  1. Hello there, I did not forget that you liked what I've done earlier with my little office and you encourage me to continu, to do more, so I did. I just want to mention that I've just finish my second year of study and in two weeks I'll start my third and last one before university. I'm studying technical architecture in college (Cegep) and after is university, it is the weird system here in Quebec... If I say this is because I have two weeks off, just enought to MOC after an intensive working session. So this MOC, is more personnal than the other one and it is also very important for me. I made it double: - The tribute - The classroom A-3824 And finally the both of them together. Firstly, my teacher Minh's. He is a monument of my college, he taught for 35 years and finally get retired two weeks ago and because I had it two times in different courses, and I may have learned more with him than anybody else. He is a real teacher, and as he said : "I'm not here to be you're friend, I don't care if you like me or not, I'm only here to teach, nothing less nothing more" You have to understand that he had made cry many girls and made some boys really angry, because he was really asking us to push to the max of our capacities. In fact he was really hard to deal with... If you live in Quebec, you've now or already see the Olympic pool while passing throught Montreal, well he's one of the second architect on that project, just after finish his study at McGill, one of his biggest project. One more reason to trust him. Hard but it is trully comprehensive because when you think he had over 30 years of experience of teaching and professional practice and he said to you that you've done is stupid... well I believe him. He was rought, because as the half of the teachers in my departement, they have learned to work by hand (with pen and paper!) and to transit to computer, something we cannot even imagine today. We learned more than the program wanted and on the moment honestly most of us don't give... But after, in an other course we thank him (interiorly) for that. He was a must have, and I got it twice. Secondly, the classroom A-3824 is the class of my teahcer Minh's. It is a real class if you wonder, in College Montmorency, Bloc A, Third floor. It is the same thing, the windows, the steps, the floor and the teachers desk, only students desks came from my mind. I use some light effect to make like natural lighting Some of the furniture I want to conclude this by thanks Minh's for his outstanding job even if I know he will never see this, at least I showed it to our program director. I hope you liked it. I invite you to see the complete set on my page : http://www.flickr.com/photos/harton888/ And your comments and suggestions are always welcome! More comming soon! Harton
  2. Your technique is awesome. Your roof is really amazing. It smells the perfection. I love how you change the brick looking at some places.
  3. Really like what you've done, the use of Dark Blue is not common such as Dark Brown and can be in some ways expensive. The pizzeria is great, those pizza plates are always good to use and the guy in is couch with is chicken leg, beautifull detail! Your integration with other modular is great. I just want to see more bike, more of it. Keep on.
  4. That's a fine way to use the full potential of a roof! I should do this for my drive way too!
  5. Amazing work, I wish it goes well. It can really be awesome in a church MOC. I really fell it if you add lighting from behind. It makes more "God" look like. By the way the windows are great! Keep Going!
  6. I'm wondering at which price we will be able to found the complete company, so 13 dwarves, Gandalf the gray (The Hobbit version?) and Bilbo of course. Because in a way everybody want them all! But for sure I'll buy at the beginning Bag End and maybe the LOTR game to, with all the things promise.
  7. Oh! This is absolutely lovely. It will be even better with the Bag End set in december. The stage is nice such as the windows of Bag End. I also appreciate the mini map you created, it makes me think of those board games. Really congratulation for your 3rd place!
  8. This.is.so.epic!!!! You given me to much ideas and the need to build but unfortunately I'll have to wait... Ahh poor me. The details are so great, especially the ruins, the vegetation and the smoke blow me away. Your technique is great and could be adpat to many projects like to do a more "realistic" view of the Amon Sul set.
  9. Oh! Its great, you given me some ideas. You know when you look fast it really seems to be the forge in Riverwood (Skyrim...). Your anvil and grinstone are really great (good use of hand!).
  10. Oh sweet! It is really great as a big fan of the Olympics Team Jamaica own it! You should make the podium next to it. I really like the arms on the sides and the lanes with the numbers.
  11. Hello there! So after more than a week (which seems more longer for me) I have finally ended the editing of my second vignette. I wanred to post it earlier this week but I was really running out of time this week, cause I was in a big rush at school... So I really want to finish it this week and so I did. Lets not waste anymore time on explanation and pass to the main subject. Those who have played or play TES games know that a similar situation already occur, maybe not in front of a river but on the top of a cliff. The results is still the same: you attack one (one hit K.O. if you're good) and the other one surprise by the shot said: "heard something?" and after "Humpf, minds playing trick on me!". But we all know is even more funny when it is the hitten target who said that... As you saw last week on the teaser it is talking about bowing and sneaking so I simply call it : The sneak attack For this one I decided to make things differently, so I took the two baseplates and forget the old method of the perfect square or rectangle. Here is the return of Gildas my ranger, but in "bowing mode". You certainly have noticed is new bowing gloves which increase is power of 15%. You don't see me... Detected!! An interesting top view. And a little close up of my river. I think I got to learn more but the guide in this them was really helpfull and detail. So I invite you to go checkout the rest of the gallerie on my Flickr page: http://www.flickr.com/photos/harton888/ And as always comments and suggestion are welcome. Hope you enjoy it! Harton

    MOC MUDFLAP

Really good looking. I'm not a big fan of Transformers but all in your creation is impressive, just looking at the background (Petra) wow. The only possible missing think is some explosion (Micheal Bay style!!)
  13. Really impressive! It may small but with those details I am completely blown away. As everyone already told you your roof is sooo clever and the action girl to. I really like that you post the details. One of my favorite part, except the roof, is your column, really good use of that piece. I haven't seen the other entries for your contest but I have absolutely no doubt about your victory was deserved to be yours!
  14. Great begenning! Those fallen walls are really sweat, I will be please to see it finish with (I hope) a lot of orcs and some Minas Tirith warriors. Keep going.
  15. When I saw the first pictures of it at Brickfair 2012 I was just asking when you were going to post them on your gallerie. This is simply stunning, the only thing I can (read here: I found) to say is: keep going!
  16. Wow, that little detail with the ring and the fire makes it all. Maybe add some beer and wine!
  17. I did not think you have made the interiors but you have surprise me! When I saw the exteriors I was really happy to see some "priceless" habitation building (also because the colors you choose are usually use for those constructions). It change from other modular building. Maybe some brick "bricks" (#98283) on the back wall in dk orange would have made a good effect! Well done.
  18. Really love it. The window store is so simple and effective. Everything is well use and I don't need to talk about your photography. I got a lot to learn.
  19. Really like it, your figs part are so great and really representative of the time and your street lights are are awesome.
  20. Oh gosh! the tops of your column are great, maybe in light gray or sand color but anyway I will sitll compare yours and real one while walking in the streets of Montreal.
  21. The interior is very great I really like what you did for the front windows.
  22. Hello there, So some are asking to see more, well you are going to see more because as I said I got the teaser photo. But I'm still in the photo shot because of a little incident. Well I will still finish it tonight. So here's the teaser: So... I guess its all for the moment, more to come. Cheers, Harton
  23. Hello fellows lovers of TES (Bricks), I am posting today just to tell you that last night I have just finish my second vignette (2 of 10 to remember you) of TES Bricks and I hope to be able to post the first picture tonight (because I'm working today). In fact I just have to do the photo shot and some editing and it is done. Keep follow for those pictures. Have a good day, Harton
  24. NIce building, windows and doors are great, to me only missing thinks is the front gate, but its detail... Great building!
  25. Thanks for your comments! Ha ha so you've notice it, no I don't use it, usually when I get bored I just try to change project or if its possible sleep... I'm glad you like the table its very cool, I'll show you more of it in a further MOC, I mean you can put it in many different way, like a real table. I also like the fact you comment on the bridge drawing, because you may not know this but here in Canada generally it is ingeneer that are doing bridge instead of architect... I'll be glad to continue my little MOC, in fact one new is almost finish, so stay tuned! With regards, Harton
