This is way too hard. Too many really good entries. I put my focus on the fitting in the scheme, so some really good entries that are modern style, do not get a vote. Seeing many people walking to the Quest Board then and again, Amma decided to have a look herself. Three quests were announced. One quest desired people with good relations to a family named the Bonapartes. She didn't even know them. Another quest was looking for inexperienced Heroes. Well, she had fought a war. But she felt still inexperienced. And the third quest asks for unknown Heroes. She did not know many people and she doubted that many would know her, especially outside the walls of this Hall. And she noticed the high rewards. {I should sign up for Quest#57 (Green and Gone). So many gold and I think I match perfect. But I will put my name under the other quest as well, maybe they need one little more experienced Hero as well.} So she writes her name carefully under Quest#57 Green and Gone and Quest#56 The Stealer of Senses: Stigveladi Kötturin She has just finished writing her name as Nessa approaches her. Amma had not realized that she was in the Hall as well. She sighs and turns around. "Nessa, I don't have your gem. It's my own. I feel sorry about what happened to you, but you really start annoying me. I thought we had worked this out and then, on the ship, you started this fight again. What's up with you? Leave me alone." She pushes Nessa aside and walks towards the doors.

Amma returned from the Marketplace. She felt the little statuette in her pocket. She didn't really know why she'd bought it. It was the item she had seen amongst all other things as she visited Fabian's place first. And as she returned from Charis, her feets were leading her right towards Fabian's shop. There it was. Still. This little statuette. Small enough to fit into Amma's hands. She had bought it before she even realized it. Now she was back in the Hall. There were many impressions in her mind from the journey to Charis. She had fought. Finally. And it didn't feel bad, not at all. Sure, there was blood everywhere. But somehow it felt right. This knights had tried to conquer the little town. And she knew she did the right thing. Defending the town. Why had she not realized earlier? Why did she not defend her town back in those days? Why did she refuse to fight. It seemed silly now. Considering the consequences she had felt after that, she felt even more regret now. On the other hand, she wouldn't be here. Among other people from all of Olegia. Amma looks around in the Hall. It is pretty crowded, more Heroes are here than the last time. Most of the faces, she does not know, but she does not even remember the faces she has already met. She sees some people she had fought with in Charis. Nessa seems to siege Thalion. Amma sighs. Nessa had talked all the way back to Charis. Amma had hoped that they could talk and get some things clear. But the talk didn't go well. Nessa was somehow agitated and had started to accuse her again. Seems to be an never ending story, Amma thinks.

When I am at full health and equip an artifact with +1 Max HP, does this raise the current HP as well? i.e. am I at full health afterwards or am I missing one?

On their arrival in Eubric, Amma notices that something has changed. She had not been for a long time in Eubric before they were called to Charis, but it was not so ... chaotic as they left. Amma goes to the Market and approaches Fabian's shop. She seems to know what she wants as she glances at a specific item. However she decides to look around for some armor as well. She examines the armor of ... and touches the robes. But her eyes always wander back to that item. She has to get it. "I'll take that statuette." She tosses Fabian 30 Gold and pockets the Cat Statuette. Then she leaves and heads to the Hall. Opening: 38 Cat Statuette -30 Closing: 8 Updated Stats:

Yep. I always say Amma as well. I created that name for that purpose. I realized though that I use her initial name if it comes to her bitter side. An I get that feeling from the names as well. Grumpy, bittersweet, greedy Stigveladi vs. kind, warm Grannie Amma. And THAT was not on purpose I noticed as well that her name should be written Stigwellathy to imitate the correct pronouncation. Stigveladi is closer to the original though.

"What I hear from that is that you are effectively saying that your leader Caesar will come back either way. Maybe without you. But with loads of others. Perhaps we can prepare either way and it is good to get rid of you at least. So, Thalion, as our beloved Party-leader (feel the sarcasm), feel free to sign the treaty!"

I said the same to him until I had to write the name. Even then I had to look it up several times. It's just easier to speak, I guess. Very nice. I really like the tractor and the interior (esp. the bench, the oven and the "kitchen"). One can feel the overall atmosphere. Very well done. The part I like the most is the idea though :

As Thalion walks away from their dispute, Stigveladi looks around and as she realizes that nobody takes a notice of her at this moment, she hastily picks up the 5 Gold and puts them in her pocket. Leaving her hand on her pocket, she feels the influence the gold has on her. {I just want to do... some shopping.} After that, Amma walks to her party members as well, waiting to listen their suggestions as well. Note to QM: -obelix- has noticed (thanks) that my ether should be 10/10.

Sounds gut good! edit Short question: How do you guys pronounce "Stigveladi Kötturin" (and how "Amma") and what do you think of when you hear her names? Is there a difference between Stiveladi and Amma (i.e. what conception do you have from her when you hear the names)?

Stigveladi stares at the gold in front of her. A strong and strange force pushes her towards the gold, but she manages to resist. Trying to ignore the gold on the ground, she says: "So, you want to bribe me to silence? Now the gold does not matter anymore for you? Fine, then you can give the rest out to everybody else as well. Nessa, Janek and Alexander spent a high amount on consumables as well. If you take it from that side, rather pay them than us." After a short moment of thinking, she adds: "But I am willing to accept your offer to drop this matter. I apologize for some of the words I have said to you, I did not intent to insult you. But I am still disappointed on the way you seem to be thinking. You mentioned that some Sorcerer has accompanied you before. Take some time and think about the influence he might have had on you." While she is talking, Stigveladi keeps moving forward very slowly, still purporting to ignore the gold, until her foot finally lies on the gold. She still resists the desire to pick it up and hopes that everybody will now move on discussing the things that have to be discussed.
