Not sure why they made a new hairpiece for the 12th Doctor. Capaldi's hairline doesn't look like that.

Old one looks so much better IMO.

I'm disappointed. I was hoping for a big impressive display piece. This just seems too much like an oversized playset to justify the $700 it would cost in New Zealand. Hopefully the minifigs won't cost too much on the aftermarket.

Which do you think are the best versions of Star Wars minifigs so far? I'll start us off with one. Luke: The 2011 version of Luke is my favourite mainly because of the new one's awful face printing.

So I'm guessing they're no longer moulding toes or pants so they can reuse the mould for other bigfigs. I see why they did it but I can't say I like it. I'm also not too big on the printed details on the pants.

A petition isn't going to do anything. The people at LEGO know what they're doing, they're not going to change their minds because of 10,000 signatures.

I don't see this set having many figures. Maybe a stealth suit Captain America, Black Widow, and Nick Fury.

I am really not happy about this choice. I think The Big Bang Theory is a terrible show and a really boring idea for an Ideas project.

I'd prefer something larger but flatter. Maybe not quite minifig scale, but more close to movie accurate proportions.

This seems like a good opportunity for LEGO to release all the figures that we couldn't get because there was no Winter Soldier wave of sets. I'm thinking Fury, Hill, Stealth Suit Cap, Black Widow, Falcon, Winter Soldier, and some SHIELD agents.

The topic of skin-tone has come up a few times. It basically comes down to personal preference; whether you prefer the more accurate flesh tones, or the more iconic classic-LEGO yellow. I myself am a flesh tone guy, but I can see the appeal of yellow too. There's also a wider range of heads and torsos for yellow purist customs.

As a New Zealander, I'm dreading having to get ahold of the UCS Helicarrier. What would be the cheapest way?
