MacK's grip tightened around the grip of his blaster rifle and looked around scanning for the slightest hint of CIS troops, but all he noticed where a few blaster score marks on the wall where a small fight between the ships crew and battle droids may have taken place. "This is second squad we've reached the portside hanger there were a few battle droids, but nothing big. We are currently progressing to the main cargo hold, over and out". "BOOM!" "Vulture droid in sights take cover!", Several clone troopers fired their rifles at a walking vulture droid as it started to advance on their position. MacK sprinted to the safety of a few crates, where a few others had taken refuge, firing his rifle as he went. "The sergeants down, where’s our heavy trooper? We need to take that thing down!" MacK shouted. As he said that a lone trooper bearing a PLX-1 portable missile launcher emerged from behind a crate. As soon as the missile was locked on the vulture droid, he pressed the trigger, and watched as the missile a blue flash whizzed towards the droid before exploding destroying the droid. There was no time for celebrating however since a squad of battle droids had emerged from behind the ruble. "Screw it, we don't have time for this", said the lieutenant as he pulled a thermal detonator from his belt. "Down in front!". A nearby clone trooper watched as MacK flicked the grenade over a random canister into the midst of the battle droids. "Grenade", "roger roger", calmly remarked a few battle droids, before the grenade exploded sending droid bits flying. Even before the smoke cleared the remaining clone troopers were heading towards the doorway which the battle droids had used to enter the hanger. "This is second squad, over. We've made it to the cargo hold there’s a number of CIS assault vehicles including AATs and small personal carriers". "I read you second squad, set some explosives then get to call for your evact, my squad will look around a bit before pulling out, incase there are any prisoners, and such" MacK said into COM link. After an long pause came a clone troopers voice on the other end, "Affirmative sir we'll do as you wish". BTW I'm sorry for the picture quality my cameras not that good indoors .

Sadly,here this has been posted a while ago in another thread , its going to be featured as the Brickmaster set soon. It looks like a pretty good set the mudguard design is clever IMO. The Republic drop ship sped through space, towards the small frigate that had come up on radar only half an hour ago. MacK sat slowly checking his gun for any faults, he jolted as the pilot calmly said “The Frigate is coming into view now- - our recon has destroyed the small fighter escort that was acompying the vessel. It was made up entirely of droid fighters, its likely droids have taking the ship, and it may get real messy down there". "Roger that pilot, get tactical troopers!", the lieutenant called out. Instantly all around the cabin clone troopers started to load their weapons put scopes on, click off the safeties. "We're going to land in 60 seconds get ready", the pilot called out again. The gunship made a noticeable decent MacK made a final check to his rifle then made sure his COM link was on the right channel. "5 4 3 2 give em' hell", was shouted out by the pilot as the side doors swiveled open, allowing for the clone troopers to pile out into the ghostly ship. When the last trooper got out the gunship, it pulled back towards the safety of the distant Republic cruiser from where it came. "Sergeant are you reading any movement?" MacK said into his COM link as he scanned the hanger for any movement, "sir I'm reading movement all over the place".

Sorry Hotshot, this is old news: 2008 New Mars Mission sets Still this new set looks great, I only hope I can find the funds to buy it . This set seems really original in terms of design as well I like the idea of a large walker with a large drill on it, I wonder how much articulation it will have. After the relatively poor first year of Mars Mission it seems its improved a lot all of the new 2008 sets look great it seems likely Mars Mission will continue for another year.

A republic cruiser sped through space, before coming to an abrupt halt. Inside his cabin lieutenant MacK slept soundly, before being woken by the static of a small intercom mounted on the cabin wall, followed by the deep raspy voice of another Republic officer. “Sorry to interrupt you sir, but we’ve come into contact with a small unidentified freighter. It had a small group of droid escort fighters around it, but is not responding to any of our communications to us”. MacK looked at the intercom for a moment before responding “and you need me to lead a boarding party, or something?” “That was the idea sir we need to see if the crew is okay, and what the freighter is doing here in the first place. This area of space is strictly forbidding to civilian space craft.”. “Roger that I’ll be down to the main hanger shortly.” MacK responded before slipping out of bed. He stumbled over to the small closet in which his armor lay. Silently he dawned the Clone Trooper armor, while he mentally prepped himself for anything that could happen. The worst of which could be that the ship had been taken over by the confederate droids with the crew and cargo possibly being held hostage. After clipping on his grenade/supply belt the Lieutenant grabbed his helmet and blaster rifle, before going through the metallic door, then down the faceless hallways towards the hanger, and any hell that awaited the boarding party on that foreign ship. Also sorry for taken so long to post I got side tracked with a small MOC I was building and a few other things .
