Im in the same boat as you Sinner, As my wife is off work till January with bub no2. My lego expenditure has been cut dramatically (gotta pay that mortgage i guess). Hewman has made me very jealous with pre-ordering the Death Star. Its a very tricky issue indeed....

I just bought the Troll Warship at the Big W sale for $68 Aus which compared to Aus S@H $99 is a major bargain (32% in my books especially for a new set is nuts!) Its a great looking set with 9 figures and a dragon. I thought about the dwarven mine defender and passed as i was also looking for the Tower Assault and it looks like neither of the two Big W's got any in, $36 instead of 50 would have been good

I really like the combination of Castle sets to make this great Moc! Well done on the characters too, bearded orc looks great as well as shamaness! Im also really digging the eyeglass that the Troll Sealord is holding. There are so many great little scenes on-board. The use of the blue blankets are a nice touch too!

I think its between Wookies, Darth Vader and Snowtroopers (clones and Boba fett get an honorable mention). I think at the moment Snow Troopers win out, though i will get my first Wookie soon....10188 here i come!

Well done sandy! You continue to construct great dioramas for the characters and the story is progressing nicely! I would like there to be a few less pics though, this could easily have been parts 2 and 3 together. But its all good otherwise! thanks for a great read!

Some times Lego just steps past all expectations and you realise you are looking at a beautiful piece of art, It is as others have said already, a pure tranquil structure with great smoothness, colour and details like the pink flowers in the Lotus tree, hanging lanterns, smooth roof, and oriental style window! Well done

My dark ages were quite a long time (bout 15 yrs) so i missed pretty much everything! I remember wanting lots more of these original knights and wishing for the rare ones too All of these have caught my eye, thanks to you guys! - The Mummy from Desert Adventurers - Green Forestman (black feather) (i have some with red,blue and yellow from BL already!) - And maybe the Emperor's Guard from Orient Expedition This ghost is very cool too (and perhaps some wolfpack)

What a great parody from you and Copmike, Bravo! i think the scenery turned out really well for the vig, and the custom characters, whilst creepy, look great for the story of the last lightsabre battle

I must say ive only seen the Dwarven mine at Kmart so far this year (possibly TRU), nowhere like Big W, Myer, Target or DJs. Just knowing there are so many new sets coming out has made the idea of the sale less appealing, though the lure of a cheap AT-AT is interesting, maybe i can hope for Orcish boat and tower raid to make it to Target for the sale.
