not a mario fan! Blasphemy! :-D Well, not the 3D Mario games anyway. I admit, I didn't like Mario 64 nearly as much as, say, Super Mario Bros. or Mario World. Then again, I usually seem to prefer 2D games in a serie over their 3D counterparts. For instance, Super Metroid > Metroid Prime and Final Fantasy VI > Final Fantasy VII. But Super Metroid and Final Fantasy VI are some of the best games ever made and I happen to be a retro gamer so I'm not without prejudice. As for on-topicness: how do you guys think about the Virtual Console? Will you download games off it or will you prefer playing them on the original system? Being a retro gamer I'm happy that a new generation gets to play all these classics (most of which I missed myself since I never had a console as a kid), but nothing beats the experience of playing it on it's original system. How about you?

Mario Kart DS is actually fully 3D, where Mario Kart DS worked with sprites and a scrolling background. And I have to admit that Mario Galaxy looks way too chaotic to me. Reminds me of Sonic Adventure, and that's not a good thing. But I'm not a big fan of the Mario games anyway.

Dragon Quest won't be a launch game. And since I'm into retro gaming and have all 'old' Nintendo consoles over here (minus the NES which I'm not interested in), I won't need those point cards except for the Opera Browser. Then again, I wonder what the Virtual Console will do to the prices of retro games. I mean, a Chrono Trigger/Earthbound/Mario RPG go for 40$-60$ on Ebay for the cart only. What if you can get them for 8$ on your Wii...

I've pre-ordered mine a while ago. Now I'll just need to call tomorrow and add Zelda, Red Steel, a second controller and a classic controller to that. That's makes about...420 Euro...ah well X-D

Basically, I'm not sick of Star Wars. But I am sick of TLC using the line to make tons and tons of money without being really creative. Reissues, sets that are way more expensive then other sets with a comparable piece count, you name it. I quit buying big sets. They're just too expensive for what they offer. TLC should really try to be more creative, but lickily, they're somewhat giving the fans what the want now.

My name comes from a Gameboy Advance game called Golden Sun. Back in the days when I first got on the internet (well, on a daily basis) I really loved that game and just loved the pronunciation of Kikuichimonji (which is a sword in it, it's based on some kind of Japanese folklore/legend). Like most of us, I never got rid of it. I still like the sound of it, but I'm not into Japan that much anymore. Although...I still enjoy collecting Japanese games and am teaching myself Japanese. ...can you imagine how bad it was a couple of years ago :-D

Australian release: December 7. Seriously, if even Australia gets it earlier then us (with the rumors of a March 2007 release and all), I'm not going to forgive Nintendo.

I'm not too impressed. I'll have to wait for picture reviews to decide whether I'll get all of them, although the Battle Packs and the AT-ST are already on my list. I'm dissapointed by Grevioud' fighter though. I'd expected more of that. Oh, and I plain love the new At-St design!
