  1. Challenge Three Voting Time It's time to vote for your favourite Guilds of Historica Challenge 3 entries. With an amazing 33 entries and only five points per member it's going to be hard to choose. Step in to the voting thread if you dare! but prepare to be amazed by some of the coolest story lines and builds our Guild members have come up with. All members that joined before March 4th can cast a vote to determine who wins the amazing Kingdoms Joust set donated by Eurobricks as first prize!
  2. It's time to vote people! Before you get started there are just a few things you need to know: Who can vote? Any member that joined before the start of the competition: 4th of March 2012. How do I vote? It's easy peasy lemon squeezy, just type the number next to the entry your voting for along with the entrant's name followed by the number of votes you are awarding. eg: 1) Joe Blogs = 1 vote How many votes do I get and how can I use them? I'm glad you asked, you'll get a total of 5 points to dish out and there are a few ways you can use them. The maximum amount you can award to a single entry is 3, not 4 , 5 is way off and your vote won't count. You must use all five pointsfor your vote to count! You may vote for yourself. eg: 7) =3 points 19)= 2 points or 8) =2 points 22)=2 points 30)=1 point or 6)= 1 9)=1 15)= 1 25)=1 33)=1 I could go on but I think you get the picture. Where do I post my Votes? Right here in this voting thread. Please don't use this thread for chat. Remember ! Guild points will be scored separately so please vote for your favourite entries regardless of the guild they're from. Why are we voting? The winner of the voting shall win the Kingdoms Joust! Check out the awesome entries! Please note that many entrants have built multiple MOCs to portray their "Crystal Quest" so take the time to look through them all and read the great stories that accompany them. 3. Damn straight Troy my man, we want pics of Ozmodia this great event.
  4. Round 3 building time has now finished. Your guild leaders will compile the entries soon for a public vote and Guild leader scoring as well. Stay tuned.
  5. Pretty much sums up how I feel as well. You have made lava your lackey Lisqr!
  6. Love the dream made reality story and the flower is indeed exquisite. Great job
  7. Now that is one intriguing tale, well done.
  8. Looks good mate, but you should probably add the pictures into the storyline (last and second last posts) Or move it all to the first post when complete Good stuff.
  9. I give up trying to find new detailed descriptions of all these amazing entries. Its just great Good luck.
  10. Well done, you have done a lot with little in the way of scenery! The evil mage and reptilian monsters look great. The rock wall and gate are nicely done. The internal brown walled quarry is a nice approach as well. Great photo too all add up to a great effort. Good luck and I hope your entry shows a lot of other people who might be intimidated to still have a crack and they too should be proud of what they can build. We wanted all members to grow and learn from Guilds.
  11. That's what I was going to say. If it weren't a competition entry it would be frontpaged for sure! Love the dragon and his wings. You have achieved an amazingly cold, frozen feel with this gobsmacking creation! Bravo!
  12. Great Roc, great story and nicely built MOCs with the atlas reference background being a nice touch. Good luck robuko!
  13. I stumbled upon this on Flickr but didn't realise it was an entry for Challenge 3! Love the interior spiral staircase as well, and the crazy Ape!
  14. I love a good drunken pub story One for the ages no doubt. The interior build is nicely constructed and I must have missed your exterior free build as well which is a nice touch. I see Dobby dropping in as well.
  15. A sensational effort gabe, with a riveting story and greatly designed MOCs in particular the brick-built hull and turtle mouth.
  16. YES! We got it over the line, I can't wait to see high quality Western sets in the future if it gets approved. Great build and awesome support out in cyberspace to all who voted on such a winning idea.
  17. Thanks guys, spent a bit of time on the box display, and pretty happy with how it came out. That reflection does look sweet and was a very happy accident too Here is the underside shot for those interested. Helicoid 5 undercarriage by I Scream Clone, on Flickr
  18. Thought you might take this as an opportunity.
  19. Great job, I love the integration of the covered wagon, the Saloon itself, the action, it all adds up to a great MOC. The only thing that looks a little over busy is too many colours on the ground for mine, but that is merely a personal preference and not a reflection on the skill put into this build. Well done.
  20. I shall return from a sabbatical in a few weeks hopefully with new improved journals of my travels! For now the keys to Nocturnus are in whoevers hands.
  21. Well I am most impressed by the two amazing builds, not to mention the rip-roaring tale you have spun! Great job and brilliantly photographed. I encourage other guild members who want to improve their photography to contact Z and some of the other builders here if they are after tips and hints on improving.
  22. Helicoid 5 Helicoid 5 is a little UFO design I had been wanting to try out in a Classic Space motif, pretty happy with how it worked out and I may have a crack at more Classic Space MOCs in future, hope you like.
