Welcome fellow Tower fan, you want shameless self promotion, check out my Tower then! Very nice!, I really love the modular design of the Tower. The use of Red and Dark red tiles is really nice as it lifts the whole build a little. I like the teleport pad idea, and the interior is really a nice touch. Im also a fan of mixing light and dark bley to get a bit more texture. Couple of small critiques, (nothing major ) im a real fan of Snot water so i always like to see some smoothness to water. The other small thing is you could make the bridge look more expansive by using these instead of the 1 x 6 x 2 arches. Nice landscape and sign posting, i may just emulate some of your cool designs! The parts for the rest of the bridge arrived today so it will extend right to the end of the plate. Thoug i was toying with the idea of stairs..... The golden crystal was kind of the unreachable treasure, but i like svelte's idea that minerals are forming out of the lava so i may add some more around the edges of the lava. Cheers Bluebard

Just a quick update, my last BL order has finally turned up so i should finish the towers etc in the next day or so! Still looking for more constructive criticism. Thanks Sandy, i was looking into a flag atop the tower. I have tried out some orange and red transparent bricks in the lava and they dont seem to enhance the look all that well. Geezers On!

Why else wouldn't you believe Kyle, after all traitors have to work together to get rid of us surviving (dwindling) loyalists, why would he torture a fellow traitor (assumed) unless the time has come to sever all loyalties (well as loyal as traitors can be) Where has the Good Friar gotten off too? i could use some guidance. I really enjoyed your review of the kayak! So many little things in one set that aren't currently in my collection. I didn't even realise it came with a buoy! Cool helmet, lifejacket, face, and oar, I will definitely need one of these! Cheers ISC :skull:

Very nice! I like the use of the green tiles for flooring, very appropriate. The red 1 x 8 tiles make great curtains on the wall, and there is plenty of cool statues and booty on offer. Good idea to build in the hinges to get better access to the throne room

Nice review, good to see your almost letting your kids play with your lego I like the functionality of the baby catapult, its good that they include some working features in a build this big! Are you not showing the figures because its really Hugh Hefners Playboy/Belville Mansion? I dont see the grotto though, must be an add on set like the poor puppy! Its just so darn PINK

Well, and this is all assumption, according to the Lego fans who helped design this new castle line. There input was predominately used for the first year, then TLC took over this year, but for 2009 the fans had a lot of input again! Maybe this will mean more skellies, or maybe a new faction like elves, only time will tell............ I like the skellies, see my latest MOC but you can pose the orcs/trolls a lot more for action shots.

Volcanic rock suuuure thats the look (musn't let on that i only had so much of each bley to use ) Well, since you asked, the specifics are a continuation of the bridge once i get some of these There are plans afoot to erect a sentry tower atop the bridge (tee hee erect ) There will be a lot more skellies and knights to come. I was thinking of scattering some of these throughout the lava Thoughts? Im also thinking of some tile work on the outside of the tower to rough up the surface somewhat, but i am really liking the light bley/black contrast, very malevolent

Hi all, I have been meaning to post the completed Evil Wizards Keep for some time now! [small Rant: I have been waiting over 6 weeks to get the last BL order to complete my creation ] I have finally decided to post some work in progress pics to get some feedback from the EB community. This is my Evil wizard and skeletons lair in the volcanic wastelands complete with lava river, under attack from the Good Kings army. Jus some pics to whet the appetite.... Either that or they are future releases, though its hard to know. It seems that the return of impulse sets has been very popular so maybe they will return after the current wave (street sweeper, crystal hawk, troll, kayak)
