I am throwing the BS flag on this idea. I don't see a PM movie happening especially with a cast list that well known. I think this is a joke.

Marvels fate is now in Disney hands, this is very shocking news. I think what happens to Marvel depends on how hands on or off Disney is. For many years especially in the 90's Marvel was struggling. They have had some recent success with their movie lines such as Iron man, but are kids reading more comics now than there were before? I think on the whole the comics industry is struggling and now with Disney backing Marvel will be around for a long time. But the direction that Marvel goes from here is anyone's guess. This reminds me of when a new write would take over a struggling series and change things up, sometimes for the better, sometimes not.

I used to have the same promblem with my wife's dog chewing up my bricks. So after her mini poodle destroyed an IJ set of mine I took the destroyed MF into the kitchen and placed hot sauce all over them. Then with out saying anything to the dog I just placed them back in the mess.The dog came up and grabbed one of the MF and then spit it out and stated licking her mouth a bunch. Tried it with another MF and the same thing happened. This was about a year ago and I have not had and problems since.

I used to run all of the time, I was able to do 7.2 miles is 45 minutes and 2 miles in 11.30. As for my longest run that would have been 12 miles in around 2hrs .30 min. But my knees started to give out on me and so I have taken a break for about a year. Now I don't know how far I could run.

I was wrong about the Percy Jackson thing, 20th Century Fox is making the movie, but for some reason on the last book (which I just read) there is a Disney logo on the front and the author thanks them in his acknowledgments as well. I don't know. I hope in the city themes we continue to get more civilian sets, personally I like the little impulse carts and what not. They add life to a city that hoards of Police and Firemen can't. As for the big January exclusive I am hoping maybe for a Pirate set. After the Castle MMV I would love to see a Pirate theme of similar design. As for what else comes out I really do not know, TLC has surprised us before and even now with sets upcoming like the Grand Carousel.

I think some sort of historical theme will happen, if it will be massed released or only on factory is another matter. Personally I would bet on a Percy Jackson theme because of 2 main factors. 1 there will be a "hole" for a licensed theme, Sponge bob will be taking a dirt nap here soon and something will need to fill that gap. 2. The power of Disney is great and with their marketing machine and the movie release I can see TLC making molds just for them. I know what you are saying about the expense but I can see either Disney or Lego understanding the need for specific molds despite any related expenses.

I think we will see a Greek theme from Disney based upon the Percy Jackson book line. Disney is already making a movie for release in 2010 and to me this is where I see a Greek them coming from.

I also added a report fraud button as well. If they are going to be making MOC's a larger part of the website then there should be some type of reporting function. Thanks for the survey link.

I would like to give a +1 to UsernameMDM. I traded for a good wizard impulse set and the trading was fun and the package arrived quickly and in perfect condition.

Ralph S is I feel correct on all that he has said. There is no excuse what so ever on stealing. Just because the internet makes it easier to do something does not make it right. For a long time on many many sites the code has always been "give credit where credit is due." It is one thing to take a building technique and make your own MOC with it but it is another to take someone else work and pawn it off as your own. It seems we are trying to shift the blame from the thief to the builder here for not water marking their work. Why are we blaming them? Yes we can all understand why maybe a kid would do this we were all kids once but that does not excuse this practice of plagiarism. As a community we need to stand together and try to stop this problem with the help of the Ambassadors and TLC, not drive excellent builders to stop showing their work.

I read the books as well and your review of them is nice and concise. Personally though I found them rather boring and too childish at some points. Also the town of Forks is really small and living in Washington I found a lot of the details really off. I mean when you are driving out on the Olympic Peninsula there is always a logging truck following about 6" behind you no matter where you are. I think that a good review of the books is that they are good for teens to start reading to follow up with better stories later. On a different note which is a book series you really did like?

I think that a Greek/Roman theme is going to come but not in the way that most people are thinking. If we all remember Lego and Disney signed an agreement to produce some of their older lines and most likely some of their newer ones as well. Well Disney is making a Percy Jackson movie that is coming out in 2009 (for now) For those of you unfamiliar with the book, it is a Young Adult book about a kid who is a modern hero and his troubles with the Olympians (think Hercules meets the Jonas Brothers) The books are very popular in the US and with the idea of making all of the books into movies like Harry Potter I think we will see some greekish elements in the Percy Jackson line if/when they make it.

Another good set to get both Technic and PF components is 4958 the monster Dino. I have seen this set on clearance many places for only 60-70 dollars in comparison to its new prices of 100. You get tons of pieces and both the M and XL motor, a IR receiver, battery box and remote. If you can find one on sale or clearance I would recommend picking it up.

I bought both sets and to me they were a great addition to a small and fledgling town. But who is there to delivery mail too? With a Lego population consisting of almost nothing but Police, Fire Fighters and Criminals there is not a large civilian population that would need things like mail delivery. While most sets do include some sort of mail box there is almost no place in Lego cities as of now for the simple things in life. But it seems to be that the tide is changing and in the upcoming years we will see more people based city sets.

I would like to see the Avatar sets remade. That was a series that Lego dropped the ball on. There were so many cool characters and locations they could have done. Not to mention the possibilities with the different elemental bending as well. Maybe when the movie comes out they will revive the line.

Maybe the rectangles are there to show which side of the MF torso is the front? And maybe they are not there anymore because the printing machines have been upgraded?

This sounds like a great idea and could produce some very cool MOC's. Now I have something other to build other than bad Power Miners MOC's.

I have noticed the same thing here in the PNW the last few weeks. There are some newer sets out but they are varied and there are some discounts on the sets you mentioned as well as the speed racer ones as well. Since this has been happening for a few weeks I do not think that the recent floods are to blame. Maybe sets are just taking longer to show up here because of a christmas backlog on production?

Great Link thanks. Looking at the heads they all seem to be sequential ish. The heads displayed must have only been that days or weeks run. There must be a vault around there somewhere with all of the pieces ever made.

IA is back! This series was one of the reasons I joined EB in the first place. As always your ability to capture a Post Apocalyptic world is never lacking. Great building espically for the beginning of the second season. I voted for wait for the mysterious person to arrive, anyone is better than the evil lord Dragonator. Also I said to befriend the crazy man, if he is in prison he is there for a reason. He must have done something to really upset Dragonator and a dumb person could not do that. Maybe he could make you a new leg?

Lets see, currently I am a college student working towards a Master is Psychology and I work part time for the Library district as a repair assistant. Before that I was a Grunt in the Army for a few years. (7 long years)
