Yes, old topic, I know, but I've been gone for 4 weeks and took some lovely pictures (in my opinion, anyway). Enjoy :-) View of the Grand Canyon Sunset at the Grand Canyon. View of Bryce Canyon Sunset at Bryce Canyon. I love sunset pictures, and this one has great colors. Telegraph poles at the ghost town of Bodie A river in Yosemite National Park. More Yosemite National Park. My favorite picture along with the sunset at Bryce. El Capitan, the largest chunk of granite in the world. Also in Yosemite National Park. The Japanese tea garden in San Francisco. Jellyfish at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. More jellyfish. Ugly creatures but they make great pictures. Pacific ocean. Ocean + sunlight = awesome pictures. A tree at the J. Paul Getty Centre in Los Angeles. I like the sunlight and the combination of the tree's pink and the building's white.

Thanks guys! (and sorry for not responding earlier, but I was in the USA for 4 weeks).

I saw it on holiday in the US. It wasn't really bad, but I just expected more good jokes. There were too much lame parts IMO (although the American audience seemed to enjoy every second of it judging by the amount of laughing). The part with Bart naked on his skateboard was pure genius, as was Schwarzenegger as president (although I don't see why they didn't just use Rainier Wolfcastle, who's based on Arnie after all). Other then that, the subplots were absolute crap and only seemed to be there to make the movie longer. Lisa's romance was written terrible and doesn't add anything to the story. The Bart/Flanders thing wasn't that good either. All in all, it's not a bad movie. Actually, it's just a 90-minute Simpsons episode. Luckily it's a good one.

I have a Sony Ericsson T230: It's my first phone and I've had it for ages. I think the color screen was brand new in those days :-D . No camera or mp3 or any gadgets, just a phone, so I can call and send text messages with it. I don't need anything else anyway.

The movie was ripped apart by my tv guide, saying it was without the doubt the worst blockbuster of the year. It also said there was a very crappy story, no interesting characters and 'explosions to cover up the emptiness of the plot'. I saw the trailer and somehow that's exactly the feeling I got. Won't be watching this.

Actually, I once read that all first-wave Bionicle names make sense. They were based on the language of the Maori, I think. For instance, Tahu had something to to with fire. I'll see if I can dig up that article somewhere, it was quite interesting.

I absolutely love the Vader fig. It's almost impossible to tell if it's a custom or not. The fighter has been done before, and I'm not too fond of Vader's version anyway, mainly because it lacks color. Still, you've tweaked it nicely (and I like those Imperial wing decals). Keep up the good work!

Hey guys, I was just browsing the 'What movie did you see last' thread and I thought it'd be nice to have emoticons to use as a ranking system. A dutch forum I go to has been using this forever, and it works well in my opinion. They could also be useful for reviews. I 'borrowed' the emoticons of that forum and temporarily hosted them on my Photobucket: I was wondering what you guys thought about it. Opinions are welcome!

The Usual Suspects. Plot twists are good! Just when you think you get it, they turn everything around. And then they just do it again, and you find out you were right anyway. Awesome. And of course it has Kevin Spacey, one of my favorite actors.
