway, they work great for me :)
  22. Thanks tim! ill keep that in mind Well, how about we agree the APC is the best unit out there?
