Two Tuner X. I needed the 1x1 yellow slopes for my second version of the Jeopardy. This is the only set they come in, and I needed 8, so I had to buy 2. Luckily it's cheap  I also bought 3 steel storage thingies, each about 50x30x15 cm. I decided to start sorting by brick instead of by color. Well, at least I won't be bored for the next week...

Nice review Yoda! Not a Ferrari fan nor a huge fan of red bricks, so I'll skip on these. And all the stickers... I definately want some of those smoke quarter-round panels from the winning stand though. Those look like great windscreens

What's keeping that ISD that would come and help out? I'm getting tired of waiting on such a cursed planet...

Well that was yesterday...at least in my timezone. Happy birthday though

I have to agree. I got mine last week and I was blown away. The colors, the detail, the shape...perfection. Quite possibly the best Star Wars set ever...

Small area to work in? I'm trying to convince Adrian to let me submit the trailer by itself. -l2k- What I meant is that you managed to achieve a good look with lots of detail and greebling, but the MOC itself isn't that large. By area I meant areas of the MOC.

What is your favourite Castle piece?

It doesn't look pink to me And greebling is adding detail, mainly to space MOCs. -
Very nice work! I tend to enjoy building fighters and such more then civilian spacecraft, but this makes me want to give it a try myself  Great greebling and very nice work in such a small area. I now how tough it is to make it look good when you have little room to work with. Looking forward to see the finished product!

What is your favourite Castle piece?

No matter how hard I try, it just won't turn into a shortsword... I only had dark ones before, but last week I ordered 4 light grey short swords of Bricklink. Very useful for greebling  -
This is a great set. It has everything: the imperial base with the prison and the little pirate boat to rescue your fellow pirate with. And 5 minifgs! Wish they still did that...5/5

Apo, I finally figured out which part you meant. It's this one. Hope I'm right this time... Also, I've been working on the ship this afternoon. I changed lots of things but I'm still not satisfied. I've ordered some stuff of Bricklink, when that order comes in I can finish version 2.0 and post pictures of it. Hope to have it finished by Thursday...

I have followed the old man to the old command center and locked him in there. I don't think he realizes he is trapped yet though... I can confirm that the one known as Dragon King is not on Mustafar. Actually, the only human presense my sensor pick up is that of the old man and myself.

"I see dead people" "Those aren't people, those are imperials" I'm a sucker for quotes and references... Awesome work :-D

I remember the PS2 being very pricy at first (around 550 euros, which is 600 dollar or so), but it sold very well. All because of the reputation of the PS1. And the PS3 will sell well because of the reputation of the PS1 and PS2. If it'll really be that expensive, they're gonna have a very hard time fighting the Revolution (which apparently will be around 200 dollar). On a final note, what it cost to make a system is not what the system is usually sold for. Microsoft doen't make profit on their 360's, they make profit on its games...
-
Nintendo is indeed the most onnovative of the 3, but they most certainly have making profit as their main goal. Pokemon anyone? They'll keep on making pokemon games until they won't sell anymore... Also, if you're a racing fan with a Cube, I suggest getting F-Zero GX. Great game

Sne: I don't know what the swords are for either, they didn't look to bad on it. Will likely switch them for something else for version 2. Lego2000: I'll try adding some SNOT for version 2. It does indeed look a bit plain but I don't think it looks blocky at all. Apo: Up front I used 2 macaroni bricks. I have to agree that the front is rather ugly due to the lack of SNOT pieces that'll look good on/under macaroni bricks. I like the idea for 1x1 round bricks, but I'll see what I'll make out of it. Tried metal detectors which looked real good but didn't completely fit...
-
I agree with Lego2000, the engines look out of place. If you decided to keep them, I suggest making slopes towards it from the front. Hope you get what I mean Other then that: very nice ship! Just when I think I've made something good, you've done even better. Great job

Thanks for your comments guys  Starwars4J: The cockpit actually is airtight. Do you mean that the fences on the side have openings? I used closed fences first but liked this better. Dillon: I tried bulking those parts but I didn't like the looks of it... Apo: I'm not a huge fan of the scimitars either, but the part they're attached to has 2 technic holes on the sides. This was the best way to fill those up (but I didn't really try another solution). Also, I don't know exactly what part you mean. I suppose it's this part from the Life on Mars series. I ordered tons of LoM pieces and seriously wondered why I never bought any LoM set. So much useful pieces! Then again, that is the back of the ship, so it could be another part For the next update, I'll try to change the scimitars and add some kind of control panel or levers in the cockpit (it just didn't fit anymore). Plus, I'll be picking up a Tuner X this week for some yellow 1x1 slopes. I'll be adding those to the rear of the guns to make them look better. Also, I'll try to make the front of the guns allign with the front of the ship. Also, I made a picture of the gun construction. I'll add the 1x1 slope to the back using the same technic pin used up front. Did that on my beefed up White Ash and it looked great. Gun construction:

The Japanese prefer "own" goods from Sony and Nintendo. The original Xbox never did well over there either. That's the main reason... I'm not an Xbox fan though...

So, I was bored again last friday. Plus, I got in 4 Bricklink orders last week, so it was building time again. This time, symmetry again . I got lots of click hinges from BL, so I wanted to use those. At least 50% of this ship consists of newly acquired pieces. The Jeopardy is a small assault fighter created by Incom. It was meant for the Rebellion but they never bought lots of them. However, rogues and mercenaries seemed to favor to Jeopardy quite a lot, and Incom sold much more fighters to them then to the Rebellion. The Jeopardy features 4 small laser cannons at the sides of the main part and 4 large laser cannons near the engines. It has 4 engines, 2 large ones on the wings and 4 small ones at the back of the main part. The wings can move in various positions. Unlike most Incom ships, the left and right wing can move seperately from one another. Using this unique feature, the pilot can concentrate the engines or blasters. Onto the pictures... Front shot Back shot showing detailing and one of the main engines (design 'borrowed' from the ISD) Gallery when moderated Let me know what you guys think

I have to agree with lego2000 on this one. They're still very blocky (use SNOT techniques to make them look better) and the colors aren't perfect either. The first one has a very ugly color scheme IMO. The second one has a pretty good color scheme but it doesn't have "it". I'm not gonna give a mark because my MOCs are far from perfect either... Still, I can see improvement. Use SNOT techniques and try toying around with the color schemes a bit more and you'll do even better. Good luck  EDIT: SNOT info over here

Aren't those hydraulic parts?

Lord Vader, I can assure you no ships have landed on Mustafar since my arrival. Dragon King seems to be having one of those days again...
